Follows my contribution to safestrap menu. Same concept with background variations.
Original size here.
To change safestrap menu:
> Root access in "File Manager" (look for in settings);
> Choice the image and rename it to "background-def.png";
> Go to: "system\bootstrap\images" and overwrite the image;
> Just reboot and see! :highfive:

Excelent!

Thought I'd throw something into the mix. I can't really take much credit for this, it's basically the design @Saturnal posted, with the updated Moto logo and the all important "+" for those of us with a Defy Plus. Excuse the drunken photoshopping, might actually contribute something worthwhile at a later date.

Damn nice. And damn, that it makes me want to have it as a boot logo

So.. Something is amiss.. Saved every image from @Saturnal and they seem to be in .jpeg not .PNG.. Tried converting to png on my PC but then the image shown no bigger than 5x3mm in boot. What am i doing wrong? Can i use it as background-def.jpeg?
Edit: solved the issue by using easy image reziser for android.

【China-gfan】59 collection of battery icon!

This is my collection of battery icon,Please download it in any way.Thanks.
I'm from China,with Galaxy S2
In fact,Chinese can't access to many online file services.So this uploading took me along time,not easy.
I've update my link:http://www.multiupload.com/M69ZK51VOM
Finally,how to use these?
First,you must confirm that battery status is 1%;
Next,connect your phone to PC,select "Connect USB storage",then enter system\framework and copy "framework-res.apk"to your PC;
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And then,rename .apk to .rar then right click"framework-res.rar"then extract it with WinRARDIf you have already install it in your PC!)
Then enter framework-res\res\drawable-hdpi,wait
Now hold"Ctrl”and use your mouse select"stat_sys_battery_0.png" to "stat_sys_battery_100.png",total 101 pictures which from your sources folder
Copy all of them to the destination,replace older files like these
When you finish doing that,bact to Desktop,find folder"framework-res",then use WinRAR to compress it to a .APK file!
Remember the"Archive Name" is end with .APK!And "Compression method" is "Store"
The last step!!!!!Modify the attribution of this apk!Its attribution is
"rw-r--r--"(Owner-Group-EveryOne)
Enjoy yourself now!!!!!!!
Welcome to my page:http://about.me/cicku

Hi!
Nice work!
Could you explain why is it important to have the battery status on 1% level? Does it mean, that if I do it with for example fully charged battery, the mod will not work?
Thanks in advance,

[Bootanimation] Windows Phone 7.5 inspired

Well i was out modding my ace to make it look as much like a windows phone as possible, but i couldn't find any satisfactory bootanimations, so a bit of elbow grease later i ended up with this. Figured i'd share it.
It's based on the windows phone 7.5., made it myself using powerpoint, so it's not that great, but i hope it's useful to anyone else out there
I assume you know how to use this, if not:
THIS IS NOT FLASHABLE!!
copy this file with any file explorer to system/media
change permissions to rw-r--r--
reboot and adore
Lol, unfortunately i cannot post images since this account is a newb, but you can find a screenie here imageshack.us/photo/my-images/220/boot.gif/

Great boot animation! I don't really care for the Windows 8 style boot animation. It's so plain....This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much. Now to make my friends jealous :victory:

[Bootanimation] KitKat 4.4 Full Loop

Actually what I made was already created here. I couldn't imagine that as many people were as maniac as me :laugh:
Hi everybody !
Since the last KitKat update, I quite enjoy the latest bootanimation. However, I wanted it to make a full circle (if you look closely one of the four color, it only makes two rotations)
So with the help of @overhauling (take a look at his thread and app, it's great !) I changed some of the files
How it was :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
How it is now :
How to install it ?
- Go to data/local and save your current bootanimation (in case you want to restore it one day)
- Replace it with the one I provide in this thread
- Set permissions rw-r--r--
- Reboot and enjoy !
Note : I won't be responsible in case you lost your phone or have a bootloop, make a nandroid backup before any changes
If you have found that useful, don't forget the
button
Currently i have the following files in local folder.
What is the bootanimation to back it up?

My bootanimation is in the local folder, so I never thought it could be elsewhere. I googled bootanimation to see where it could be to fix your problem. I'll soon make an update, you are right.

[Guide]Change rom logo in about phone

Hi,
This is a small (maybe) guide for changing rom logo in about phone (Settings).
Ok lets get started.
Requirements: x-plore file manager http://www.mediafire.com/download/zeckscfoy6c7zox/X-plore.apk
Any photo editor which can conver images into . Png format. ( i use pixler express)
Instructions:
1.First using photo editor convert the photo which u want to use. Make sure the resulution of that image is as low as possible.
2. copy the Settings.apk from system/priv-app to root folder of sdcard.
3. Open x-plore and browse for Settings you copied earlier in second tab (reffer screen shots in 2nd post)and long press on It and select open apk as zip.
4. Goto res/ and browse for the original rom logo and rename your image exactly as original logo.
5. Copy your image into the folder where original logo is.
6. Now you have to sign the moded Settings.apk for that open original Settings.apk as zip from system /priv-app, and copy the meta-inf and android mainfest.xml to moded Settings.apk.
7. Now push your Settings.apk into system /priv-app /Settings.
8 reboot.done
Please reffer to screen shots below for better understanding
