[Q] official jelly bean 4.2 update for note 8.0 - Galaxy Note 8.0 (Tablet) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooti

I saw all over internet that every note 8.0 is updated to 4.2. But I have connected to kies and no update. I am in Korea and was wondering is it my note or here in Korea there they aren't still updating to jelly bean 4.2.....does any one have any information to this. I am really annoyed with the Samsung slow update. The whole world got 4.2 and I am still stuck with this old 4.1!
Is any one else having this update problem?
Thanks in advance.

Type in gt-n5110 in the search box and you can see if there is an update for your region. If not you can just flash other versions through Odin.

[Q] Can't OTA update to 4.2.2 after system reset

My Note 8 (N5110) did an OTA update to 4.2.2 one day. I thought this would a be a good time to do a reset on everything, so that's what I did.
However, the reset brought the note back to 4.1.2 and now when trying to update it says that I'm running the most up-to-date software. Does anyone know how to get around this? Do I need to delete a cache or something?
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.

When exactly do you think you got the 4.2.2 update? As far as I know (as of the evening of Friday, September 23rd) the GT-N5110 update has not been released officially. There are leaks for the 5110 & 4.2.2 versions for the N5120 (LTE), but not the GT-N5110 Wifi only Note 8.0.

Around 4 days ago. I recently bought it refurbished - it installed 2 firmware updates and then the 4.2.2 update.
Perhaps I imagined it.
Thank you for letting me know that nothing has been officially released.

HELP! Software upgrade issue

Hi, I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100. It based on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
I know the newer upgrades are available. But the problem is, why does my Galaxy Note II always show a dialog box telling that the latest update has been installed? Is there any way to solve the problem? Note: If possible, I want the update by using my Galaxy Note II only. Thank you
thats the latest for n7100...
4.3 are only leaked firmware and still in development.. so we need to wait till its been officially released by samsung for OTA upgrade.
