[Q] Flashing stock KitKat - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Hey everyone
So I am having a problem flashing KitKat to my phone.
I was on B120 CN and then flashed to CM10.1 and everthing has been great. Now I want to flash to Kitkat so I can test OmniRom 4.4.2.
So now I have flashed back to B120 CN stock but I can't seem to get it to update via dload/Update.APP
I am using the B118 Recovery so I am not sure if I have missed something and that I need a new KK recovery?
Any help is much appreciated

Try redownloading kk beta update.app

[Q] Downgrade from KK to B125

Hello everybody,
I have a problem while tring to downgrade from KK to B125. Whenever I try to flash B125 via stock recovery it stops at 'checklist module VERLIST ... FAILED'
Did I forget anything? What am I doing wrong?
Try flashing through force update (press power+volup+voldown to boot). If that doesn't work, redownload the file and try again.

I already did it that way - force update. And I don't think redownloading helps, because I know the files are okay, because I already used them before. But I will try that. Nobody knows, but sometimes it's strange.

First of All u should have stock recovery..
Then as u have stated if u cant downgrade to b125 then first do factory reset and then reflash the KITKAT firmware.
Now try to install b125......OK.
Hi!
From where should i download stock recovery ... ?
I am on KK firmware ... but cannot install B125
Any tutorial how to achieve that?
Thanks!
I made it working. The only thing I changed: copy the update.app via stock file manager to /dload on sdcard. The times before I used ES File Explorer.
No redownloading was necessary.

Did you already revert to stock?
If you did, which stock? B120? B125?

I'm using B120. I haven't yet reverted again but I will as soon as I know how to flash gapps.

So first revert to B120 with stock recovery.
After, flash TWRP recovery back.
Then download the gapps 4.22 zip from surdu's cyanogenmod instructions. Put it on sd card or internal storage, and install the zip using twrp. After this is done, reboot with working gapps.

Okay so I tried and it half worked. It only install gmail and google settings. Any idea?
Did you wipe dalvik cache? If it still doesn't work, try flashing other gapp zips from other roms (lightning kitkat, etc)
Btw which twrp are you on?

Yes I wiped the caches and I am using TWRP_R03.1.
I will download a different copy of gapps ASAP and test it.

Have you tried Freegee? It worked on the AT&T KK Rom. I installed CWM 6.0.4.7 from Freegee.

@lambstone, download appropriate kk kdz / tot file for your model and flash using flash tool. ☺

What if I've never flashed the stock LP rom at all? I started with KK and flashed a LP custom rom via CWM

@lambstone, that should be fine. In fact, flashing kdz or tot files is an easy way to return to stock. You just need to know the correct firmware version and should have your download mode working.
