smashing! sounds awesome! I'm currently using Bubor's CM11, may give it a shot with this one. Any other bugs on your side mate? Excluding of course Skype, Voip, camera issues... I would like to try it as it seems to be a cool ROM, just making sure if anything else has been giving you issues... :fingers-crossed:
Haven't noticed any bugs yet.. try it out and report any bugs u find.... Happy flashing...

Will do mate! Thanks for this btw  I will be letting you know later today. In other note, same procedure as in Bubor's ROMS? Meaning, install from stock, using the latest TWRP correct?
Don't need to install stock before installing this one...

Great thanks. I will try it from stock just to be safe... Another question, sorry to bother so much, how's the battery life doing for this ROM? I am really looking forward to try it out and about the superuser, is it updated? I ask since the ROM I'm currently using (CM11) has the superuser under settings, however, apps like Titanium backup state that the repository is outdated.

Working smoothly! But can you update to latest cm source it fixes WiFi indicators not showing up
@stormdude124 will be updating very soon...
Flashed it yesterday, did it from stock just to be safe. So far so good. Had the same issue with broadcast messages, even if they were all off they kept coming up. However, I did what worked for me before using Link2SD and freezing the system app for broadcast messages. So far my only concern is RAM usage... It is never below 70%, when in Bubor's was usually between 50/60%. I uninstalled Google + & Gmail as they came in as system apps, and I was not able to Greenify them or anything. Downloaded them again now RAM is a little below 70%. But still not convinced with the performance, I'll see which other apps are doing this to fix my issue. Haven't been able to play games yet, I like all the available customizations, using Trebuchet launcher as I did not like Google launcher, there are no customizations at all ... Ok Google works perfectly, however I turned it off as my notifications during using it (speaking to the phone) were disorted. Pocket function worked fine, disabled it though, I believe it will cost some battery ... Will be checking over everything else today and will let you know... Thing I have encountered was mobile data not working, I believe it is an APN issue, but it was working good before, will get to work on that later. Overall, it has been a good ROM, I hope you keep up the great work and get us some future updates :highfive:
Do you guys have a working mobile data??? Never mind, APN setting issue as suspected. Solved :victory:
New download on the main thread =D Could you inform what changes does it have? :fingers-crossed:

Great, I assume it is safe to flash it on top of the current one:fingers-crossed:... Yeah I am aware of the Tiny alsa fix, but it will dissort my normal phone calls, or so I read:crying:

my normal phone calls haven't been distorted in tiny alsa at least in my network.....try it out....if u don't like it or if it causes any distortions in normal call disable it

You are awesome mate! Thanks for the info BTW. I will download the new update tonight and will try Tiny fix as well. Many many thanks for your work. In other note you were right regarding battery usage, it has been the same as in Bubor's ROM so far. I kind of have a problem with the Halo though since I have BBM, CleanMaster & 360 Security, they have a constant bar in the notification panel, & Halo keeps popping them up all of the time... What's the difference in Halo configuration for white list & black list? I'm asking as I do not see any actual blacklist over the configurations for Halo

I will be updating this as often as possible.
This thread is designed ONLY for the support of the T-999(V) Liquid Smooth rom.
For latest AOSP builds to flash you need to be on latest bootloader of d2tmo: T999UVDLJA, T999UVDLJC, T999UVDMD5 & T999VVLDLL1 for it to boot. In order to have the latest boot loader you need to update via ODIN or Over The Air. Here is CyanogenMOD stating so. YOU CAN CHECK WHICH BOOTLOADER YOURE ON BY DOWNLOADING TERMINAL EMULATOR FROM THE PLAY STORE AND ENTERING THESE THINGS:
su(ENTER)
getprop ro.bootloader(enter) edited from phone so excuse the errors and code usage
THIS THREAD IS NOT CREATED by The Liquid Team.
This thread is designed to help keep the dev thread clean and clear for the dev's to do their magic. So please, feel free to ask any questions about the ROM, but trolling and flaming will not give great results and will be reported. If you ignore to read this OP & 2nd post and ask questions that have been answered I most likely will ignore you, or be rude haha. Keep up to date with the ROM/recovery, meaning install the latest version of the ROM/and your recovery before reporting anything.

Post your findings/fixes with your install procedure (what did you wipe, or no wipe at all), along with your Recovery version, your kernel and any mods you may have installed (most likely will be the issue at hand).
I'm not responsible nor are the Devs, for what to you do to your phones... go cry somewhere else.
If you want sympathy go look it up in the dictionary, it's between s**t and syphillis.
ACTUAL Q&A
Remember these guys take a lot of time out of their lives to do all this for free. They build the rom the way they want it, and they use it too. Be respectful, if you don't like the way it is or what they chose, then move on and use what you prefer.
Here is the Q&A part.
I am having troubles installing the Liquid Illusion rom: INSTALL PROCESS
Boot into recovery: From Power off
-Volume UP & Home button & Power Button at the same time! Hold until little vibrate and Blue text in top left corner, now you can release.
-wipe data\factory reset, cache, system.
-Install ROM
-Install GAPPS (Google APPS) Latest 13, Mar 01
-Boot & let sit for 5 minutes (lets cache and scripts run)
-Sign in to Google and if Restoring I feel it's best to let it sit and install all those apps before messing with the phone.
-Enjoy, or how some say it "PROFIT"
If dirty flashing from this rom and OP does not require a Dirty Flash
The recommended upgrade procedure should be:
-Backup/Nandroid - Optional
-Format /System - Should be automatically done
-Wipe cache
-Wipe Dalvik cache
-Install ROM
-Install GAPPS
-Reboot System
List of features
If they aren't new then... cool story lol. I'm gonna be so mad if the base changes again MIKE!!!!!!
Here is stuff for xposed settings and dpi and what not. I dont use any of this at all, but most like and love to tinker so I will leave it here for you guys.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Nightlys will have their own issues probably, and always. Now most common one is flickering, try a custom kernel that is built after 4-19.
In interface.
Notification img in landscape can be changed
Transparency can be adjusted to your liking
Notification shortcuts can be added from 4-16 of them
Recent Rambar is customizable
Vibration Multiplier is now here, able to lower/raise haptic feedback of capacitive buttons natively.
Lockscreen
Buttons this will allow while on the lock screen to hold one of the capacitive/physical buttons to complete an action ie: torch, or skip track.
a bunch of widget options for the lockscreen
change the transperency of the lock screen
Lock screen shortcuts
Have the option to have up to 8 targets in lockscreen slider
instead of just tapping on the lockscreen shorcuts you can set it to long press to open those.
PowerWidget is like the toggle mod in TouchWiz or older builds of AOSP
Quicksettings/4.2 Tiles
You can disable it altogether
Quick pulldown is the option to pull from left or right corners to immediately jump into quicksettngs
Tiles and Layout hold all the options availale
SatusBar
Brightness control (must have auto brightness unchecked) allows you to slide your finger left to right accross the status bar to adjust brightness extremely handy with this display vs sun light lol
Notification count, it shows a little blue number next to a notification if you have multiple ones.
Then you have your clock options (right and center) Battery icons, clock and date looks and such.
then color of the satus bar is changeable as well, all colors available (pretty much). You can change the transparency for launcher, launcher & Lockscreen, or all in all everywhere.
Display
CRT Screen options for on and off, off looks realy nice like a slight subtle dim.
Notification Light options are in here if you are new to CM LED.
Accessibility
I add this cause it is overlooked a lot.
magnification gestures (Takes three taps).
Large text optoin for those Gramps & Grams.
Power Button to end a call.
Home button answers a call.
Developer Options
Change transmissions/animations to .5 for warp speed.
kill app via back button.
NOW FOR SYSTEM APPS
Messaging
Group messaging is available (yes like the iPhone).
Privacy mode (obvious what that does).
Shop popup for incoming texts and quick reply is available.
One of those sought out features of making a call by putting phone to face while in the text thread of the party you wish to call, is available via Direct Call.
Messaging font size.
Currently Known bugs, work arounds, and suggestions/tips.
-A2DP (streaming music and phone calls) its fixed with 4.2.2 except for a couple of unhappy users.
-Video calls (Skype, Google Hangouts, Tango) Mixed reviews, sorry. I had low audio, some report that all is great though.
-Camera works all in all but NO PHOTOSPHERE. While taking an image with flash the image will show without flash, but it saves normally.
-Picasa sync does not work
Install this to have it work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=larry.zou.colorfullife&hl=en
-Getting an error reading "cannot read /data/xposed/modules.whitelist", you need to go to System settings>Interface>DPI Installer>Install. It will stop the popup.
-CMFileExplorer http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1451113&d=1351866036
(with this app, go to settings>general settings>access mode>select root access mode> go back to main page get root by pressing "parent folder" over and over til you can't no more.)
-Battery!!!!!!
It will improve as the days go by, or get worse depending on what you do, NO one can tell how good battery is until at least 2 charges, so don't ask "how is battery" 6 hours after it is uploaded. Battery varies for every person, I don't play many games on my phone, Bike Race is the only one. I get 4 hours on screen time, and 12 hours of use. With MY light usage I get 1 day 16 hours with 2.5-3 hours screen on time. Everyone will have different results with their phones setup differently.
-Screen shot is done by Volume down and Power! Or by "power menu" settings>rom control>power menu>Select "Show ScreenShot" hold power button to view.
-"I don't see a 4g/H symbol" You may need to flash the latest radio from here to see it, you are getting your normal speeds regardless though. Here is the link to flashable modem List - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860592
-Working Hex colors for notification light http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890774
white, green, neon lime, blue, Samsung blue, Light blue/Cyan, red, yellow, orange, pink, pinksih, red-pink, purple. Look in the link for the Color code.
-THIS IS a Liquid rom with mods and CherryPicks from CM/AOKP and such!! SOME CM THINGS WILL NOT BE IN HERE, OTHERS WILL, it is the Devs' rom they will do to it as they please, but they do take requests just make sure it hasn't been asked for already, respect.
For the FUN and Customization stuff, some new some old.
all in settings

-Set custom carrier label

Here are some alternate kernels or OC/UV and some mods too.(OverClock and UnderVolt)
These are not supported by the Dev (although he does like Ktoonsez! I like it too mostly for the option to lower Haptic Feedback.) If you are going to report something make sure you state what kernel you are on to help us out.

Will have some bugs though, tap screen to focus before taking a photo or it may crash on you.
4.2 AOSP Modded Camera http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746611
it has some features like color selection (greens only, or red only) Wide angle shots...

Not really question but a list of some apps that are not playing nice with aokp build.
1.)Starbucks official card as well as "my Starbucks card" bar code shows is in landscape mode while in portrait no way to switch it around so useless to scan your orders
*solution: use your plastic card, use another smart device like tab, another phone or device like iPod touch etc.
2.)Pandora radio sometimes gets stuck on the station so you can not change station. Also you can not add a new station
*solution either wait or close out Pandora then reopen the app and you should be able to change station
*to change station do so on another device like PC, phone tablet etc.
Have no idea if this is specific to this ROM aokp(Pandora had same issue with cm10 base) or if this is just typical of 4.2.1 itself

Just noticed that with the Starbucks a lot of apps are forced into going into landscape mode some can handle it well and others can't like the Starbucks apps mentioned above

ummmm sound quality issues? any fixes im running tmo gs3 and the sound quality went down.. also did you include an ota updater if so i dont see it as an app..dont get me wrong this is the best rom as far as aokp and cm based roms ive ran. but ive been using frosty for so long wanted something new.
Re: [Q&A] Illusion ROM
Got a folder question. It's super annoying. Here's the scenario. Downloaded some music in a zip file. Extract it and in my music apps it has each song listed 2x. Looks like one is in my 0/ folder and the other in my legacy/ folder. If I delete either one. It deletes both. How do I avoid the linking of the 2 folders?

Re: [Q&A] Illusion ROM
I think the external speaker is still something in the works within coding. I use headphones daily and they still same the same to me doesn't matter what ROM I use. I always remove any "sound mods" in any ROM I try.
As for the folder issue, I haven't a clue. Remove all of them and save them to your computer and transfer them over and place on external. That's what I do and have no issues at all.

There aren't any in this ROM besides DSP and music fix I believe but I havent touched those. External speaker is the way it is until AOSP code is 100% complete. Its distorted at its loudest it seems to me. I never have my phone set to max.

RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP,CM, and Paranoid Android features; with some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs, but this ROM is working well enough to be called a daily driver. Thanks for flashing and please report any issues, logs, complaints, wanted additions, or anything within reason ( while following XDA rules)... Enjoy

Known Issues
these "fixes" are only necessary if you are experiencing problems
if experiencing mms issues try this:
MMS confirmed working for a few in IRC.. send receive should work now if you're lucky and can follow directions.
1. Delete telephony.db located at /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db ...Open ES File Explorer > Press the menu button > Settings > Scroll to the bottom > Make sure "Root Explorer" is checked > Click "OK" > navigate to the directory starting from "/" (you could prob do this with the CM file explorer too)
2. Delete messaging Data...From home screen > Press menu button > Manage Apps > "All" tab > Find Messaging > Press "Clear data" button
3. Reboot. Clear cache if you want.
GPS issues:
go back to stock rom or a stock based rom ( a back up is sufficient )
Get a GPS lock and keep it for a few minutes ( make certain you are getting a lock from GPS and not your network or WiFi )
Flash back to ROOTBOX
That should solve any GPS problems
Battery drain issues:
if your experiencing major battery drain there are a few things you can try i will list a few here....
turn wifi, gps, bluetotth, and sync off when not using it
turn auto-brightness off and adjust it to your liking
lower sceen time-out to 15 or 30 seconds
try installing an app like greenify or batteryguru that will shut down apps that are running in the background
try changing your govenor from performance to powersave with an app like faux enhancement or trickstermod
try lowering your max freq. from 15+ to something a little lower
turn things like daydream off if you dont use it
try using wifi more often if able 3g/mobile data will suck the battery dry in no time
try looking in task manager to see if you have rouge apps hanging out.. if you do stop them
Try flashing smoocha kernel can find it in the android development section for this phone
these in no way are guaranteed to get you more life but they are a start to getting better life..hell it cant hurt only make it better
Camera focus issues:
Double tap instead of single tap
Switch to a different mode then back..(switch to HDR then back, switch to panorama then back)
Try the script method posted below
Try a third party camera app
Or try this: a quick hack work-around to anyone who has auto-focus working but only for the 1st app launch.
using smanager
* Install and launch smanager
* Make a new script with this in it
killall mm-qcamera-daemon
killall com.android.gallery3d
am force-stop os.tools.scriptmanager
am start -n com.android.gallery3d/com.android.camera.CameraLauncher
* Click on the script. Set it as "favorite" and highlight "SU". Save
* Add a shortcut on launcher. Select SMShortcuts.
* Select Add one script shortcut. Pick your script. Change the name/image to whatever you want.
* Hit OK and profit.
Need to thank sputnikk23 & prowlingfox for this workaround
or try with tasker method

To do this, In Tasker:
Create a new Task called "Load Camera".
Click the + sign.
Click on Script.
Click on Run Shell.
Paste the following into the Command section (note that the first line is missing - that's on purpose):
Code:
killall com.android.gallery3d
am force-stop os.tools.scriptmanager
am start -n com.android.gallery3d/com.android.camera.CameraLauncher
Check the box next to Use Root - not sure if this is needed or not, but it works fine if it's checked.
Click the Tasker icon in the top left of the screen to accept the changes for the shell command.
Click the Tasker icon in the top left of the screen again to accept the changes to the Task.
Click on the Profiles tab.
Click on the + sign.
I called my Profile "Load Camera"
Click on "Application".
Select Camera.
Click on the Tasker icon in the top left of the screen to accept the selection.
Click on the task that you created in the first steps to tie the profile to the task.
Enjoy....
Give it a shot and let me know if it doesn't work for you, but it works just great for me.

I used the banks minimal but as long as your using a current 4.2.2 gapps I think you'll be good... But I'm not a frequent rootbox user so whatever gapps people were using in rlasalle'$ thread should apply here... today is actually the longest I've been on rb
I was on RB before switching to your AOKP.... Now I gotta decide whether or not to switch back. Since I'm running a fresh 6/29 AOKP build, I may just backup and flash RB. Then I have both! YAY!

I know this issue has been said, but want to put it out there since this is a new thread. I still have the camera image stretched when not on HDR mode. Flashed RB w/Banks minimal.

Yeah that's an issue that's known and I believe the gang is working on it... you can more or less conclude that this ROM will have all of the same bugs that all of our aosp ROMs have.... We are all building from teamlgog source... Except for the kernel in this rom..... which syn is a listed member in teamlgog's Github so in a way it's still using their source for that as well..... In short it is being looked into though I can't exactly speak for them since I'm not a member... but if anything gets fixed it will be included

Has anyone encountered no LED and no hardware key backlight? I can seem to get them working. Check MD5 on the file and it checks out. Full wipe before install. Aside from that Ioving this ROM.

Yes the above is overkill, but if you are experiencing an sort of problems this should be your first step before posting bug reports.
I am ocd when it comes to wiping clean and restore very little between ROMs, and it is super rare that I have any issues.
speaking of bug reports....
How To Submit a Bug Report in a Developer Forum
Before You Press Submit...
Make sure you can reproduce the bug on a clean flash (yes clean like above)
Make sure you meet all requirements for ROM (very little for this one)
Capture any log possible of event, Aroma log and logcat specifically (explained below)
Post as much detail as you can along with the log (pastebin or .txt or code wraps)
List all info on your bootloader screen
Anything else you can think of that may be causing your problem (that rouge app you installed, when you dropped your phone in the bath, when you through it at the beehive outside school)
And of course know that I'm not being a ****, I want to help you, and I want you to enjoy this ROM. I just need good information to make sure you are problem free!

Logcatting Like A PRO!
Simple way, download app from market... but not as helpful
What your after is more than just
Code:
adb logcat myproblem.txt
This is nice but something more helpful
Code:
adb shell dmesg ; adb logcat -b system -b radio -b events -b main
:good:
also if there was a reboot or something to this extent
Code:
adb shell cat /proc/last_kmsg > kmsg.txt
Here are some more tips if your unsure
Being I am here to help I don't mind you asking, "Hey this happened and I would like to help find out why, can you help me get a log? etc... etc..."

Common Q & As...
Q. What is that bar on the bottom? How do I get rid of it or change it?
A. Probably referring to the navigation bar, this is found under settings> CyanMobile settings> Interface> Interface tweaks> Navbar tweaks.
Q. Getting annoyed with the boot sound! How do I remove it or change it?
A. CyanMobile settings> Performance Enable boot sound. Or CyanMobile settings> Interface> Choose/Restore bootsound
Q. Ummm... There's no root access for adb... Why?
A. Its off by default, go to Settings> Development> Root access and take your pick.
Q. So I just choose xxx splash screen in Aroma, I don't like it, I don't like the others, how do i get original back?
A. Either flash your original through fastboot or If you want I have another Aroma installer with over 40 more choices including both the G2 and DZ original splash screens Located Here
Q. Just flashed this ROM and saw the bootanimation just run for like 10 minuets... Fix this please!
A. This has been happening with some builds and it depends on what modification you choose in aroma. The ROM will always boot after the initial run through.
Simply plug in phone to computer and it will reboot and go strait to ROM (or reboot otherwise) This is a bug I'm tracking down, just know after first boot there is no issue here.

Hmmm, I've flashed and tested a dozen times with this zip, so very strange. Check md5sum for bad download and if possible can you save and upload recovery log from aroma here?
First boot does seem to take 3-5 min (30 seconds or so for next boot) only other thing I can think of is your bootloader, haven't checked the partition size to see if it will fit on the g2 bootloader.
I'll look into this when I get home myself, and all feedback is appreciated, although there aren't many issues I can find (but yes a couple fixes still need to be applied) this should be a daily driver for most and will be for sure soon enough!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
EDIT:
This ROM is even smaller than I thought! you can for sure use the G2 hboot so this isnt your issue
see if adb is working when trying to boot, if so grab a logcat
also the aroma log would help (try flashing just ROM and gapps)

Very cool Rom! Only one problem so far, I have no home button. Doesn't work in nav bar, pie, or physical button.
Almost have it set up the way I want it. Thank you, been looking for something new.

This is the second strange bug report...
If you could get me a logcat I would be much appreciative as it will be the only way I can track this down and fix as I haven't had this issue before
I do appreciate all bug reports as with as many options this ROM has it is not easy to test all (but home button does work fine on my end )
To anyone else reporting bugs or general findings, thank you!
But I do require as much info as possible about a bug, logcats are very needed!
And yes I have a new build almost ready with some needed fixes, my internet seems to be at its slowest tonight so it may have to wait until morning
Happy Flashing!
EDIT:
I have not tested fully the enhanced key mapping, if you selected this in aroma then flash aroma again, don't flash ROM, just choose mods and return to normal key mapping and see if this fixes your issue
lets get some screenshots up in here! sounds great!

i find the JB roms to be a little sluggish compared to the Gingerbread i have on another desire z.
I was wondering if someone could tell me what im missing with JB or ICS if i were to go back to GB...
someone persuade me. lol
HAHA, just flash this ROM and you wont be missing a thing!
ok thats not true... :crying:
There are some apps that just will not work unless you have an api of 14 or higher (4.x)
the ui is cleaner 4.x and up, but lots of this is changed with a new launcher
... really off the top of my head cant think of much more, im sure there is though...
anyway new build should be up in about half an hour with some bug fixes, i suggest to wait for this, will be 1.0.3
still a few more bugs to hash out but my internet is being **** and i need some sleep so they will have to wait!
Happy Flashing!

This is the navbar, I will turn it off by default in next build as I'm finding it annoying to
Go to cyanmobile settings
Interface
Interface tweaks
Navbar tweaks, and then disable
When you do this wait 20 seconds for ui to reset, then you will see pie is enabled, if you don't like pie then scroll over in settings and disable it
There really are a ton of settings here so I'm not surprised if it takes people a while to find all options, it did for me!

Does anyone have continuous "Please unplug charger" notification when battery is fully charged? I have it, it doesn't matter is charger plugged or not but notification reappears every 30 seconds and it doesn't matter is a screen on or off. Logcat in attachment.
Workaround is to disable "Battery full alert".

Just kidding, I've been working on this one, I keep getting build errors while trying to fix it the proper way but if it takes me much longer I'll just have it disabled by default in the next build until I get it fixed proper like

Awesome rom! My new DD, took me a good 2 hours to go through all the settings and get everything just the way I wanted. Loving (LOVING) all of the options. Was looking for semi status and pull down, this delivers. Showing much more ram usage then ilwt but it runs faster / smoother (in my opinion, and unused ram is ram that's being wasted! Hehe) anyways, I'm very impressed, changed the colors and installed a jb skin and I'm very happy. Couple questions.
I can't seem to answer my phone heh, there is no button or bar to move and I miss the call pawing at the screen trying to answer it heh. And I noticed there were adjust app permissions as one of the options, but how do I actually change them? Id love similar functionality to pdroid (perhaps someone can release a pdroid patched version?) Thanks for putting this out, very impressed.

Yeah, I personally owe him a lot as his builds from philz touch has been on my phone for a long time without seeing any rival close to.
Out of all of the new ROMs that has been popping up on the forums recently, this is, so far, my most favorite, and most stable one so far. This ROM is FAST, and I know that's subjectively speaking, but I feel as though this ROM is blazing. And so far, it feels amazing with stability as well; have yet to run into any hiccups or lag yet. Gonna run this for a while and see how it ages! Thanks again, @JustinXu. You are based God.

If you're referring to stock LG 4.1.2 ROM, not as good because custom AOSP ROMs just don't compare to stock ROMs. But its not bad at all to say the least. Just give it a shot and see how it runs for you.
The sad thing is that i own a nexus 4 and my GF a OG. kills me see my gf still in V10d. Its sad, and also insecure.

If you want a truly stable experience, I'd say go for a custom 4.1.2 ROM, MAYBE even 4.4.2. AOSP is stable usually, but it does have its quirks from time to time. Since your GF isn't a power user, it might be the best idea to put her on a stock LG ROM for the least amount of bugs.

Screen flickering is in all lollipop ROMs from what I can tell. I'd be lying if I told you I've flashed it and fully tested. I cannot switch ROMs as fast as I am building them right now. But choices are important to me, so I provide them for you all
You can always attempt to minimize it through dev settings by disabling HW overlays. I've had good results with that, but Snapchat and Trivia Crack do not play very nicely
I hate buggy ROMs too. Stay away from Paranoid for now. It's very underdone, at least the last build is. Of course that's also why it isn't released yet

After catching up and playing with the other lp roms a couple of days ago, I flashed this and have been enjoying it since. It's a bit lighter than some of the other roms and seems just as stable as bs so far. Both bs and cr ran better for me than the latest bliss 1.9, which had some funkiness with vibrations and fcs.
One funky thing regarding the comment about not using TiBackup to restore with this rom from the op...I said eff it and tried it anyway since Ti just updated compatibility for lp roms...half of my apps won't restore, even though they restore just fine on other lp roms. Oh well...Maybe there is something to cr not being friendly with Ti after all

sorry if this should be a dm and not cluttering this thread, but would you mind posting your local_manifest.xml for building this rom? i haven't tried building any lp roms and since you've been successfully building them, figure it might save me some time if i get around to updating my build env. for lp. and are you using the caf repos? i just noticed that cyanogen totally reworked the caf repos with "new" forks...i've been away from building for too long!

Local_manifest.xml... isn't that what users do for automated building per device? If so I set each one up on my own by doing some good ol' git clones and such. I'll dm you my steps if you'd like, I don't want to totally debunk this thread with a wall of text or whatever, but that question isn't an issue... no worries

ok, now i'm really derailing this thread, but i want to leave this here in case others find it useful in the future...
the local_manifest.xml/roomservice.xml is usually what folks use to tell repo which repositories to copy to your computer so that you don't have to git clone each one individually. see here for details: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_Using_manifests#The_local_manifest
by default, cm, and some of the other roms based on cm, now use a .dependencies json file, which is automatically parsed to create your local_manifest.xml inside the [buildroot]/.repo/local_manifests/ directory. so if you go into one of your build directories and navigate to .repo/local_manifests/, you should find an xml file there that specifies which additional repositories are used (e.g., caf based repos). if you want to pm me your setup, that works for me since your local_manifest.xml might not be setup correctly if you were manually overriding the build directories with git clones.
anyway, i highly recommend making use of the local manifests! it will make it much easier to build different roms with minimal setup time. you just clone the base repository, create your .repo/local_manifests/ directory, copy the local_manifest.xml (or roomservice.xml...same thing) over, and then repo sync and you should be ready to build. if you are using custom repositories, for example a custom kernel, you can specify that directly in the local_manifest with something like this:
<project path="kernel/lge/gproj" name="Snepsts/kernel_e980" remote="github" revision="cm-12.0" />
