Unable To Install ClockworkMod SuperUser - LG Optimus G (International)

I have an LG E973. I installed Cynaogenmod Stable version on it. The phone itself is rooted. But I want to install Clockwork Mod SuperUser to make it appear unrooted.
I need the device to be appear unrooted because I have to have work email working on this phone. Our work email uses Macfee EMM. Macfee EMM does not support rooted phone.
I was able to do that in the past. But I ran an update on Macfee EMM this weekend. And now it is saying it can't support rooted device.
But when I ran ClockworkMod Superuser, it says The Superuser Binary must be updated. I am including the screenshot. Any ideas why?
Any tips/advise is greatly appreciated.

Installed SuperSU, tried to run it, and it is giving this error message instead
Yes I upgraded my phone to Android 4.3 in Dec 2013. But it was working fine then. And I was able to install SuperUser, make my device appear unrooted.
Could someone explain. How do I manually re-root?

Flash SuperSU via recovery

Sorry...is there a step to step instruction to this? I am still not an advanced user.

How did you install cyanogenmod?
Download zip from second link, put in your internal storage, boot phone into recovery, install zip/chose from sd card... And thats it

Root is Gone?

So all of sudden, my rooted S3 is not rooted anymore.
I wanted to use Titanium Backup and it says
"Sorry, I could not acquire root privileges. This application will *not* work! Pleasre verify that your ROM is rooted, and try again.
This attempt was made using the "/system/xbin/su" command."
and then I tried my other root applications such as Greenify, App Ops and they are all saying my phone isn't rooted anymore.
I don't understand, I never upgraded my phone after I rooted and I never flashed a different rom and kept the Touchwiz Rom.
I used this guide to root my phone originally:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771687
My phone is running 4.3 Android (Same Version I used when Rooted in the first place)
Baseband Version: T999UVUEMJC
Please let me know what to do

It isn't.
The following message pops up:
"There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!
If you just upgraded to Android 4.3, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!"

My suggestion would be to back everything up and re flash root66.

Would I lose all my data?
In terms of re flash root66, that means simply using Odin and re-rooting my phone like I do the first time right? Would it be the same instructions too?

I'm not sure if you are going to lose your data.. so that's why I said to back everything up, just in case.
And yes.. same method as before from that post.
Befoe you flash again. Try uninstalling then installing supersu again

I can't uninstall supersu as it gives me no option to do so. I can only uninstall all updates that were applied but not complete remove and then install it.
I had this happen on my Tmobile Galaxy S3.
I read somewhere else on XDA that you just had to install the latest SuperSU, in zip form, from recovery mode.
I havent posted enough here to be able to post a link, but you can find it on chainfires website.
Then reboot and it should work.

M8 won't root

I had a rooted M8, however something was going wrong as it constantly rebooted. So I did a factory reset and that fixed the problem. However now it won't root for some reason. I have TWRP recovery and flashed the root file however when I do root checker it stated that I do not have root access. Anyone know what's wrong?

Have you tried flashing a different version of the root program? I assume it's SuperSU (From Chainfire) ? It still gave me root access on 1.94 I saw that he already updated to version 2.00 by now.
Perhaps try a different version and see what it does.

I used SuperSU. Should I try Super User?
Just use the normal install method from Google play. Twrp auto Installs the su binary the first time it is booted in to. Then just update super su via play store.

I've never used a toolkit on my HTC devices, so I can't speak to their effectiveness. Perhaps they need an update to work with Lollipop.
I recommend using TWRP recovery (just because it's the one I used and I know it worked for me. Can't speak to CWM or Philz)
Flash the SuperSU update zip found here: http://download.chainfire.eu/695/SuperSU/

Rooting on Lollipop HTC M8

Hi,
I recently updated my phone to Lollipop. I am looking to root it. This will be the first time that I will be rooting my phone. I have unlocked the bootloader but when it comes to updating my phone to install TWRP I get the message "Download complete. We will now attempt to reboot into TWRP and install SuperSU. If this app just closed, try rebooting into TWRP manually". I click continue but nothing happens. I am also unsure how to manually update this? Please help I'm a noob to this stuff.
Thanks

Go to TWRP manually and install supersu.
Choose install and scroll all the way down and choose supersu.zip
I've managed to update the app but when in supersu I am now getting the error message saying, "There is no SU Binary installed, and supersu cannot install it. This is problem! If you just upgraded to android 5.0, you need to manually re-root". Does this mean I have to downgrade to kit kat?

No, it just means you need to get a flashable SuperSU zip, put it on the phone, and flash with TWRP.

Having the same issue here. Flashed UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip but it says there's no binary. Enabled dev mode and root in CM12.1. Any ideas?
EDIT: Solved by installing the latest v2.46.

As you've discovered, v1.80 is very obsolete. Lollipop requires the latest version. I don't think a working root for LP was implemented in CuperSU until around v2.43 or thereabouts.

[Q] Lost Root

Running N910PVPU4DPC1 [http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/development/rom-t3352832]
It's been running fine for the past month or so, then yesterday, I went to run Titanium Backup, and it said my phone no longer had root access.
---------------------------------------------
SuperSU
There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. There is a problem!
If you just upgraded to Android 5.0, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!
---------------------------------------------
I've tried to re-root via CF-Auto-Root, it'll complete without error, but still no root access.
Anyway I can get root back without blowing out and starting from scratch?
If you have recovery just flash SuperSU itself.

Thanks for your reply SaintZ93.
Just tried that via https://download.chainfire.eu/921/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip
Uninstalled my previous version of SuperSU, booted to TWRP 3.0.2-0, no errors on install, fire up SuperSU, I get the same error message as before.
I was really hoping to get SU back with out having to go and reinstall everything. Doesn't look like it's going to work out that way.
Actually I just noticed the same thing, its quite weird, I lost root also. I had root working fine with PD1 now its gone.
I believe a security update was pushed, well at I know one was on my Sprint Note 4, and I think it auto installed that's what made me lost root.
I simply flashed supersu from TWRP and I had root again.
Don't know if this would help, but I turned off firmware updates on my phone and haven't had an issue for the last 3 days.
I think the update was pushed out on Tuesday or Wednesday because I noticed I didn't have root on Thursday.

I believe that the SuperSu that comes with that ROM is systemless, which you would need to flash SuperSu 2.68
I am in the same boat.

can I stall SUPERSU 2.68 with stock recovery? how?
I extracted the 2.68 zip but can I install without a custom recovery?
