Hello guys,
anyone of you got XPosed Framework working with latest Z1c KitKat firmware? I tried both the XPosed Xperia test (from 4.3) and normal XPosed Framework, I can install it but it doesn't get active after a reboot.

With unlocked bootloader not a problem.
[D550X] CWM-Based Recovery 6.0.4.6 + ROOT for Xperia Z1 Compact {KitKat!} [20140320]
However if yours goal is to have root without unlocking bootloader then you must wait working exploit to 4.4.2 firmware.

Mine is unlocked and thanks for this didn't know it was that easy
Whoops! I didn't notice I was in the Z1 Compact section. I suppose you can ignore most of what I have to say here. Although the Gravity Box thing is likely still relevant.

Looks like the official, non-beta version was just released, and it's working on my Z1 on KitKat rooted with a locked bootloader.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51306764&postcount=9883
UPDATE: Gravity Box for KitKat causes my phone to force close whatever app is running when I press the volume button. I'm told it's related to the option in Gravity Box to reorient the volume buttons when the device is rotated, but I get the same behavior whether or not that setting is turned on. According to the Gravity Box dev, this doesn't look likely to be fixed soon if at all. I disabled Gravity Box and everything else works.

It's so sad, if GravityBox worked for KitKat on this phone I'd be so happy. I encountered the same issue as you. I'd reach for the wallet if it meant someone could fix it!
Unfortunately much more xpodes modules doesn't works on KitKat.
We waiting the updates
I just received my z1c today. Took me all day to #*(&$Q(* root it properly to backup DRM and then finally BL unlock and custom ROM. Restored favourite apps with TB. At first, Xposed+GB didn't work. After a series of updates, both are working now...thank god, because the z1c without GB is painful coming from a stock ROM.
Give me a link of xperia c3 dual xposed support plz

Is anyone facing error 920 while installing apps from
play store. Even opera doesn't work properly
when using WiFi on cm11...
And I have noticed that this happens only when using WiFi... Works fine when using data connection
I faced this problem with alpha 1 as well..
I have tried clearing data and cache of play store... Wiped /cache and dalvik cache from cwm, setting up static IP instead of dhcp... But the problem won't go away.
It seems to be WiFi related problem rather than of a specific app..
Any help would be appreciated

I recommend you to do a clean flash of the rom.... Follow these steps:
1.Backup Your Data
2.Wipe /system,/cache,/data from CWM
3.Flash Rom
4.Flash Gapps
OK here s my qstn
Think I installed cm11 alpha 2, and after some days they release say alpha 3 or beta
At that time should not again reflash entire ROM?

Just mount system and flash .. You should be good with it.
Simple Q from a total noob, cause before I start to climb the learning curve for CyanogenMod installing, I want to make sure not to waste my time.
My phone sais:
Bootloader unlock allowed: No
Should I give up already, or there's a remedy for this problem?

Just a curious question. What is the version of firmware you're currently use?
Older firmware of C1905 have a bug that change bootloader unlock status every restart.

The latest one officially available: 15.1.C.2.8
So you are telling me that if I downgrade to some older version (which one?) I only have to restart several times until I get a permission?

No. What I mean is if you still use older version of firmware, it might be just a bug. But because you are using newest firmware, it seems it's not a bug but the bootloader really not unlockable.

Good Rom - But some issues (may be I'm alone)
Hey Dudes,
Sony Xperia M C1905
- Bootloader unlocked
- Rooted
- CWM installed
- CM11 Alpha 2 installed + configured
1. - I had one issue with PICO TTS, I navigate to settings Text in Speech - I got an error message PICO TTS closed.
- Seems that I fixed it with reinstalliing PICO - now it works for me. My Alarmclock speaks now with me (Time, Weather).
2. - I use a Alarmclock that can activate the sleepmode (5 more minutes to sleep before I had to step out of my fantastic bed) with shaking my device - with my Defy+ and CM7 it worked very well - with Xperia M and Stock Rom also, but with Alpha2 CM11 no reaction - no sleepmode - damn I had to step out of my bed early any Problems with G Sensors or Accelerometer?
3. Lockscreen - Pin ist set - if I try to unlock the Phone I had to directly fill in the Pin - I used to first wipe then the Pin Screen appears.
Is this new to CM11 ( I had CM7) or is this normal in Android above the old one?
Thanks to the Developers and also to the Community.
Lars

Please have a look into xperia-m/development - the Root Howto works for me.
Once I had a little Problem - that could be solved with the CWM (root fix message) - after that I reinstalled the Superuser app.
Hi to all.
Please, can someone tell, does:
1. Wi-Fi Direct
2. FM Radio (stock Effem or Spirit FM)
3. Photosphere (may be not installed by default: use this)
works in this awesome ROM?
And does navbar landscape issue and visual glitches was fixed in Alpha 2?
Also about missing torch app and tile: here's some example commits that must bring it back.

Maybe your phone branded / SIM-locked to operator?
They usual can't be unlocked – Sony warn about this here.

Many thanks to all Devs that don't forget this device!
Was pleasantly surprised that @PecanCM remembered for me as developer that make CM10.1 for LG P350 and other LG's also work on Xperia M.
Sorry for my English

Most likely you'll need to unroot by installing the stock ROM before updating.

First, know your model variant. Then go over the CM thread in the Dev section and follow the instructions
Note that using AOSP on the G3 will remove some stock features (4k recording, stock cam app, LG weather).

Probably have to downgrade to an earlier version of android, then:
-root
-install custom recovery
-make a full backup just in case
-flash desired ROM using custom recovery

Probably depends on your build number. Post a screenshot of your "About Phone" section. It should say your model number, android version, build number, etc.
I can help you through each step if you need it.
4.4.2 is the manufacturer Kit Kat build. You will not need to downgrade.

Double tap feature still works on CM12. Double tap status bar to turn off screen and double tap to turn on the screen. However, there is no knockcode. Plus, 4k recording is removed, but honestly, who actually uses their phone to record in 4k?
Also, if you have a QuickCircle case there is a mod that will still allow it to work.

Well first of on what firmware are you on? From what I know only v108 KK can be rooted without unlocking bootloader. As for custom recovery look for Nut's recovery for z1c here http://nut.xperia-files.com/

It will probably be on KitKat version. You can follow the guide from here to root KitKat and maintain root on Lollipop.
or use pc companion and update os. After root and install recovery new releases.

Last I knew xposed was not available for Nougat. Magisk is your best bet and you will need to check their section to get an answer about any issues you are having. I installed it on my Z5P, but it fails the saftey net check currently and I have yet to take the time to figure out why.
