Wanted to give my mate the taste of ICS, so I unlocked his booloader, rooted and flashed DoomKernel v14. Recovery works great, all 4-5 versions of it. The ROM I had in mind was OakPlay Linaro RC3.1
Flashed the ROM, got bootloop. How to fix the bootloop? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: when booting, it shows the doomkernel android reaper guy with his scythe. It stays like that no matter how long we wait. Since I can no longer visit my friend (going on holliday) please don't suggest changing kernel He probably can't do it. It would be better appreciated if you could suggest working ROMs instead.
After connecting to flashtool, it says :

Doomkernel v14 is a gingerbread kernel, so ics roms doesn't work with it. You could try to install a gingerbread rom if this doesn't work you have to flash a stock ftf.
Sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.

I used AOKPlay with DoomLorD's ICS kernel and had issues so I flashed the kernel in the post, FXP 126. I used the RC 3 Linaro build and everything works like a dream! It is definitely worth flashing and checking out

The last time I used this was back a couple of months ago. The reason I moved back to stock was random reboots on twonky beam app.
Other than that it was quite good. Though for me the ringtones were too quiet

Actually this ROM is too unstable for daily use, and some features are missing. Update: How the "XDA rule" says: Do NOT ask for ETA. RaymanFX has got some exams to pass it first, so be patient until he finishes those exams. But anyway. Before you make a topic, use the search function. Wow, seems to work great so far.
The mediascanner issue my phone was facing in CM11 isn't happening, which is great (on cm11 it couldn't see folders until they were renamed, and then couldn't read some id3 tags.
A couple of bugs to report:
Screen backlight doesn't seem to turn off, the screen goes black but the backlight stays on.
GPS doesn't seem to lock.
I didn't have time to test further stuff, but I'll happily try the next version or any patches you want tested (I've restored my backup as I need GPS for ingress).

Thanks for reporting. I have noted it down. I noticed one more bug, that the camera application isnt present. And other apps won't work. This is because the HAL patch isnt merged in omniROM code. So, I have to make a request in the gerrit. For now, I have added the parameters in my build. It is compiling at this moment.
There's another bug. Screen brightness doesn't change when trying to alter it. It's always on full.
Is Xperia M dual C2004 Compatible

I get that... Now our phones can handle stuff... But its just a matter of time before they can't... And since we can't afford to buy new devices ever so often, and since it's good to have choice, I kindly request to please allow overclocking and undervolting. Anyways its great to finally see support from the different devs. Thanks
