As the fellow members said this is usual. That red message shows the eMMC firmware version. Nothing great. And using a PIT file never changes that. A pit file is Partition Identification Table in which a code is written directing the Odin to flash files to different directories. Never use a pit file unless or until necessary. Flashing with a pit file may not be a walk in the park all time. Pit should be used only if Odin says There is no PIT partition. So never advice anyone in that way to use PIT.

Hi All,
Couple days ago I tried to flash my note2 with mobile odin back to stock rom but something went wrong and since I have not been able to get past the welcome screen *Samsung Galaxy Note 2*. I can get into a recovery screen but I am unable to choose a new rom to flash with.
I ve tried to flash it with odin 3.07 and via kies but no joy.
At this stage I am quite desperate to get this resolved. Can anyone help me?
Download correct stock rom to pc. Mount SD Card in recovery. Transfer file. flash from recovery.
Flash stock rom via pc odin
make a nandroid bake up as soon as you root your phone next time.

Unfortunately I do not have that option. I only have volume up to continue or volume down to restart. When I go volume up the phone goes into download mode.
Yeah. Then you have to flash stock firmware.

He would have lost his data then. Flashing doesn't remove data.

True but i had to use Odin and every guideline said the filed had to color yellow while for me it stayed blue but i figured heck at the moment it's just a paperweight so I don't have a lot to loose.
Now Rooting it again and placing my nandroid back up back and I am all sorted.
Thank you again!

I lost my data anyway I had backed it up with titanium but ran into problems restoring it... Lesson learned to create an image of my Android once I got it sorted again.
Thanks
I had the same problem and almost had a heart attack thinking I bricked my phone when downgrading back to 4.1.1... Needless to say I just had to do a factory reset in recovery and it worked fine

yes but its not as bad now
Leave device for few time, depending on ext sd card media scanning first time may takes half an hour or more. And during media scanning it's lagging alot.
Give 40min time to settle it then restart and again wait 10min

Hey guys
I just recently bought this phone and its really great so i tried to install cwm n root it but its not happening.I previously had a galaxy ace so i am familiar with the process cuz i had done it a zillion times but here the problem is half the time my phone is not recognized by odin n it was recognized a few times n i flashed the cwm file and it all went good but cwm never came but it shows in odin mode that i had flashed it so i dont understand the problem.
And yes i formated and tried again but its still the same thing..i tried different cwms n even the root package but nothing happens..i tried to flash a rom also but that too doesnt happen n i tried to update my phone by kies but it shows a problem in that too
Please help me out here..im running official 4.1.2 indian version..It had come with official ics but i did the ota updates

During the installation of cmw untick the auto reboot option and leave the rest as it is!
When done flashing remove battery and restart in cmw.

YES i m using as admin , there is no way to do a partition again like stock ? :'(
Does it show on Download mode product name? If it doesn't than it's means that your phone suffered from Sudden death and you need motherboard replacement.
Try a different usb port and different version of odin. If not this should have the pit file

I have T-Mobile s4 rooted running the latest KitKat beanstalk ROM but recently I was messing around in twrp and formatted my internal SD and ever since doing that I can not reboot my phone it always goes in a bootloop and the only thing that works to make it reboot is formatting internal data again and I have to do this with every reboot and its annoying cause I have to go through setup wizard every time so my question is if I were to get the official stock firmware from sammobile using mobile Odin can I go back to stock and hope this fixes my phone???? Sorry for the long question just don't have a computer at the moment and need my phone fixed
Insane kitkat and beanstalk are 2 different ROMs.....
Re flashing the stock firmware should work. Try to re flash insane kitkat first.

Mobile Odin doesn't seem to like the s4 too much. With the new update it might work but I dont know. It's worth a shot.
