[Q] Bluetooth Call - no sound - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I have an issue with my phone when using bluetooth. This happens when i use the phone trough my car bluetooth or my Jawbone bt earpiece.
When i place a call i get no ring tone and suddenly the other person pics up. They can't hear me and i can't hear them.
This happens randomly / often and i can't find any fix for this.
This is super annoying since this is my company phone and i call customers a lot.
Any fix for this or should i take it back to the dealer?
Running stock 4.3 not rooted.

I updated my phone to 4.3 trough OTA. I was told by a phone shop that i have to update the phone again trough kies since this will fix the issue. I can't imagine the update is any different trough kies so why this was recomended i don't know.
Anyone can confirm that updating a phone trough ota and kies is exactely the same?

[Q] No Call sound / Out of service area

Can anyone help, i upgraded to 4,3 and can no longer hear any audio in a phone call, either way, the speaker and mic are fine,
I have restored to stock 4.1.2, with the same issue, have flashed a number of modems but still have the same issue,
my imei is correct and i can make calls receive texts etc, so the phone is not blocked,
sometimes the call disconnects abruptly and i receive a 'out of service area' message and lose all reception until it restores a second later,
i have been searching for a solution, but have so far not found one, i have tried sound about, lock screen sound etc
i know this was an issue on the nexus 4, does anyone else with a note 2 have this issue???

4.4.2 MIC not working..

I just update and wipe to 4.4.2 and the mic is not working on my phone....
I am having the same issue. The mic was completely functional before the update, and now it barely works and only when there are really loud noises on speaker phone. I went to get some help for this, and I was told that "this isn't something that would be caused by the update" and that I should do a factory reset. I have yet to do this, I am having issues doing a backup.
I faced intermittent mic issue since 4.3.
I've been on 4.4.2 since last week but today is the first time I try the MIC. It doesn't work at all, it was working fine before the update... And doing a factory reset doesn't change anything.
I have the same issue since updating to 4.4.3.
Unless I talk really loud, the person on the other side on the phone has trouble hearing me...
I had the same issue, I had to send my phone back to where I bought it and they repaired it for free.
They had to change some parts to make it work so it looks like it was hardware related.
I got my phone back after around 4 days, now my Microphone works perfectly fine again.

SGH-M919. NB4 Stock. No in-call Audio. Please Help!

I'm working with a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-m919. I am currently on a NB4 Firmware. w NB4 Baseband. Knox Tripped. I went thru a series of Upgrading amd Downgrading via Odin and Kies to get the phone to the status it is now. I have smooth working handheld. The only problem is that I do not have any in call audio. It makes the dialing sound on the dialer and a beep noise to notify that the call goes thru but nothing on the earphone. The call does go thru but silence on both ends. I dont believe its a hardware problem because I ran the test on the Earphone via dialer code. and it made sounds. I managed to make other sounds come out thru the earphone via market apps. Also the microphone does not work using stock apps like google voice, S Voice , Voice Search and Voice Recorder. However, i downloaded a voice recordrr app on Market with the ability to pick which microphone to record from and the bottom mic was recording flawlessly like the camera mic. Is this a software, firmware, rom, radio?, modem? problem. i had no sounds for a while till i flashed the nb4 modem and nonhelos.

heres more phone info.
wait exceeded upload. ima upooad pics somewhere else.
but, yes skype viber fb other voip works
Was Kies the most recent thing you did to get to where you are now? If not, use it to repair your phone. You probably inadvertently caused the problem when you tried to downgrade to an older bootloader and LTE radio after the phone already had 4.4.x on it. If you used Odin and flashed the wrong files that would happen.
I was going to start a thread to say largely the same thing. I rooted and flashed TWRP. Made a backup of stock rooted. Flashed some other roms include The Sickness' S5 V3 rom, but ultimately reflashed to stock. My phone audio works for about 2 days and then just...doesn't. Hangouts voice is seriously messed up at that point, I can hear the other end fine, but my mic goes out like a crackly high-pitched & sped up chipmunk voice.

[Q] Xperia S earpiece not working during calls, sound comes from back of phone

Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my Xperia S that started manifesting itself a few days ago. Basically when I receive a call the sound doesn't come out of the earpiece but instead comes from the back of the phone, as if the loudspeaker was being used, but very quietly.
I don't believe this is a headphone issue as I've never used headphones on my Xperia S.
The earpiece works under normal phone conditions, e.g. Turning volume up on the home screen producer a bleep as normal.
Turning on loudspeaker during a conversation will basically make the sound already coming out the back of the phone go loud as is expected when activating the loudspeaker option.
Has anyone else ever experienced this or know of a fix?
I have already tried the 'plug headphones in and out repeatedly' fix which hasn't worked.
I don't think detecting the headphones being plugged in is the issue.
Any advice welcome!
Does anyone think this could be a software issue? Someone in the Sony Forums has recommended doing a repair on my phone, which just means flashing a firmware file to the phone. I can do that, but it doesn't seem like that would be the issue, would it?

During calls, I only hear people when I turn on speaker or plug headphones in

Hi
EDIT: Apparantly it was a non-functioning earpiece speaker after having my screen replaced by the official service center. I sent it back, got it repaired under warranty and now it works again.
I have this annoying issue that, when I have a phone call or call people, I can't hear a what they're saying unless I turn on the speaker. I'm running OxygenOS 3.2.7 and I've already disabled Google Now voice recognition.
Weird part is, my friend, who has a OP2 running the latest stock image, has this issue as well.
Would anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
