having trouble signing in.. a message just pop up and say "the service is unavailable. Do you want to try again?"
does anyone having the same problem? having the problem with leedroid v1.6, then flashed open desire however the same result..

I had this,just check online and see if it says anything about unknown activity in your account.Facebook blocks the unknown activity,reckoned i was been connected from the states.?

i could sign in with my second facebook account but not the primary facebook account... how weird?
i tried to log on facebook on my laptop but everything seems fine.. there wasn't anything unknown activity, hacked, etc..
this is really pissing me off

HTC Facebook Problems
Hey guys just a note there seems to be a few problems with Facebook at the moment - apparently the team is working on it. They think the reason is a change in the Facebook platform, possibly with application settings and privacy.

Our technicians are working hard with Facebook to resolve an issue with Facebook for HTC sense that has affected some customers from Friday. Problem with WLM in Mango.

Hey guys, I've updated my HTC Trophy to Mango and I've noticed a problem with WLM in Messaging.
In the Messaging under online, it only shows some contacts online, but not every online contact.
and when I go to some contact in the PeopleHub, it says text+chat, but it doesn't show it for everyone I speak to on WLM.
Anyone got a fix for this?

I have noticed this with my FB contacts. Some friends don't show up in the list available on my phone, but it does show them as available in FB chat on my computer.

I have this issue too.
And hope this is just a beta bug, but sometimes when I'm chatting with someone and I turn the screen off and after a while I turn on and go chat with the same person, it shows me that he is offline.
I need to go back to message hub, slide to "online" and wait to load again.

Its a privacy setting they have enabled to allow apps certain permissions. Fb has these and wlm has them each friend. Has to grant access to other apps to use chat and such

Maybe.. in your email settings, how often you set to download new content?

Sync manualy once all of your accounts in Settings/email-accounts...

I download new content every 30 minutes and I keep syncing in manually in settings>email+accounts.
I'll be able to chat to people on WLM desktop, but not in Messaging on my phone, they don't appear online.

The problem might be the server that Windows Phone using is not the same as WLM, and some functionality of WLM have not finished yet in the current build of Mango (as it is for dev to testing app). We might have to wait until they release the final build or might be another working update. Right now, even those people from FB, Y!M or Gmail can see you online and they can send you message, but you probably cannot send back to them due to the limit of current build. However, I can confirm that WLM working perfectly. So if you guy has Live id, use it for messenger for now until we have the good build as we can message other services.

[APP/HOWTO] skype problem

Hi mates.
i have problem with skype on my galaxy s2.
skype doesnt show online contacts.
when i open skype on my computer i see many of my friends online.
but if i open skype from my galaxy s2, all contacts are offline.
i can chat and make calls if they write me. but i cant see them online.
any solution?

PS Uninstall current of skype and install above.

i downloaded and setup this version.
now i see 2 online people and one of it Echo/Sound test service
but i check skype from my computer there are 10 of my contacts online.
how can it be? i dont understand..

Just for your info I can see my contact on my SGS2 when their online but not always from my laptop... try rebooting phone to see if that helps.

viber issues

anyone here having viber issues? I already installed the latest and registered, it's working fine for chat and sending photos but everytime i click a contact icon (inside the chatbox) it will say 'viber stops' and will close out. Same goes when trying viber calls. Viber eill sinply stop with a notification 'viber stops'. I did tons of uninstallzreinstall/reflashing of my tablet itself. Nothing.. it works well on my GTP6800 7.7 tablet though.

I tried both. Rooted and unrooted. Even with freshly installed ROM.

Hello, It is a strange.
I had viber issue. I rooted it then install Multi Windows manage that I added viber app. After reboot it, my viber had stop when click on call. I did reinstall and reboot but it was not work. I removed viber app from multi windows mange then reboot. It was work for call.
P.S I am apologise that I am not good at English Grammar.

Thanks for the advice, i'll check on it later on. I wasn't able to register my viber account due to frequent activation code request.

Account & Sync Issue

Even though i use XDA website often, this is my first post so Cheers ! to everyone out there..
Need some advice and help on an issue im facing currently. I recently purchased Zuk Z2 plus on the amazon offer for 9k odd :cyclops: and as usual before i could go ahead and root the device, i wanted to check how it performs for few days. So i started to install basic apps like Evernote, Shareit, Whatsapp, Outlook, VPN, etc etc and after syncing my contacts via google email, as i normally use to on all my devices, i saw something called "CardDav" and "iCloud" in "Advanced Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Add account" .. and at the same time im unable to open the option called "...Other" under Accounts & Sync. And whenever i click "Others", it returns back to settings page. So basically i have no control over accounts and sync. Is this a known bug ? and how do i remove these CardDav, iCloud stuff.
Can someone shed some light on how this gets installed ? because i dont find this on my other devices (Oppo A57, redmi note, oneplus 3). I know that its a protocol for syncing contacts and this has something to do with Google Contact Sync but i would like to have control over my accounts. Any help would be appreciated..

For those who are facing this issue, i resolved it by a simple factory reset, before i went ahead and unlocked my bootloader. I have installed the same apps which i had previously installed and verified the settings each time after setting the app up.
Its been 2 days and i havent faced the issue which i had previously. I have installed few major apps which could possibly auto sync your contacts like Linkedin, Outlook, Facebook, Whatsapp etc. Now i dont find carddav or caldav in my system and able to control my "Other" option in "Account & Sync"
@admin, you can close this thread if needed

worked for me by uninstalling airtel's wynk app

also worked by uninstalling Alipay app
