FM radio app

Hey All,
Was reading today that samsung didnt release the api for the FM radio app, is this true? I mean isnt there another FM tuner out there?
Its true i cant find any that isnt just streaming...

If you want to use the FM radio on the Galaxy S we have released a library to do so at mmbtools.crc.ca
And there are indeed alternative apps using FM on the Galaxy S, for instance there is the "Samsung Galaxy S radio widget" which is a tuner built as a widget and we have released "FM TwoO" which was built using the library mentioned above. You can find both apps on the official Android market.

FM TwoO is really great! Fixes all the bugs of the stock FM.
Thanks - hope many more use that app - all those who enjoy FM on their SGS

Working radio on CM9

I have tried the Spirit FM app with all profiles in audio settings, but there is no luck. Is there anyone who makes the radio working on ICS?

I've the same problem, using inDroid Remics v3 ROM ICS but still not working Radio

i have Galaxy Wonder with CM9 beta3
none of the apps thats related to radio fm is working in Egypt!

Spirit FM works fine for me in India. If you want I can give the settings.

[Q] [Xperia S][JB]FM Radio App Required

Hello Proud Owners & Developers of SXS,
am using Xperia S with PACMAN v19.3.1 rom.. Am pretty happy and settled with this ROM due to the features like Awesome Beats & Bravia Engine.. but one thing bugging in ma mind is the FM Radio App (Non Internet, FM Tuner) . I've tried SPIRIT FM , am able to get the Station Names and RDS information but i couldnt get sound. Also noticed that this phone is not there in Spirit FM supported phones list.
Please let me know is there is any way to make Spirit FM work with JB PACMAN v19.3.1 or if there is any other FM Radio(Non Internet) which i can use with SXS..

Spirit fm does not support cm based roms. Hopefully Shingers5 is looking into it tho as the latest cm10 has an fm radio app now. Ask on the pac thread tho to remind him if you like

Tats cool.. jus checked Rayman's 4.2.1 features.. looks nice. whooa 4.2.1 in our SXS.. should overtake S3's performance

any other firmware available with this feature.

Only some custom ICS-based ROMs have that feature. Or you can install that feature yourself, check Themes and Apps section, it should be there, if I am not mistaken. Though no guarantees that it works 100% perfectly, because this is ported to our devices and may have some compability issues.

App fm Radio tuner for s3 with cm10.2 unofficial

i have s3 i9300... when i had original 4.1.1, i had app for to listen fm radio...now i have ROM 4.3.1 cm10.2 unofficial but i don't have app for to listen fm Radio....how can i have this app?? help me

It won't work with that apk. On cm10.2 you have to download spiritfm from playstore.

thk vortex, your apk is good... but this app isn't very cheaper... i find version light that it is free...but it is very poor...

For the moment, on cm10.2 you don't have any alternative choice.
