hey everyone
is there a way to do all those cool thing you guys talk about WITHOUT using cmw? because my last gio crashed while flashig it with the android third recovery and i had to buy a new one...
what do you want to do? you can't flash custom roms with the stock recovery. you cant do backups. you can only wipe data with the stock recovery (and flash zips)
and btw if you want to flash the cwm recovery DONT use rom manager (or whatever the app is called)

if he flashed cwm with rom manager it is possible to brick the phone

Dude 1 of the most important requirements of rooting and using other custom rom is the CWM!
My t989 wont connect to my computer. I need to warrenty it. But im not sure if theres a way to put the stock recovery back without odin? Thanks

my grand not going to cwm recovery mod (show grand logo and restarting i have tried 5-6 times).I have flahed chotu recovery.plz tell me any suggestion
is there any widgets to go in recovery mode.without recovery mod I cannot root my grand.and u successfully rooted how ?

Make a factory reset, wipe cache and dalvic cache, open Odin 3.04, connect the phone in download mode, browse the chhotu file to pda, flash the file it will take 5 to 10seconds...the odin shows the status passed... That's all you will get Cwm recovery..

Bro the problem is that
I flash chotu touch revovery after that when I am trying to go to recovery but its shows grand logo and it restarting I have try it 5-6 time and try recovery widgets

Something you are doing wrong.. I was the first who root android 4.2.2. without asking anyone.. I made success onthat.. First you do factory reset.. Wipe cache and dalvic cache.. Flash the whole firmware again.. Then flash cwm recovery...

Are you sure you are putting your phone in download mode???
There is no way for error...Even if you dont wipe data/cache..it should work...Or try recovery by pawitp

ok friends. i need some help. i was trying to install "Anthem_d2tmo_20140131.zip" i wiped all the data and now i cant install it because i have lost root access as well . I was using "wicked" rom before and i now im stuck with only cwm screen. i cant go any further than that. Please help me to install a new rom or even (at this stage stock rom)

Thanks. i tried that too but nothing was working, i paid the cell phone shop guy $35 and he did it for me
now i am back to stock 4.1.1 and cant decide which rom to try now. would you recommend any?

Yes i know this but when i flashing stock recovery img .after reboting in recovery i m getting cwm recovery.
I donnt know wether i am using right recovery file or not. So plz provide me right recivery link to download.
