[q] another crying noob

Wanted to give my mate the taste of ICS, so I unlocked his booloader, rooted and flashed DoomKernel v14. Recovery works great, all 4-5 versions of it. The ROM I had in mind was OakPlay Linaro RC3.1
Flashed the ROM, got bootloop. How to fix the bootloop? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: when booting, it shows the doomkernel android reaper guy with his scythe. It stays like that no matter how long we wait. Since I can no longer visit my friend (going on holliday) please don't suggest changing kernel He probably can't do it. It would be better appreciated if you could suggest working ROMs instead.
After connecting to flashtool, it says :

Doomkernel v14 is a gingerbread kernel, so ics roms doesn't work with it. You could try to install a gingerbread rom if this doesn't work you have to flash a stock ftf.
Sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.

You can still try ICS, just use CM9 with a CM9 kernel.

I used AOKPlay with DoomLorD's ICS kernel and had issues so I flashed the kernel in the post, FXP 126. I used the RC 3 Linaro build and everything works like a dream! It is definitely worth flashing and checking out

i got confused haha, how about installing cwm recovery?
Update first to .96 then do the steps from first post ; because if you root the 200 or 211 and then flash the 96, the newer update will overwrite the "root stuff".
edit: ah already answered ..
P.S.
CWM
Rooted is required.
0. Download CWM here
Code:
CWM6-cDM_v2.2.zip (2.6 MB)

1. Enable USB Debuging & Unknow Source (from Security)
2. Extract that files and run cwm-install-en.bat
3. Follow the step in command prompt.
4. If successfully, reboot, keep press vol up when led's blue.
5. If you have problem with usb charging, flash this file via CWM.
Code:

thanks! I thought there is a new version of cwm also, but I am currently using this link you posted.
First post method working fine on my Acro S.
Thanks a lot!
Now ill go to change to Honami framework!
for anybody who's interested here's a rundown of the changelog
Camera - addressed an abnormality in the white balance
improved the “Quick Launch” button functionality
smoothed out (1080p) video recording, minimizing lag
Apps and services - streamlined Exchange Active Sync, particularly when running an encrypted set-up
boosted connection stability for 2G network data
ensured preferences on 3rd party apps remain after reboot – not a common problem, but we understand it can be a frustrating one!
Battery - economised power consumption, and heat dispersion for longer life
corrected juice level notifications, especially when running low
Hardware and UI- introduced a home key long-press to launch Google Now, and a double-press to launch Recent Apps
made sure the volume “up” button is fully responsive

[Q] How to Remove KNOX Bootloader on GALAXY Note II

Hi there!
I just upgraded my GALAXY Note II N7100 to newest version (Android 4.3 N7100XXUEMK4). My SIM card is detected, but it doesn't work. It always shows "Emergency Calls Only" and my IMEI was all messed up. I tried flashing back my 4.1.2 official ROM, but KNOX BL on Odin prevented me doing that. It shows "Unsupported version" and my KNOX warranty bit turned to 1. Also, I have had to flash the UEMK4 again, cause the phone shows "Firmware update encountered an error".
I just want to know, that can I remove KNOX BL by downloading a KNOX-free custom rom (Ditto Note3, etc.) and flash it via CWM?? Anybody pls help me, cause Samsung can't repair this thing. (Well, Sammy can repair it, but it costs me more than $100 !!) :crying::crying:

Xperia S - Status 7 - I am blocked!!
Hi,
i have an Xperia S, it was on a custom ROM 4.2.2 and for some reason i decided to move to Carbon Kit KAt. So i flashed the Carbon zip file but i got the error "STATUS 7" "Installation Aborted"

Hopefully You have an unlocked bootloader. If yes, then just flash the 'boot.img' from ROM.zip of the Carbon using fastboot. Then You will have twrp and then You can flash the ROM. The "status 7" error usually occurs if You have an old cwm/twrp.
