S3 Factory Reset,Any way to get her videos back? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I had to do a Factory reset because a cheap sd card messed up her phone
Is there any way to get her vacation vids back, could they still be there somewhere, and how / what program could I use?
I ask because some paid programs claim they can get them back, is this true?

[Q] Is my Galaxy S3 i747 seriously hard bricked?

(NOTE THAT I AM ONLY EXPLAINING IN *DETAIL SO THAT SOMEONE MAY BE ABLE TO CORRECTLY ANALYZE THE PROBLEM)
Okay, so I got my new AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III less than a month ago.
My friend helped me in the past few days to root and install cyanogenmod 10. Everything was still fine, until I did something in some kind of pixel density changing app. When rebooting, it only showed the Samsung and Samsung Galaxy S III screens when booting up, but went no further. I wiped everything and restored the last backup I made (advanced restore). Everything ran fine again, with all the original factory stuff. I decided to try and see if I could reinstall cm10 (wiped everything, installed zip, rebooted), and it was successful. Then I decided I wanted to wipe that and try out Energy HD 2.0. Once trying to install the zip, it returned an error message and aborted. I then decided to scrap that idea and just go back to the original factory rom and everything. So I once again wiped and restored my last backup. Upon hitting Reboot, it just went black and didn't turn on again. Now I am completely unable to turn it on, charge it, go into cwm recovery, or download mode. Plugging into the computer just pops a driver install message for QHSUSB_LOAD. Never has anything, even the LED, so much as blinked.
Can somebody please help me? I just would like to know if there is a way to get it working. I'd be very grateful, thanks!
*detail, meaning just what I was doing, as I do not remember exact error codes and such.

Is it even possible to re-flash a recovery image (from Odin3) when the device cannot enter download mode?
I think it may have been CWM Recovery v5.0.4.2 or something that I originally installed/flashed (can't check right now though, because I was kicked off my computer). Then it had upgraded to v6.something later on my phone.

Yeah I would say your bootloader is messed up and the only way to breath life back into your phone is jtag repairs. I had a problem identicle to yours and I searched the net for a week solid trying to figure out how to fix it without having to fork over the money.. but alas had to send it. Luckily the guy who provides the repairs is amazing at what he does. Phone will be back in your hands within a few days if you're from the states.

Hmm, okay. I wonder then why only JTAG Repairs knows how to fix this stuff, and the information isn't widely available.
And so if I do send it to jtag, then I guess I'll be getting it back within a few days, 'cause I live in the US.
Thanks for your input.

Well there is a way for you to do the jtag repairs yourself... but i wouldn't touch the process with a 10 foot pole lol... I would rather let a pro do things like that... just youtube jtag repair and take a look at some of the process.... way beyond my comprehension atleast..

Ah, I suppose you're right. Not to mention expensive. That equipment probably costs more than having them fix it. Though it would probably be worth it of you bricked it on a regular basis.

[Q] Air bubble under glass after I rooted - return?

Okay, so I checked my phone for any defects before I rooted, and there were none, so I went ahead and rooted. Well, this morning, an air bubble appeared between the OLED panel and the glass covering it. My Knox counter is at 0x1, meaning the warranty is void. Am I totally screwed? I think it's a bunch of bull that rooting the phone voids the hardware warranty as well. There is no way rooting a phone can possible cause a manufacturer defect. Any ideas?
I do have purchase protection on my card I used, as well double warranty. Do you think that would work?
I'm so angry. Root my phone, get it awesome looking, then this air bubble comes out of no where. I'm not even sure it's an air bubble, I just know that it is between the OLED panel and the glass covering it.
I think you'll probably be fine returning it. They store people should be able to deduce that an air bubble under the screen could in no way have been caused by rooting. They probably won't even check the Knox counter for something like that.
In the meantime, post a pic. I'm curious to see what it looks like.
It's really hard to see, but I circled it.

My camera stopped working even with a /data wipe so I took it back and they tried the troubleshooting steps again, but didn't bother checking the bootloader. I dont even think they know how to TBH.
If it looks stock your fine. If it has a different boot screen or is obviously not stock then they can tell but a rep will almost never check the bootloadee

I don't even know how to boot into recovery on this phone lol. I've just been doing adb reboot recovery when it's in download mode XD. I'm just worried that you just need to get into download mode to check, and it really isn't that hard. Oh well, I stock odin'd, and it is factory reset and in the box ready to go back to the tmobile store hopefully for an exchange tomorrow.

Its just Vol up + power + home.
DL Mode is Vol dn + power + home.
Be prepared for them to be a little reluctant to exchange the phone. I took me a good 15 minutes. They have to go through their troubleshooting steps first.
I'm not sure what troubleshooting they can do for this. I mean, it isn't a software issue, so factory resetting the phone does nothing. Cleaning the screen is about the only thing they can try

At least in my case (i think the guy was new) he tried EVERYTHING. He reboot 3 times, pulled out the sim card (really?) sd card, everything. This was for a broken camera.

[Q] Htc One X shutting down randomly

hi
i brought my HOX around october 2013 time, i brought it refurbished off ebay.
about a month after, it started to get sim card errors, such as no sim inserted or no signal when everyone else had signal(i know its no the sim card), ever since then its been getting worse, now about 2-3 or even more, times per day it will just randomly shut off, if i play a game, listen to music etc, it also does this when i have no signal. after i turn it back on, it will just turn off again, the only way to prevent this is to remove the sim card tray then push it back in about 3 minutes later.
is anyone having or has had this problem?
thanks for helping me

ok will that sort it, what if its a hardware issue
Alright, I don't know if I will be much help here. The thing about HTC One X especially my one after I messed up my battery by playing games on my phone and watching movies while it was on charge. After that it used to randomly shut itself down around 40% then turn itself on and it did it multiple times. I reckon it is a battery related issue. I would but a new battery preferably from the HOX+ which is a 2040mah battery bigger than the HOX one 1800mah. After I replaced my battery everything has been fine.

Nexus 7 Screen Not Displaying Anything

I've looked around the forums and everywhere online but no one seems to have a solution to my problem. A few days ago i was using my Nexus 7 and i placed it down normally and shut the screen off. I came back to use it a few minutes later and the screen didn't turn on though the device itself was still on. I thought maybe it was just some lag which happens occasionally after i press the power button. I tried restarting it but the screen just stayed black. I think it is still charging because the led notification light still lights up every few seconds as usual and it still seems to be powered on. Is there a possible solution to fix this quickly or would i have to send it back to ASUS since it has been about 6 months since i purchased it?
Can you access to the bootloader ?
I can't actually see the screen so i guess no
Have you tried pressing the power button for longer than a minute?
If that doesn't work you may need to RMA to Asus.

Any way to wipe data if bootlooping?

Does anyone know of a way of wiping/factory resetting an H815 if it won't boot due to the bootloop issue? I want to get rid of passwords and other personal data before disposing of the phone.

If you really mean disposing, then a hammer or drill should do the job.
Otherwise, I would definitely try and sell the phone because, the screen especially, can sell for a lot. You can also recycle it. I always remove the motherboard entirely before doing this.
If you're willing to post it, I'd be happy to pay for shipping to the UK

Oh right. In that case I'd just not ship with the motherboard or drill through the memory chip. In the wrong hands, someone might be able to recover deleted files. It's as simple as using a root app from the play store. I've sold an S2 like this and explained why. The buyers tend to just want the screen anyway because you'll rarely find a buyer that has the equipment or skill for circuit board repairs.
