Confused - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'm running mk4 and I'm having a he'll of a time figuring out how to get root and a recovery on this phone. Can someone point me to a step by step thread on how to root 4.3 with Knox please?
Thanks a lot

Google unrevoked. Very easy. Hope this helps. Hope you don't get flamed to bad for posting in dev instead of q&a.

The one by mrRobinson worked great for me. It's a sticky in the dev forum.

Thats the only method that you should use OP. Its the best, safest, and i have read but please correct me other members that the no trip method has less of a chance of affecting the imei number when flashing stuff.

I just use the original flash recovery and root method with Odin quick easy rooted in 1 minute and then use triangle away to reset counter.

Good rooting program.

Hey, I just got my galaxy s3 today. I've been searching for a good rooting method but have come across several. My question is what rooting method is safe? I plan to flash stable cm10 after I root.

Chain fire worked for me... no kernel programming, just the root binary is installed.... simple and easy to do via Odin
