Is this possible? They have it on the table 2 but I wonder if anyone can port this to the table 3.

Good luck !
It seems you forget that Tab 3 7.0 and Tab 3 10.1 seems to be CRAPPY :silly:
So since there's NO dev on this forums, you are NOT going to get this.
Devs are focused on Tab 3 8.0 instead because it have an Exynos Dual CPU which easy to exploit than the ones (CPUs) of Tab 3 7.0 (having a Maxwell CPU) and Tab 3 10.1 (having an Intel Clovertrail aka Atom Z2560 CPU).
Tab 3 7.0 users are lucky because you've CyanogenMod ported ! While Tab 3 10.1 still don't have CyanogenMod

Not released yet for Tab 3 10.1
Btw, it's officially available for Tab 3 8.0 aka SM-T31x and have been ported to Tab 3 7.0 aka SM-T21x
Just look at the respective forums

Can anyone help explain the lack of Rom development on the 10.1 ? Those who have had it would you recommend returning it for the note 8.0 ?

I'm wishing I had got the tab 2 10.1 instead of this. I thought there would be more intrest in development by now. My last tab was the dell streak 7, and I just can't believe I have bought another orphan. At least samsung says we are getting kitkat. It's just so disheartening to see all those choices of custom roms in the tab 2 10.1 forum.
I want to get a Tab Pro, but I also want to have CyanogenMod (I hate touchwiz but the specs are amazing).
I assume the CyanogenMod team will pick up the devices, but seeing as they didn't pick up the Tab 3 series, I want to get one that has a higher chance of official support.

In my opinion, the 8.4 and the others galaxy tabs pro, which have snapdragon processor has chance for bigger support than others.
The 8.4 Tab PRO already has an unofficial CM 11 build. I am still on stock but from what I read it is pretty stable.

I can confirm it. Running CM11 on SM-T320 smooth and stable since the 2014-04-01 build. Big thanks to crpalmer :good:.
Since Note pro 12.2 have same specs as note 10.1 2014 edition. So is it possible to flash note pro's stock firmware on note 10.1 2014 edition ???

Since you don`t have the knowledge don`t think about it as it needs porting with lots of experience how this can be done, just wait, KitKat should be on the corner for our device
both firmwares are basicly the same ... on note pro you have "magizine ux" ... I dotn know why this even has a name ... its just flipboard which does not work properly as a widget... and you have hancom office ... thats it... well and 4 multiwindow capaility ... but that wouldnt make sense on the smaller note 10.1 ...
The performance on the kit Kat Rom is reportedly a lot better. That would be a major reason to look forward to the update.

Eh, 10%-15% performance increase. You probably won't even notice the difference, especially a on a fast device like the Note.

You probably will. Not in actual speed as you pointed out but apparently these roms are a lot smoother and not as laggy.

What is the source of this info? Because judging on the current situation, only the US fw has the multi user functionality..... (another stupid move by Samsung...)

I can't find the source right now... But afair it was removed in the current firmware and will be re-included in 4.4.
i think both tablet as a same in any revision 3g,lte,wifi my note 10.1 is 3g version and detailed specification same as a note 12.2 3d p901 the diference just in usb port note 10.1 is usb2 and 12.2 is usb3. resulation as a same chipset as as same camera and telephony as a same in resualt i think the kernel and boot .img and recovery.img must be as a same
but i have bad experince in this waye ((flashing kernerl device to different device)) i accidentaly flash note2 n7100 kernel to galaxys3 i9300 and touchscreen digitizer completly dead but note 2 n7100 and s3 9300 completly is different devices
but note 12.2 just scaled from note 10.1 and no more
Has anyone with KK (android 4.4.2) installed on the Note 8.0 tested how well it works with Samsung's Gear 2 (or Gear 2 Neo)?
Can you connect to Gear Manager?
I am particularly interested whether Gear 2 apps can be seen in (and installed from) the Samsung App store....with Android 4.2.2 I cannot see those apps....
Thanks!

You can reply yourself...
Is there already a KK 4.4.2 Official TOUCHWIZ update available for NOTE 8.0?
Yes - NO?
I give you hint - AOSP 4.4.2 available roms are not TouchWiz - GEAR compatible.
Official support for GEAR starts with 4.3 on S3,N2 etc....even 4.3 is not available for Note8.
Thanks - no, I am not aware of any, but Samsung has stated they will update the Note 8.0 to KK. So, I need to wait for this offical update....hopefully Samsung will start rolling it out soon (they announced the upgrade back n February, I believe)....until then I will not be able to load any apps to my Gear 2....unless someone finds a way to sideload them...not well done by Samsung...what % of Samsung tablets/phones is on 4.3 or 4.4 (with Touchwiz - Gear 2 compatible)?

Off the top of my head, we have the Galaxy S3, S4, and S5, Note 2, Note 3, Note 10.1 (2014). Pretty much every flagship Galaxy phone made within the last 2 years is running at least 4.3, and most of them have had 4.4 OTA (s5 shipped with it). So in reality, not a bad job by Samsung at all. You have to understand that just about every Galaxy or Tab or Note line runs on different hardware, and needs it's own build of TouchWiz. Naturally, the newest and most popular devices will be first in line for updates, and this is completely understandable. Unfortunately, the Note 8 is a niche device, which was very expensive to buy, and consequently not many people own one or need one. We will get 4.4, but we will probably be the last to get it. Whether it will support Gear remains to be seen.
KitKat for the SM-T211 model of the Tab 3 7.0 (the 3G one) has started to roll out in Italy. The SM-T211 and T210 have the same specs pretty much apart from 3G capability. This means we should be seeing KitKat for he SM-T210 soon.

Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!
Check SamMobile. They captured the 4.4.2 firmware for the SM-T211 from Italy. The SM-T210 has exactly the same specs as the SM-T211.

KK ROM for T210(R)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/development-7/rom-port-nolekat-v1-0-t210r-t2837338
This Rom Is Kitkat 4.4.2 for T210 (R). It is very stable for daily use and gaming. I played Dead trigger 2 and its somewhat faster than 4.1.2. Credits go to gr8nole who hold the ROM
Is this for SM-T210R only or both versions? I wonder because of the extra SM-T210 [DEV] kitkat-rom
