Hi!
Every AOSP rom I flash keeps having systemui crashes! I'm not sure about Sammy roms but I'll try tonight. Thing is I'm not a fan of stock roms and want to use aosp roms.
So I get this systemui has stopped dialog, if I click OK, it reappears. Often when I get the first crash message, it locks my screen, if I unlock it I get the message and the same happens.
The work around is simply turning off the screen and it should work again. However it's really irritating. It's weird because it happens on all aosp roms. I have factory reset(ted?) many times and it happens even if I have zero apps installed.

Sometimes when i try to make a call it will not connect. then when i touch the hang up button it turns my notification bar green and does not go away unless i reboot. It seems to only happen sometimes.
My phone is on the stock rom but is rooted

It's called LOS. There are hundreds of posts about this. Some phones have it some don't. Depends on the phone, the rom, and a number of other things that Devs are trying to figure out. I'm running strongsteve's odexed rom and haven't had any Los. Previously I was getting it quite frequently.

Hi guys, I'm running this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485722 and I'm having one major issue....recurrent bootloops from no where. I'll often check my phone after it having been in my pocket, and it will be bootlooping. Or I'll be using an application and it will happen...phone freezes, starts bootlooping.
A battery pull fixes the loop, but it happens time and time again. I tried fixing permissions in CWM but that didn't fix it. I love the rom and want to use it, but its unreliability is such a flaw that I simply cannot.
Tl;dr: I like the rom, want to fix random bootloops. If this is not possible, do you have any suggestions on either similar roms, or straight up better ones with reliability?

There's mikrunny over on the mikmik forums and there's magnolia here. I have uses mikrunny and I like it. Did you wipe everything before flashing your rom? Always do that...

in the past two days my phone has failed to start my camera twice. I opened instagram first and when I tried to take a photo it said "unable to start camera" in tried it again and it said the same thing. So I opened the actual camera and it just opened a black screen with the camera controls (shutter buttons, settings, etc)
No matter how many times I opened the camera or cleared the tasks using the camera it still refused to start. only after restarting the phone did the camera start again.
has anyone else experienced this or know any possible reasons as to why this could be happening???

Try deleting the data of the camera app, if that doesn't work, try a different ROM, if it still happens, it's a hardware problem.

ill try that the next time it happens but at the moment I'm completely stock and just rooted.

I actually had this happen a few times before I rooted or ROM'd. I have yet to have it happen on JellyBean and, if I did, I could just hot boot. The only thing that ever fixed the issue on stock was a restart.
Is it possible this is an issue similar to webcams and PC's where the permissions get messed up? Can you recreate it? Open app x then try to use the camera in app y and see if it's bonkers.
I have been trying everything in order to reproduce the problem, no luck as of yet unfortunately.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue but every time I flash either beanstalk slimkat or liquid smooth all recent updates my phone works for a couple days but then all of a sudden if I try to use my dialer app to call someone my phone screen goes black and freezes and the only thing that works to turn back on is battery pull this also happens when receiving calls too?? Is there a fix for this cause I really hate touchwiz and want slim kat back??!! Thanks in advance

I have tried SlimKat and never had an issue, I would do a clean Install of the ROM. That should fix the issue. Also if you are restoring apps via TB, sometimes it also causes issues.

I always do a clean install when flashing roms. . Also I don't use TB to restore anything just delete apps
Well ATM its working.. But lately the lag on my device makes it stutter so bad it freezes up then slowly comes back. Then sometimes the screen goes black and my device won't do anything.. The screen doesn't come back on. I have to hold the power button and sometimes volume buttons together to get it to restart to be usable.
I have only experienced this on 5.0.x roms 4.4.4 never did this
Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks

I've never had those issues on any lollipop ROMs (at least not for this device).
Personally I'm not a big fan of CM, have you tried any other ROMs and/or kernels? Have you flashed a custom kernel or adjusted any kernel settings that could be causing this? Are you using any mods (like Xposed)?
I'd suggest trying out some other ROMs (possibly even just rooted stock) and starting out with a clean flash, with no mods/kernel changes initially, and see if you still have the issue.

I'll give that a try.. I haven't done anything to it because upgraded the bootloader to like 4.04 and installed CM12 on it. It ran so good till like a week or so ago and now its just trash. A case with a magnet for sleep mode wouldn't have anything to do with this would it? But first things first, I'll try a simple 5.0.2 rom and see what happens.
