Thanks, I'll rework the data structure tomorrow if I get time, it isn't made that brilliant for multiple devices. I just made a quick solution because @ak asked for Nexus 4 support, and of course it should be available to everyone
Any way to parse the md5s to show in-app for those that have them? Would be so handy.
Edit: Having issues with Carbon downloads too. It just downloads a 23kB html file instead.

I'll take a look at it, I've noticed some trouble with Carbon's download page before.
Still reworking the data structure, it's taking a bit longer than expected.
As soon as it's done and I've created a management interface I'll add a lot more roms/kernels to all the nexus devices
The new version is now live (data restructured, more devices)
The following devices is supported: flo, grouper, hammerhead, maguro, mako, toro, toroplus
I've added the "big guys" ..but let me know if your missing any roms/kernels/gapps
I'm looking into getting the md5-sum - but it's a bit tricky because everyone locate it different places

For now. I haven't found a solution to it yet, and I'd rather leave it out than have broken links as you spotted (23kb html files)
I can give you a quick example, if you select the first download in the list it works:
https://carbon-rom.com/downloads/?device=maguro&type=nightly
But if you refer directly to the download it doesn't work
https://us1.dl.carbon-rom.com/files/maguro/nightly/CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20140320-0442-maguro.zip
It has something to do with either host header or referral.
If it should work I have to parse all download links through and "cheat" the host - right now I'm just linking directly to the downloads.
I'll of course look into it

I was at least using it to easily check for nightlies but I definitely get not wanting something broken included.
Thanks! Awesome work!
P.S. What about not spoofing at all, and just opening a browser frame to the Carbon downloads page so that the followed links are still in the browser and therefore from their site?

The only thing in the pipeline is to get Carbon to work. I won't add more roms/devices unless it's requested.. would take ages to go through all the device threads and what good would it do if no one is using the downloads anyway
@osm0sis CarbonRom is now added to all supported devices
New Category "Recovery" has been added, a quick and easy way to download the latest TWRP (looking into adding CWM also)

It based on CM RC1,and built with PatchRom and havent got any serious trouble,it got full English interfaceInstruction(U need root):
1)install Rom manager
2)In rom manager choose install ClokckworkMod then choose our model (e730)=>waiting for download (need internet connection) => allowed root to this app=>then application will install Recovery: ClokckworkMod
3)Download custom MIUI and put it on the SDcard
4)open Rom manager and choose load Recovery, the phone will reboot in recovery mode (use +/- to move in the list and power button to apply)
5)making backup
6)choose wipe data and yes, then wipe cache partition and yes,and then advanced and wipe dalvik Cache
7)choose install zip from sdcard then choose zip from sdcard and choose downloaded custom MIUI
8)after installing choose reboot system now,and enjoy the MIUI from Russia
For themes to work u must create a folder /data/system/theme
Here you can download my MIUI with a little changes by MysteryEmotionz
p.s. mysteryemotionz trying to assign our Russian ROM to his "Android Creative Syndicate" and he just set beta status to my rom,it is very funny, case he just make a little changes for a hour, and now saing "However, we have put many hours into the development of MIUI, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Your generosity - if you feel like showing it - is deeply appreciated.".He never develop this MIUI,he just take our ROM,which we delelop for a month, and make some changes, like changing device name from e739 to 730,and now he think, that he is very cool developer, its not a true.In my country it names stealing. But If you want to get real fix and real beta/stable,stay in my topic.
LEWA OS
Another custom rom names LEWA OS,you can read about it there http://www.lewaos.com/
To install this rom take instruction from MIUI
=> Downloading
And you will need gapps,to lunch googleplay (only for LEWA OS)screenshots:
Test this CUSTOMS and post your feelings about it
p.s. dont forget about thanks meter
coming soon
Can you send it to me?
Maybe i can upload it
Btw, the e730 is ALMOST exactly like the e739, any chance this will work on it?

Hi guys!
I'm just wanting to show an idea I've been developing. Has there ever yet been such a thing as an online automatic kernel repacker? Where you can just upload the source boot.img and the new kernel boot.img and it will repack the two and provide you with a link?
Well... I couldn't find one, so I've made one!
I've designed it to be very simple and easy to use, with instructions included. If enough people like the idea I'll try and see about getting it onto a more permanent home.
Repacked kernels will be added as I am able to test them, and can be found on the Resources page. If you have any particular requests, please post them here and I'll repack and add them to the list if I can.
Also, if you've repacked a kernel using this site and have tested it successfully on your device, can you please post on here with the name of the ROM, Kernel and the Unix time code (the 10 digit number) from the download link. This will allow me to add it to the list of pre-packaged kernels for future users.
Update: The Kernel Re-packer has now been uploaded to it's new home - a dedicated Linux server. You should be able to upload/download kernels much faster now, as the server I'm using has a 1GB/s connection :victory:. Upload times should now be limited only by your own bandwidth, enjoy!
Please thank or donate if this has been useful to you. Also feel free to leave feedback, comments, requests, ideas, complaints or anything else below!
Thanks guys
- I'm a bit of a newbie in Android development... so please forgive me if anything I've done or written is wrong, I have a fair bit of computer/website/programming experience and I'm trying to expand into the droid universe.
Changelog:
- Everything now moved across to a new server with 1GB/s bandwidth
- Added error page to display if files are uploaded incorrectly
- Added status display to let you know when the files are uploading
- Fixed first glitch: "Not Found" error
- Added more to the description to make the process easier to understand
- Tested a couple more kernels, added to "Resources Page"
Tested ROMS:
- Cyanogen 10
- Android Revolution HD
Todo:
- Redesign site appearance
- Add more pre-packed images as they are tested
Note: I'll likely make it look prettier in the future too, I didn't consider that all too important till I know if people will use it .
Great work, What about add "recent re-packed" to help NOOB people ?
Thank you

Under "resources" you can find a couple of ones I've already repacked... although I realize the title of that page probably doesn't make it clear .
I plan on adding lots more to that list when I'm on a faster server, this method allows me to repack kernels very quickly - it only takes a couple of clicks and a few seconds at my end .

Ah, sorry about that!
How long did it take for your upload to go through? I'm fairly sure this issue occurs when the php session times out before you get as far as the download.
I've extended the session length and tweaked a couple of other bits, it shouldn't do that anymore, but I'll get a couple of people to test at my end .
What do you think of the idea in general?

Please report back if this works for you - if you include the unix time code (the 10 digit number in the download link) along with the ROM name and Kernel name then I can add your boot image to the list of repacked kernels.
Thanks! :good:

I haven't actually tested it on my One X yet; I thought that seen as most people would be flashing the roms from their computers that would be where they would be viewing it from .
I'll have a look in a moment.
Apologies for any connection issues, multiple concurrent uploads and downloads appear to be putting a bit of strain on my poor router. The sooner I get this on a dedicated server the better!

Right, I'm afraid I'm having to temporarily turn the site off for the moment as all the downloads/uploads are constantly crashing my interwebs. I'm looking into getting this onto a dedicated server ASAP, maybe as soon as tomorrow if I find the right one .
In the mean time, if you'd like anything repacked please feel free to request it here and give me a link to the files and I'll be happy to repack it at my end.

The google now is part of gapps. i suggest you use the 7/26 version from goo as i know it shows up with those. there are definatley gapps out there that do not include google now.
this is why we have mainly had people use whatever so we could make sure we point people in right direction when we release officially
The gapps I flashed on the download page for Sourcery gave me the error message when I tried to install GMaps. Hopefully it works now. I'll check it out.
Oh, and the upgrade should take care of the constant rebooting?

Oh no! Why am I not able to install GMaps on this rom??
might be an older version. Delete Gmaps
reboot and ten download from play store.

Looks good! Thank You
Please report any crazy bugs, like doesnt boot, no data, stuff like that. Most other things we are aware of, thanks.
I'm glad to see Slim is back and up with 4.2. I am curious as to the stability of this, and if GPS works. Every time I check the bugs list I only see the 2 bugs. Just curious if this is good for a daily driver yet. I am currently on CM 10.1 nightlies.
Been a fan Still a fan
I can't wait to give this a spin, I love the sleekness of Slim Roms!
im sure this is because its a beta rom but the settings list is missing a lot of stuff like developers option and such?
....edit....been on this rom for about an hour no problems whatsoever and its seems like great battery life

No, tap "Build Number" in about phone 7 times to make this feature show. Its hidden by default in 4.2

developer options were hidden in the 4.2 update so noobs didnt mess their phones up. If you got to settings>about phone and you tap/hold the build number( i think it was build number) it should enable developer options

This is incredibly fast and smooth -- thanks for sharing, cordell12! One question, this also has the phantom VM problem -- do you have a phone.apk that fixes it?

Good. It's all OK but the camera. It's a bit too dark. Can I ask you to apply stock camera patch? It can be found in jollaman999 and loller79 github.

Awesome! Now that you're cherry picking, will you cherry pick stock wifi driver from jollaman sources too?
It's newer and brings less battery use and better speed.
Will next version be with android 5.1?
I can't see the screenshots and the page is to slow. Don't charge

Edit: tested. I think the camera is pretty good. No need to add anything
Overally , the ROM is nice, smooth and stable. I'll stay on this and wait for your creative modifications like what you had on kitkat thanks.

It opens for me. Seems they've banned European IPs in order to stop the DDOS attacks. I mirrored the latest 6.1.5 for you. I'll remove the link once the website gets OK.
Link removed as the site got ok.
