Exchange Account Sync turns off after every reboot?! - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

So I'm using the stock e-mail app with my Hotmail account configured as an Exchange account.
Recently I found that after every reboot, the sync turns off. Meaning I have to go into the Account settings and turn on Sync every time. Very annoying.
I've tried to wipe out the account and recreate, but still happening.
Any ideas?

I haven't noticed that on mine at all.
What Rom are you using?

No exchange calendar on Galaxy Nexus 4.2.1

I just switched from iPhone to Android on the phone (it's not my first time with Android )
I have upgraded to 4.2.1 takju
Restored my apps thru Google Play
Setup my exchange account using stock email app.
Up to here everything is fine, but my calendar from exchange server is not being shown in the stock calendar app
I tried to install acalendar with the same results
Can anyone please advise?

What I do is use Google calendar sync, which runs on my office PC. It sends my calendar over to my work Google account which I have configured as a second account on my phone. It works very well. I think the only other alternative you might have is the Touchdown app in the store.

Thank you for the reply
Is this the only way? Shouldn't stock exchange app (which has Calendar sync option) be syncing the calendar?
Mine syncs fine. Just make sure you have calendar set to sync in your exchange settings, and make sure your calendar is set to display your exchange calendar.

I depend on exchange calendar sync and I have never had a prob. You said your previous phones were able to sync?

I have 4.2.1 stock. No issues. I would delete you account and create it again.

Go to menu > settings > look under added accounts and click on one of them > scroll down to data usage and make sure sync email is checked and change size to retrieve emails to all > scroll down to sync settings and click on sync schedule > set both Peak and off peak schedule to every 5 mins > click done > do this for your other account.
Email client doesn't instantly push email notifications but will check every 5 mins to see if you have a new email then notify you.

I have checked that. It's set at every 15 min. That's fine as it interfers with my outlook if set at five min. But there is no notification of new.email. I have to check it manually.

Sync Disabled

Does any one know why all my accounts that need
syncing ( Google account, drop box, whatsapp ect) all show account disabled. I don't get emails unless I manually sync the phone. I'm rooted but still on the stock Rom with stock kernel.
See below pic for an example of what I'm talking about.

Hello I have been having this problem for a couple of weeks now, my official gmail app won't sync with my inbox.
I tried searching on the forum but wasn't able to find anything outside of a yahoo mail issue.
Anyone have any ideas or with the same issue?
My phone is completely stock.
Thank you for any input.

I have the same problem, I ended up downloading another email app.
It does have push...but sync has to be turned on. Works fine here. Did notice that a newer outlook I recently created doesnt have this option. But it works fine with my @hotmail.com accounts.

I'm using the stock email app. My hotmail has push but both yahoo and gmail don't have. They only have option for checking every 5 minutes. Looking for a fix

You have the option for Push email for the stock email app while linking it to your hotmail?
