I ordered this from Amazon and it was 3 days late (I am on prime). When I got it, it wasn't what was shown on their amazon site. It didn't come with a micro fiber, dust removal tape, or anything except the screen protectors. The first one was a completely different material and created massive bubbles and was so rough and covered in a white smudge. The second one ended up working like a screen protector should. Overall. I don't know why this happened. I heard so many good things about this brand :/

Hey dude, I own the same exact product. Here is my experience with the screen protectors.
First off, there are two layers of protective plastic. There is one on each face of the protector. In between the two protective films is the actual screen protector. This threw me off at first because I was also getting tons of bubbles and smudges (since I was applying the wrong film). If you cannot distinguish which is the actual screen protector, look for the thickest piece.
As for the missing add-ins, contact Anker. They have great customer service.
Hope I helped!
I know it was a protective film. I removed them both but still didn't work. =/

Definitely contact Anker about this. They will probably send you a new package. There must have been some sort of mistake if it didn't even come with a microfiber cloth, dust removal tape and a bubble removal card.
That's weird. I ordered their Matte protectors twice already and both came on time. You can actually get Amazon to reimburse you if it arrives late. As for the protectors if you use the hinge method they should be bubble free. I received the first one with a little bent corner though but it didn't affect the protector. I also received the cloth and dust remover in both packages. Anker does have amazing customer service though.

I contacted them and said that what I reviewed was from an Amazon warehouse and not them. They are sending a new order ASAP.

I have read through the 2 thread about the screen protectors and full body screens, but its not clear which ones cover the buttons.
I have a gel/hard case combo cover the phone (great fit and protection) so I just need the screen, buttons, and chin covered. I am leaning towards Best Skins Ever full body protector, but I can't tell from the picture if it covers the buttons. It looks like it covers the screen and chin, but its not clear if it protects the buttons.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I already had to return one screen protector from amazon b/c they sucked.
It does not cover the buttons. It pretty much covers everything except the buttons. I got mine last night and installed it. Took a good hour and some bubbles are still left, but they're all drying out and my phone is looking shinier than ever! I strongly recommend best skins ever. Great customer service too.

Bse here as well. Screen only. Tpu case for the rest.

i don't think they make a screen protector that covers the buttons
Sounds interesting, but It seems like it would be kinda weird
I think it would be extremely difficult to efficiently cover the buttons because they're actual physical buttons, not flush capacitive "buttons". If you were able to cover them with a material, it would likely peel up after a short time.
Check out Ghost Armor. The material will cover the buttons individually. It also has a lifetime warranty.

+1 on this. The buttons get kind of dirty around the edges after a few months, but it's free to get them replaced. They'll coat the entire phone for 35 I think, and I've only ever had to fully change mine once and I originally got it done last December. Only reason I had to change it was because I warranty exchanged my phone for a new one.
What about this case

Hi guys what would you recommend?
Ive heard good things about XO where there not much orange peel.
But I want to know if there are other good products.
What the good thing I heard about sgp flex is that there's 2.
Also is there much orange peel on the sgp?
Could you also post pics?

I slapped a SGP flex on my nexus on day 1, and after a bad first install, have been happy with it ever since (comes 2 per purchase).
There is a minor peel effect, it doesn't bug me in the slightest personally. Never visible at all with screen on, and feels perfectly smooth. Clarity is very good as well.
I took a few pics trying to show the peel, with very limited success on camera.

The peel you're talking about, is the at the bottom or the top?

If you mean by peel the edges peeling, there isn't any at all. The orange peel thing where it looks a bit odd in certain angles of light with screen off..pretty uniformly covers the entire protector. But I can't feel it's presence, or rather, you can't after a few days after application and settling.
I currently have a Nillkin tempered glass screen protector.
Kind of tired of a case (since I almost drop my phone anyway) and am wondering if I could get a skin for my nexus.
Only problem being the fact that I'm pretty sure I can't apply the skin on top of the skin. But what will become of my nillkin? How will I protect my screen if I have a skin on the phone?

I have the same protector and dbrand allow you to order a skin for the back and sides only. Which is what I'm using at the moment

Hello,
Lot's of people have installed SW onto Temper Protectors ranging from .40mm to the thinnest at .10mm. The key is of course to take your time and apply it as instructed. Slickwraps are very forgiving, however it does help to get it right the first time.
As a second option all Slickwraps come with an XD screen protector that fits in the middle of the wrap, thus adding that screen protection.
Always feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
Weston

I want the front white though, never liked the whole white on back but black everywhere else design that Google had, it looks ridiculous. All I want is an all white Nexus 5. (Nexus 4 had tempered glass protectors with the bezel areas white, but it seems that doesn't exist for N5).
Interesting Weston, I might give it a try then. If only that XD protector was tempered glass.

Hello everyone. I just got the chance to install the Skinomi Tech Glass tempered glass screen protector that I ordered off of Amazon a couple days ago for $14.95 after I noticed that my Nillkin chipped in a couple of spots on top of the screen protector and proceeded to crack.
The overall packaging of the Skinomi is done rather well and unless heavy items is stacked on the packaging the screen protector should be safe during transport. I chose the Skinomi product over other products because of a lifetime replacement warranty they have on the product so if this screen protector happens to chip or lift up because of a poor manufacturing process I have that extra piece of mind. Some features this product has is as mentioned before a lifetime warranty, a thin profile(seems thinner than Nillkin although the official specs has it the same), rounded edges, oleophobic coating, and a proximity sensor cutout. Installation was a breeze and the fit is much like the Nillkin with a couple of millimeters of space around the edges. So far I am quite satisfied with the product, I will upload pictures of the installation soon.

Does is come with a back protector as well? I noticed my Nillkin has small chips at a few spots as well. One of them looks like it's cracked slightly but it's so thin you don't notice it. I'm thinking it'll blow out eventually though so I'll have to replace sooner or later. Damned if I know how how it would have chipped since I've never dropped it or keep it near anything that could do it.
The cheap back protector that comes with the Nillkin seems to be doing the job, it's scratched to hell! So I'll never not have anything on the back.
No the Skinomi does not come with a back protector, just the front. I still have my Nillkin back cover still on the phone.
I am assuming the keys in my pocket caused the chips on my Nillkin because I never dropped my phone either.
Forgive me if this sounds stupid, is this meant to be use in place of the stock glass that comes on the Z1?

no. it covers the glass, so you technically have 2 layers of glass on the front of your phone.
When I ordered my Pixel 4, I ordered a few various screen protectors and cases to have ready when it arrived. I'm very happy to report that the first one I tried out has turned out so well that I just threw all the other cases/protectors in a drawer to collect dust.
Amazon Link ($7.99)
I installed the case first to use as a guide to install the protector and the end result is the most perfect protector install I've done on any phone, with perfect alignment and no dust trapped underneath. There is no "halo" line to be seen where the clear part of the protector meets the black border around the edges, either. I was quite worried about that.
I initially intended to use this protector (or another one) with a Spigen TPU case, but the case that comes with this protector is so good (with a slim snug fit and perfectly tactile button feel) that I have no desire to remove it. I love the combo so much that I decided to order another one to have as a spare in case they ever disappear from Amazon.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this with others who may be looking for full coverage protectors. Here are a few pics I took. Any dust seen is on top of the protector. Living in a brand new house, it's impossible to escape, unfortunately.

Does the screen protector adhere well on the edges? Or does it rise up?

Sorry for the delay. The edges adhere with no issues. I haven't had any lifting at all. It's still perfect.
Full coverage protectors always seem to chop off a bit of the display. Usually noticeable in apps that have objects near the edges. How does this one fare?

I disagree. I have installed many screen protectors and this one does not confirm to the curved edges of the screen. The case is excellent though.
I bought it just today, waiting for it to arrive to me in Italy (about 10 days). From the photos I can see that they are a winning combination!
