Tried installing Samsung's Smartview app from the PlayStore and it comes up with the app not being compatible with the device message. Has anyone managed to get this installed and working?
for your tablet, smart view has been replaced with an app called WatchedON
Goto samsung app market and search for that.
WatchedON is little larger app than smart view but you shuold be able 5o figure on how it work easy

Mine was installed on my T325 by restoring my Google-Account.

Hi,
Recently my galaxy nexus has been behaving strangely. For some reason, when I search for certain apps (e.g. Imdb, friendcaster etc etc) they do not appear in my searches.
If I visit via the direct link, it says this application is not compatible with your device
If I reflash my ROM and kernel, the market works fine for a little while..then the above problem reappears
I have also tried clearing market cache and data, but this does not solve the problem
Any ideas?

Most common error: stop changing your density or don't install a rom with changed density.
I used "fix market compatibility" within LCD monitor pro which installed a spoof 320dpi market. I can now find all apps, although I'm slightly worried about the safety of this spoof market

Same thing happened to me the other day. Went to download Titanium Backup in the market after flashing Driven. Couldn't find it. Had to download it from the web. I go today to search for it and it is there in the play store. Strange.

But after using the phone at 241dpi I could never go back to 320dpi.. it just looks so bad
Weirdly if I temporarily change dpi to 320 and then use the stock store.. apps still don't appear. Using the spoof store is the only thing that seems to work

... then you just have to deal with it? lol. I don't understand the complaint. You know how to fix the problem, but you refuse to do so, so then you have to deal with the spoof store. There ya go.

Im trying to get snapchat for my nexus 7, but the play store says my device isnt compatible.
I managed o get whatsapp on my nexus 7 without rooting it and i should be able to do the same for snapchat,
but i cant find the apk for it anywhere. Does anyone have the apk or another workaround?

Hey i managed to download the apk via real apk leecher, but it keeps crashing. I used appguard to stop it from
reading my id so it doesnt realise my nexus 7 isnt on the non compatible list, but all i get after i try to log in is a white screen

Yeah I'm having the same problem. The snap chat blog says it should work for all android devices 2.2. and up. I guess not.
after their latest update there is no more suport for my htc wildfire somehow so now i cant even leach the latest apk that supossedly fixed the white screen bug. Can anyone upload the 1.3 snapchat apk?

I just found version 1.6 (play store says newest is 1.5 )
But same thing... just crashes. And 1.5 isn't compatible with ANY of the devices I own (all 2.3+)

I think the reason why snapchat doesn't work is because the N7 has no rear-facing camera. Snapchat has the feature where you choose if you wanna use the rear or the front camera, and since the rear-camera isn't available, the app crashes.
Sideloaded Snapchat 2.1 and the camera now works!
When you take a picture you have to hold the nexus 7 so the camera is on the bottom. Otherwise the snap would be upside down.
Also the video doesn't work.

Hello everyone,
A new snapchat update is out (3.0.1) and I decided to sideload the new apk. It works!! You can take pictures regularly so you don't have to turn the nexus 7 upside down. :victory::victory: Recording videos also works.
For people who don't know how to install Snapchat apk on to your Nexus 7 , here are some instructions.
Step 1: Settings
First, you need to go to settings on your nexus 7. Click on the security tab and make sure the Unknown sources check box is checked. This allows the apk to be installed.
Step 2: File Manager/Explorer
Next you need to download a file manager or a file explorer to install the apk from the Google Play store. I used File Manager HD to install the Snapchat apk but you can use other apps.
Step 3: Download Snapchat
Now you need to download the Snapchat apk. You can download it from here: View attachment Snapchat_3_0_1.apk Once you click the link on your nexus 7, it will automatically download the apk.
Step 4: Installing Snapchat
After the apk is download, open your file manager/explorer and find the downloads folder.
Then click on Snapchat_3_0_1.apk. It should then start installing the apk.
Once it's completed, you can open it to start Snapchat.
I hope this helps others out. If you need help, just ask.

The new update snapchat 3.0.1 works perfectly on the nexus 7. You no longer have to hold your camera upsidedown and you can take video without it crashing now.

Thanks to everybody for not replying, I as able to find the issue. for those with the same problem, it is the xposed app for multi window that breaks up S Health, after uninstalling it, S Health went back to normal.

It's not even just that, I have another app from the market that does the sand thing and if I try to open the health app it seems to crash the lock screen and launcher, as it makes the phone go into sleep and the pattern buttons disappear.

Multiwindow and S Health two best apps! Nice to have both working
The multiwindow functionality ....and then also S Health (for purposes of a good pedometer) are two functions on any phone I've ever owned. Somebody please figure out a fix! Using a widget for S Health appears to work.

Thx to u i got it working again just blacklist it in mw manager and it should be fine
I had a Note 10.1 (2012) and there was an app (if rooted) that could add any app to multiscreen mode.
So I have a stock 2014 edition P600 is there a way to add apps to the multiscreen list?

I see that inside the secure folder there is an option to create clone of an app and then use it once you enter the secure folder.
I wonder if it is possible to create an app clone outside of secure folder so that I can use both my youtube accounts.
The last phone I used (Asus Zenfone 5z) allowed the same.

Tried it but even after making the premium in app purchase it doesn't allow me to sign into youtube and hence had to uninstall it. Still looking for a solution better then Multi Paralle as that does not allow me to increase, decrease volume and takes some time to load up.

I disabled Chrome and then installed Micro G but no change.
I'm using non root version.

Try uninstalling both YT vanced and micro g....then install Micro G first then followed with YT Vanced install. See if that helps

It was a bug, installed the latest Vanced App and it worked.
However the website does not clarify which of the release is the fixed one so had to check by clicking on each release.
