I was reading on myPulse App app, and noticed that Sammy had put out a new App called MILK MUSIC...
Samsung unveils an iTunes Radio rival that won’t annoy you with ads
Actually works perfect on my Note 2 Thanks Samsung...:good::good:
Samsung announced on Friday that it has officially entered the music streaming market with a brand new app on Google Play called Milk Music. Milk Music is a radio service much like Pandora, but will be exclusive to Galaxy devices. Best of all, Milk is completely ad-free without any subscription fee to speak of. You are still limited to six skips an hour on any given station, but according to Samsung, you’ll never hear an ad on Milk Music.
Although you are free to create your own station based on a favorite artist or song, Milk’s primary feature is a large dial that dominates the home screen. The dial lists nine genres, and after you decide on a genre, you can fine-tune your station to include new music, popular music or music you’ve favorited in the past. You can even personalize the dial to include only the genre that you plan on listening to. If you can’t be bothered to deal with genre stations, the app also features a “Spotlight” section curated by “music tastemakers and influencers.”
Milk Music is now available onGoogle Play.
Or you can download it Here

Samsung Introduces Milk, the Next Big Thing in Music
Free Radio Service with 200 Ad-free Stations Offers Fully Customizable Experience to Your Taste
March 7 – DALLAS, TX – Delivering on the passion points of consumers, Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (Samsung Mobile) today introduced Milk Music™, a new, free and ad-free radio service that offers an effortless and entertaining way to enjoy the music you love and discover new, unexpected music. Fully customizable, Milk is designed with an elegant, easy-to-use interface and more than 200 stations that makes tuning into your favorite music a more enjoyable and enriching experience.
“Milk introduces a fresh approach to music that reflects our innovation leadership and our focus on creating best-in-class consumer experiences,” said Gregory Lee, president and CEO of Samsung Telecommunications America and Samsung Electronics North America Headquarters. “We’re offering consumers amazing, rich music experiences built around what matters most to them and their lifestyle.”
Milk powered by Slacker is available now exclusively for Galaxy consumers to download on Google Play

Coming soon, Samsung will be offering unique music programming from top selling and emerging artists available exclusively through Milk.
Milk Makes More of Your Signature Sounds
Instant and Effortless Listening:
Milk’s distinctive dial design provides a more intuitive and natural way to listen to music that is more organic and fun. With no log-in required and no need to think of a specific artist, song name or browsing through a list of choices, you can just starting listening to music instantly. From Pop to Jazz and everything in between, the dial displays up to nine genre-based stations featuring a wide variety of music listening choices, with a simple and quick turn of the dial.
More of the Music You Love:
With a growing music catalog of 200 genre-based and curated stations, and 13M songs, Milk connects people with the best music, whether it’s a standby song or a new discovery, with significantly fewer repeats. In addition, the “Spotlight” feature offers a continuous curated selection of songs and albums handpicked by music tastemakers and influencers. “My Stations” allows you to create personal stations based on your favorite songs and albums, easily accessible on the dial, providing limitless listening options. Milk also allows you six song skips per hour per station.
Your Music Your Way:
Samsung is delivering an incredibly personalized experience by offering users many ways to fine-tune Milk to suit their individual listening preferences. The dial is customizable to showcase only the genres that are most relevant to your personal tastes and preferences. Offering more personalization options, the “Fine-Tune Station” feature allows you to adjust the genre-based station based on popularity, novelty and song favorites to further optimize recommendations for the best personalized listening experience.

I love this app. I use my phone for music on a daily basis and since I've gotten milk, I haven't touched Pandora. It seems like it has millions more songs than Pandora and a bigger selection of sub genres. It doesn't have comedy stations which is kind of a bummer though. The dial takes a little getting used to and it would be easier if you could customize it with just the sub genres you like. You almost have to memorize the numbers of the ones you like. I wish it would give album info too. You also get a lot of skips. I think like 6 an hour but you get them back if you change stations. the buttons on the widget could be a little bigger too, it's hard to mess with while driving.

As a long time Androyer myself, I'm happy to announce my wife has come over to this side of freedom from her idevice.
Having 2 Nexi together is very fun, NFCing, sharing ideas, flashing etc. I got my wife her Nexus one week after I got mine, she saw the beauty of the device, and was curious about it. Her first week was very difficult in trying to customize and get used to the system, especially after coming from simple-apple. But with a little guidance and help she saw what Android was capable of doing and customized her own screens.
I'm curious to know if your significant other also has the SGN and how has the transition been? Is his/her screens customized? Did they come from another OS?
Here is my wife's screens, I told her I was proud of her and that I would share it with you guys... she said criticism welcomed!!!! Thank guys, maybe this could be a thread for chicks to get together and share chick stuff? IDK...
Love you Cheekys!

nice colour scheme tho.
I think the screens are looking good. I, myself also focus on the wallpaper. That being said, on the 4th screen, that folder is kinda blocking the bug!
My wife went from a iPhone 3GS to a Droid X (rough) then to a Droid Incredible and I bought us both Galaxy Nexus on release date. The ONLY issue she's had is that MoonReader Pro suddenly took over for her Messaging Icon ... and even her SMS widget opened MoonReaderPro ... had to uninstall and reinstall MoonReader to get them both to work. HOW she did this .. I do not know. But for the most part she LOVES the phone and doesn't much care for iOS. And we both use MacbookPro's as our laptop of choice.

I followed the nexus and got it shortly after release. It was frustrating coming from HTC sense so my wife got the rezound. Well about a week later and after flashing a few roms and mods I was in love and the wife hated the rezound. It was just too similar to the tbolt so she switched to the gnex and loves it. We are both running android revolution hd with nova launcher and love our phones. My wife might steal some ideas from yours

+1 we're interested in what apps and/or setups your wife/girlfriend sets up. Post em up to share! So far, every app she's had in iOS she's found in Android. And to tell you the truth, they've updated some apps to greater standards up there with iOS... Especially Dropbox.

Got my wife to switch from a Palm to Android about 2 years ago. She uses the web and phone a lot for work. She wanted a keyboard, so the Droid2 was the option at that time. We also share a family calendar and use Google Talk a lot of communicate w/o calling.
Can't get her to take much of an interest in doing anything to her homescreens, though. Not even sure she has any widgets on the thing...

My wife had been using a mytouch 4g until I switched her over to a HTC Sensation. I upgraded to the galaxy nexus from the nexus s, and a few days later, my nexus s was missing. She swiped it and is not using it as her primary device.
Im just wondering what kind of things do you guys do to your phones. Roms apps themes etc. Im running cm9 and want to try to find new ideas and apps to make my phone cooler and less boring. thanks in advance guys
My E4GT is pretty much information central. I do all the normal things, text, phone, data but no gaming and rarely watch movies (unless I'm trying to drain a battery lol). However my phone holds all the important information in my life, family events, bill due dates/amounts, appointments, To Do lists, Shopping Lists, car maintenance repair reminders, lists of things I want to read, research or sell, pictures of the people and animals in my life, work and personal email.
I try not to be so paperless but honestly I'd be lost without my phone.
I'd say I just found a new look that I love, I found a cm9 sense theme that looks great on this phone! Any other fun addicting games like temple run?
I use mine for several things daily. Dropbox for reading class notes for college and making transferring new modems, etc a little easier. Shopping, paying bills, calendar stuff. I use the Square app + card reader so I can accept credit cards from customers of my (very) small computer repair business. I plug my phone into my car's stereo and stream pandora when I'm driving;Google Music if I want to listen to my own stuff. I use ventrilo on my phone for some pc games that I play instead of installing an extra program on my pc. I listen to car talk every Saturday via the npr news app. Kroger app for loading coupons onto my kroger card before grocery shopping. I often stream hulu plus or netflix on my television via hdmi adapter. Weather, general news, email, xda (goes without saying), video chatting with friends /family via Skype, gps navigation...... Think that's about it for now.

I just want a Cheap-ish bluetooth headset that goes on my left ear.
I want it to have decent battery life, good to pick up my voice but not too much background noise (so when i'm walking around work at a retail store.)
Also a big part, I want it to stream music from my phone.
The cheaper the better, but of course I want good quality. If anyone can point me in the right direction, thanks

Was with you until you said "Stream Music". Why would you want to stream music into only one ear?
This is what I used for awhile and still use from time to time. Very cheap, pairs with every rom I've thrown at it (probably because it's made by Samsung):
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-WEP46...=1347165265&sr=8-4&keywords=bluetooth+headset
No idea if it will stream music. I use mine for hands free calling and that's about it--I have a Bluetooth stereo in my car for streaming music.

But anyways, I guess better call quality and comfort is more important. I read reviews, people said there's a constant LED?
Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SII Epic 4G Touch
If you leave it on, yes. When it's in "Standby" mode it will emit a blue led every once in awhile. Even though the instructions say a charge should last "a week" of standby time, to be honest I turn the thing off when I'm not using it, unless I have a three-hour car drive ahead of me.
Yeah I would too. I just don't want my boss to see a blue LED from my ear when I'm talking

I have been a Jawbone fan since the first one came out. But the last few models just stopped fitting my ears. I have strange ears I guess. I tried every possible adapter and just couldn't get them to fit right. So a couple of weeks ago I decided to step away from them and find something else. Also I use two phones (home and work) and the jawbone never worked well in that situation. I could receive a call on either phone but couldn't make a call. I had the Era with the latest software and android software installed in case anyone wants to know.
First I tried Blueant Q2. it is a great product. Fit pretty good and has good features but did not work well with both phones.
Next I tried Plantronics Marque M155 - Fit was Ok. Features were ok but again didn't work well on both phones.
Then I tried the Motorola Elite Silver - I was really blown away by this one. Nothing fits better on the ear for me. It comes with a nice hard shell case which also acts as a battery boost and charger. It worked perfectly on both phones. I hit the button and it asks me which phone I want to use and works perfectly. Battery life is better than the others I tried. The HD audio streaming works very well for a Bluetooth headset. Sounds better than my Jawbone did. Although I rarely use this feature it is nice to see that it works well when I need it. Call quality is great on my end and nobody has complained or asked if I was on speakerphone or bluetooth while talking to them. And lastly the features with the free app are excellent. I can send a text message from either phone without ever touching the phone. I can receive text messages and reply in the same way. There has been only one drawback. The current software version does not support caller id by name on anything greater than GB. Not a deal breaker for me and the other benefits far outweigh that little annoyance. Plus I am sure (hoping ) that it gets fixed in a software update.
So my vote hands down is http://www.motorola.com/us/consumers/Motorola-Elite-Sliver-Bluetooth®-Headset/75589,en_US,pd.html. I picked mine up at ATT for around $70 a few weeks ago.
I can't say this is the best headset there is because I have not tried them all. I can only say that it is the best I have ever used and am completely happy with it.

I have had it about three weeks and have charged it once. And that also means I haven't even broken the battery in yet. I have it turned on about 9 hours a day. I keep it off the rest of the time. I talk and text on it daily but not what I would consider heavily. The case/charger has a built in battery booster so it gets great life. Best I have ever owned so far. Once the battery breaks in I expect to get three weeks between charges maybe more.

Unfortunately I have no experience with the Samsung headsets. I would say to make sure you get it from someplace that has a good return policy and just try it out. If it doesn't work out you can return it. That is what I did when I was looking for mine. I returned three headsets before I found the one I wanted.

The new NBA Game Time app from sprint is actually working on androids this year, and amazingly, so is the league pass. I'm on the league pass free trial right now but thinking about purchasing the full league pass if I can get the video to show to my TV through the MHL adapter that they sell for the SGS3's. Anyone have experience or can confirm that this will work? Would be much appreciated!
Watching it as well at home and on the phone I'm buying the cable and league pass. Let me know If you get a cable before I do and how good it looks.

Lol this is funny I was just gonna start a thread about League pass. It's free for a bit but it's only 39.99 for the whole season (Sprint customers get 20% off)
So far I'm pretty impressed with the quality. For only 40 bucks you get the entire season. Wish it included playoffs but still. 80 games left this season so that's not too bad
Hope the NFL takes note and offers Sprint some live games, now that would be awesome

Just install this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nbadigital.gametimelite
You'll be able to use all the features including game recaps, live viewing of games on ESPN and a few behind the scenes stuff like team and player interviews
Lol I just realized I sound like a rep. Oh well, good app

I was really looking forward to trying this but when I hooked up my old mhl adapter it wouldn't work. As it turns out our gs3 has a different mini usb connector so we need new mhl adapters. Once I get one I will try this out. Hopefully the trial is still on by the time it gets shipped to me.

I would like to start watching some movies on my note 2. I don't want to download them to my device. I was thinking of using drop box and a program which puts dvds as a file. It takes a rather long time and I would rather not want to do this every time. Is there a website or something that allows you to Stream your own movies for free?
most movies nowadays come with ultraviolet copies. if your dvds don't then try setting your computer up as an ftp server and host them yourself

if you were trying to "share" movies over your own home network, like watch movies that were on a home computer in another room, that would be easy. Stupid easy. Set your folder with movies as "shared" over the network, use something like BubbleUPnP player, or even XBMC for Android (quite a bit more complicated to set up, but Way Worth it, once you set up the library and shares) to browse and watch. (with XBMC, I woiuld set it up on the host sys, set up the libraries and metadata there for sharing over the network.)
if you are trying to "share" movies over the internet (from your home, I assume?), for you to watch when you were out at another location, well that's a hobby unto itself, and outside the scope of what you could expect here at XDA. Learning how to set up a "real" server (FTP, SMB/CIFS), takes time and (at least self-) education. People get paid to do that kind of stuff, right? Worth learning, if you have the time. But I don't have the time to even teach you the basics. There are no basics.
Not to mention most likely your bandwidth upstream from home, on most IPSs, is not very great. I wouldn't want to stream anything but standard definition vid files, And it might "kill" the internet use for anyone at home.
But for fun, here are some basic solutions and/or information for you to explore, get started. If you start to play around with networking, you'll quickly become a "computer genius" to family n friends. :

http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-i-set-home-file-server-free-review-freenas.htm (FreeNAS is one of my faves)
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/9659/how-to-install-and-setup-windows-home-server/ (WHS is another fave, even though they dont "make" it anymore, it can still be found, and is a stupid easy way to "get started" in servers if you're comfortable in the Windows environment, I always recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to get into command line *nix kinda stuff, just wants to play around with a functional and easy way to have a server, works great, and completely instantly compatible, obviously, with any Win based PCs at home.)

Good Luck!
I use Remote Media Center from the play store. In conjuction with remote potato server app running on your home computer to serve your media. RMC will utilize MX player to handle the video playback on your phone. (Install MX player). I've been using this setup for almost a year no problem. I've got tons of video and pictures, music I don't need to carry with me.

I downloaded this after seeing your post and have watched every new movie from 2012 I'd wanted to see but wouldn't pay $20 to go sit in a theater full of morons crunching popcorn, slurping soda, texting, talking and making my night miserable what a waste. I haven't been to a theater in 2 year's or so cause of that crap. Price is too high to go watch a movie that you miss half of from the rude idiots acting like they're sitting on their own couch and didnt just pay a small fortune to be there. I can't quite figure out why the prices have gotten so high its not like the theaters have gotten any nicer or more private. I could see a price increase if they weren't packing 200+ people in a 150'x150' room im seats where you're practically sitting on each others lap.

it's basic economics. wherein a business is not considered successful unless there is measurable Growth in profits to show to investors every year. (ie: "how can we squeeze more money from our customers while bringing production costs down/delivering less, and do it better than last year?") theaters have become the worst experience you can have for $15, hands down.
if it wasn't for IMAX, i wouldn't go to theaters at all. even then, at home i've got excellent surround sound, 55" screen. and i get to take pee breaks. and i make way better snacks than Regal. (you haven't lived until you've had my open-faced chopped steak and provolone sandwich)
and people wonder why i'm a verified, unrepentant, and proud pirate. over 700 movies in my collection, and counting. (not to mention TV seasons... and hundreds of thousands of songs...) that's why I maintain a robust server in my basement. any bit of my media collection is accessible by any terminal in the house.
call me a hypocrite if you like, but i never pirate software. and verbally slam those that do. *shrug*
Why would they have an app that allows for not so legal activity in the play store?
Questions like this is why they get pulled........ shhhhhh

Its internet connection is blocked by AdBlock and after I opened it it placed another app shortcut on my homescreen "Aplicaciones". No thank you. Looks fishy. Uninstalled.
Worked fine for me with adblock and no shortcut created. Checked out with several phone and pc based av progs too.
