CM-11 netflix - LG Nitro HD

Has anyone seen netflix working on cm11 (kitkat) ? I can launch the app, but playing a show it just simply spins and spins...
I believe it is failing because of
Code:
E/OMX-VDEC-1080P( 148): get_parameter: OMX_IndexParamVideoProfileLevelQuerySupported nProfileIndex ret NoMore 2
E/OMX-VDEC-1080P( 148): Extension: OMX.google.android.index.storeMetaDataInBuffers not implemented
E/OMXNodeInstance( 148): OMX_GetExtensionIndex OMX.google.android.index.storeMetaDataInBuffers failed
E/OMX-VDEC-1080P( 148): Enabling Adaptive playback for 1280 x 720
E/OMX-VDEC-1080P( 148):

FYI, if you are encountering this issue install the xposed framework with this module. All this module does is tell netflix you are running ICS and netflix works

[Q] Flash videos hiccups

Could anyone please try to run this flash video and say if is it running till the end?
http://tv.winelibrary.com/2010/12/08/barolo-blind-tasting-episode-958/
I'm getting few hiccups and then video stops, audio continues to play though.
I'm running DeFrost 6.0e with performance governor overclocked to 1190MHz.
Video statistics pulled from ffmpeg:
Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 59.94 (2997/50) -> 29.92 (359/12)

Same by me, video runs 2 sec then stops, audi no prob...
Running Stock 2.10.405.2 - no OC
Older videos from the past episodes are using vp6f and mp3 (they are running smoothly) instead of h264 and aac which are choppy when streamed over flash.

And the same for me. Running the RCMixHD v0.14 ROM.
I've paused it until the video is fully cached - no dice.

I've opened up a case about this problem. Please vote for it so it's get fixed sooner than later. Thank you.
https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-5909
Still not solved on Gingerbread 2.3.1 AOSP build (Oxygen 2.0 RC1).
Workaround is to use Froyo and older version of flash 10.1.92.8.
http://cocaman.ch/wp/2010/09/tv-centerr-and-adobe-flash-player-10-1-92-10/
It seems the problem is related to Desire and Flash, not only to Flash.

Maybe this log help...

seems weird that you can play it on hd2..
the vid resolution is 1280x720 which is over hd2's and DHD's resolution of 800x480 and thus cant be played..

I think the bitrate is too high. I've played 720p videos fine.

As you can see, matter is not in bitrate. "Heavier" file opens and play well. I think business in codecs of desire hd.
What about the audio? Maybe it's not aac?
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
did you try playing it with rockplayer? you can get it from free on the market..
All audio track is acc, rackplayer and other players don't support hardware acceleration. In software mode video i laggy.

Hi,
I don't know whether i'm supposed to open a new thread, but my problem is similiar to the one explained here. I wanted to play some HD videos on my Desire HD and intended on copying the video on the SD-Card and simply launch it with RockPlayer. Well, this didn't work out as I had hoped: I had a picture and sound, but i was lurching and async or in other terms: impossible to watch!
So I went online and asked why this was. I was told, that my SD Card was way to slow and that I should use at least a Class4 SD card. I bought a Class6 SD Card, and it still does not work a bit better. Why?

dhd has not support hardware acceleration of mkv.

Hi,
I don't know whether i'm supposed to open a new thread, but my problem is similiar to the one explained here.
Why?
Btw: Here are the video specs:

Since mp4 and mkv both use h264 as the video codec you can create a mp4 file by copying the video stream using avidemux and re-encoding just the audio as acc. This will take just a couple of minutes because no re-encoding of the video is being done and you will be able to watch it from your class2 SD card. Any reasonable bitrate should be perfectly fine on a class2 card if you can watch it using the hardware accelleration.
Sometimes when I play mp4 files, it randomly stops and says it can't be played.
Stock video player sucks horribly, so does rockplayer and vplayer is no longer free.
Only thing to do is wait for VLC port on android.

PSEQ Test Bench

We are telco company and want to evaluate Perceptual voice quality. so as part of our product, we have implemented PSEQ in ARM v7 optimized assembly module. The module is C callable. we used the ARM emulator and GSM phone Audio In/out port to make automated calls to test our PSEQ. It works fine Now we want to implement it in smartphone, so our engineers can fix this on go
By browsing the code I came to /devices/libaudio/AudioHardware.cpp.
There is a thread on xda for two way call recording.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1648313.html
unfortunately it uses modem AT-commands to read file descriptors to open audio device and route it to voice recorder application, I want to use ALSA buffer to compare test vector response with actual received voice in buffer
ssize_t AudioHardware::AudioStreamOutALSA::write(const void* buffer, size_t bytes)
ssize_t AudioHardware::AudioStreamInALSA::read(void* buffer, ssize_t bytes)
The documentation is too generic in android. I tried to change above functions, but no effect on telephony, how do i get RIL hook on that .

[Q] Is it possible to capture 720p60 with CM10 Camera app?

I don't know if this is the right place for this but I wanted to record something at 1280x720p @ 60fps. Is this even possible?
Looking at any spec sheet for the Galaxy Nexus shows that it can do either 1080p24/30 (depending on the site) and I would have thought that it should handle 720p60 since the bandwidth is less (~63million pixels per second versus 55million).
Even going down to 480p the max FPS is 24.
The reason why I want to shoot at higher frame rates is that I want to slow down the playback and do frame by frame analysis of what I'm recording and I thought this was possible.
All signs point to no

Code:
const CapFramerate OMXCameraAdapter::mFramerates [] = {
{ 30, "30" },
{ 15, "15" },
};
Forcing media_profiles.xml to 60fps gives this http://pastebin.com/XDEwqyph with an error
E/CameraHAL( 127): Invalid frame rate range or frame rate

Is G7 outputting 16/44.1Khz to 24/48Khz in known hi-fi music apps?

Hi, I'm using G7(LM-G710N) on Android 10, and I'm suspicious about the "bypass" going on in well-known hi-fi music apps(UAPP, Neutron...).
I've heard that they upscale 16/44.1Khz files to 24/44.1Khz to avoid Android mixer, but my device seems to upscale it to 24/48Khz. AudioFlinger output recognizes the samplerate correctly, but in logcat, it seems like there is some mess going on, and the final output is 24/48Khz.
The same thing happens while playing 24/384Khz files, which downscales it to 24/192Khz.
I've tried mostly with UAPP, and tried turning MQA flag on, which upscaled everything to 24/176Khz or 24/192Khz, and the results that I'm talking about is with all set to default except setting bit-perfect on.
I know that there was a quick debate similar to this topic, but I can't find any answers to what is happening to my G7. Does anyone know what is going on or is there a thread that could help me? Thanks in advance.

Do you have any audio mods? If so, that's likely why. The G7 will not play audio as it was intended to with ANY audio mods...Viper, Narsil, JDSP, Dolby....none of them

Thank you for your reply, and no, I didn't turn on any audio mods on. I'm not a fan with DTS:X mod, and I don't play with EQ, so it's all in default/off settings. The only thing I've changed is the digital filter, which is set to Slow.
