[Q] whatsApp SplashMod v1.6

I can not seem to be able to update WhatsApp,
I did install ver. 2.6.8881 but whenever i open it, i get ::
"ALERT"
This version of WhatsApp is too old and no longer functions.
Please visit ... and Download latest copy ...
I also flashed the latest Google apps as recommended, ...
so, there is a bug or what that it's not letting me Update to the Latest version ??? ... Any comments please ..

Today, 05:33 AM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21570937#post21570937 and It Fixed it, I just installed Google Maps over the Market, opened it, and then i went to Market again, searched for WhatsApp, and presto, it was there to be installed ...

maybe better try to search for splashmod htc wildfire. Then you find allready much info and prob the one you need

Huawei u8500 install CM R7.2RC3 or GPS fix for CM7.0

I have Huawei ideos u8500 and I installed CyanogenMod 7.0 on 2.3.5 gingerbread-slax and its working fine except GPS. I got the phone rooted. I downloaded:
GPSstatus
Fasterfix
But the GPS still doesnt work. It appears on toolbar but when I launch an app it loads forever.

But I have no idea what Sense ROM is and what actually I need to do. MSL reader doesnt work on my device.
I wanted to download CyanogenMod7.2 RC3 but upon installing in CMRecovery it said Im missing /system/app/certinstaller.odex (I guess I need higher version of droid, not sure).
So what can I do? If theres a solution to fix gps for cyanogen 7.0 please send me a link. If you know why Im having problems with CyanogenMod7.2 RC3 installation please tell me.

[Q] GPS problem on my Desire HD Jelly Bean ROM

First of all, sorry for my probably bad English. (I'm from Ukraine, Sevastopol)
I installed ROM from this thread:

It works fine, and i surprised of speed of my phone. Thanks people, who make this ROM.
But I have one bug, that I can't fix.
I had no working GPS.
What i tried:
this:
"Use GPS Status and in the menu>tools>manage A-GPS , do a reset. Then check that GPS are fixed." - from here. - not worked for me.

How I test:
with program GPS Status and GPS test. In the second the indicator of power of GPS is Yellow (but GPS is ON and coordinates of wireless is on too), but I know, that normally it must be Green. And i have zero satelites founded for a long time ago. I tried to find GPS in a good weather, of course.
My information:
Phone: HTC DESIRE HD
Radio: 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M
Core Version: 3.0.59_JellyTime_42_R2-g9f22a5f-dirty [email protected]#2 Sat Jan 19 00:05:34 PST 2012

I flashed orginal non-rooted rom and GPS has started work again. Next i've done root and restore rom and GPS work ! But camera still doesn't work

Try to flash the original pd98img.zip and after flash last version of jellytime r4....

The rom works great and smoothly. I am facing a little problem, i can not connect to wifi. It gets stuck at "obtaining IP address".
It was working fine with CM 10.1.

i changed update-binary, then i can flash the rom on OWL-Recovery
because my 2012 wfs(i think 2012 wfs has some other special on few device.......) can't not use any new rec.

Main Bugs
Camera quality worse than stock Sense ROMs.
Camcorder recording framerate is very low.
Panoramas generated are not correct.
Data disconnects randomly sometimes.
USB Tethering does not work (i. e. Using phone as modem doesn't work).
All in all, these bugs are very very minor, as the Camera on the whole works.
So I've been using your rom for quite some time now, and I obviously like it

Questions about WFS ROM
Could you fix the ota updater because the ota updater id is empty and i can't check if there is a newer version of the rom and when I click to check it manually it says invalid request and could you tell me how you got the status bar to be transparent on mine is always black btw awesome rom
And I can't use Int2ext and I'm using CWM 6

I installed WFS 11.0 - weekly v(6.0) on my wildfire s but there was no google market in the menu. I downloaded last version of Google Play apk then installed but It isn't opened. when I click on, it seems as if it's opening but half second of black screen and closes the app. how can I install google play ?

V10 can't install gapps
Hello
It keeps saying its unable to run the updater binary, any chance you can release a version of your rom which includes google apps?
(also it says the Fly-On mod is missing the GPL license.)

Dear Amir, I am using WFSY11.0-WFS-V10.0 ROM it seems to be great and as for WFS it is working fine but unfortunately google play service force closes after sometime. If a solution is available pls share.

Is anybody else facing this issue?

Can anyone confirm that their GPS works at all? I can't get my GPS to work. It gets no satellites in GPS Test app on the Play Store. It can only acquire location by wifi scan, not GPS satellites. I have the Nexus 7 2013 32GB (flo) running CM12 without root or mods.

Having issues with Bluetooth and GPS here. Bluetooth is working but with lots of skipping. its not my player or my music stream. Same song plays fine with headphone and N7 speakers. And I also have totally lost my GPS, didn’t even notice until I checked with GPS Checker.

For having a working GPS you need to install another kernel until cm has fixed it.
I installed this one and gps work's just fine.

Won't Boot with SuperSu by Chainfire
Hi all, I have issues booting after updating from nightly to nightly. Here's the situation:
After updating from any CM12 nightly to a newer CM12 nightly, my tablet gets stuck on the boot splash screen (the one where it says Google and has the lock icon at the bottom) and I can't boot at all. I have tracked the issue to SuperSu by ChainFire. My SuperSu settings are attached below. Is this just me or is it everyone else too? If it is just me is there any way to fix it permanently rather than wiping /system and needing to re-flash everything all over again?

is simple zip to add "androidboot.selinux=permissive" to kernel boot command line.

I was disappointed with 1.23 nightly though 1.24 fixed it up, hoping that some apps that come with Cyanogen like the music player get a landscape setup; irritating that it rotates back to portrait. Nexus 7's a tablet! ,content is best in landscape hoping you guys could work on it

1.30 Interface issue
On last nightly (1.30) i found a bug in interface in horizantal view. Buttons (menu, back option) are not drawn correctly .
