I dont know but the lg support tool just shows question marks. It can be the problem, that the computer is in german. Is there any fix?

What the hell? Never seen that before....

Can't see anything in the picture as it's too darn small. It's most likely related to the usb drivers not installed properly.

If it is lots of question marks, it means that the language it is set to isn't installed on your system (it's probably korean).
Click the set of question marks which are second to the right at the very top. A menu will appear. Click the first option. This will open a new dialog. Click on the top drop down and the second drop down to change your language. Then click the button on the left and it will have the right language and country.
I forgot to change the language once when I was flashing a kdz and I got a bit worried because it was just a load of question marks, but the program should still work fine even if you can't see what it is saying.

Running the LG Mobile Support Tool on another computer worked fine for me. I was getting all ???? ?? ?? ? ? ???? ?? and the program would crash.

Major problem with SwiftKey X (Keyboard app)

Hey developers,
I'm using the Switfkey's keyboard on my Desire phone. There is a problem with the French ponctuation, in particular with exclamation mark and question mark. In fact there is no space between the last word and the mark. I hope that one or several developers can solve this recuurent problem. Since the start of the app, the developer doesn't solve this problem.
Thanks in advance

Swiftkey is a copyrighted product so I think that what you propose can't be easily achieved. Not for distribution anyway.
Legal stuff aside, I'm not even sure what you mean.
What I was able to make out, when you type it automatically formats the text like
erklat!

But you want it to be like this
erklat !

It that is the case, you are doing it wrong. It is not supposed to make any spaces like that. No keyboard does that.

LG Keyboard update

I don't know if this merits a thread or not, but I figured it warranted mentioning.
I just received the LG keyboard update. There isn't a changelog readily available, but I'm assuming this is the update that learns what you type on a per-app basis, and includes whatever other changes (what are they again?).
One difference I am noticing right away is that as you "swype" now, the word(s) you're passing your thumb across automatically appear, as opposed to appearing after you've finished the word. The swyping appears to be more accurate, which was one small gripe I had before. The other thing I'm noticing that makes a HUGE difference for me is that spaces aren't always inserted when you've selected an auto-correction. It's difficult to explain but makes a big difference. I'm obsessively picky about keyboards, so I'll keep dissecting the update as I use it.
Nice update. Anyone notice anything else find something worth mentioning?
Oh, right. And now words bring up emoji. ?. I could go for some right now.
Thanks for the heads up, just updated. Could be placebo but it does indeed feel a little snappier.

It's in the app drawer. Called Update Center
TONS of difference in lag. Can actually have all of the features activated and still type effectively. Word suggestions are now bilingual without having to switch the dictionary at the bottom (if you have a bilingual option selected). Works great for speaking spanglish...

nice!!! :good: :highfive: hopefully it stays that way...
In had switch to Google keyboard because of the lag. One more try hopefully the lags are gone

Totally agree. It's far better than it was.
It sucks. Can't compare to google or swiftkey
I recently switched from Swype because of massive lag and bug problems. I must say the lg keyboard is just as good if not better in some respects to Swype which when working i think it's haha down the best keyboard on the market. Very impressed with lg's keyboard attempt on this phone.
I got the update. Then i had to replace my g3 (camera issue) i dont have the update for the keyboard. I go to apps update and the keyboard is not listed. I am almost positive that it was listed on the other g3

Did you try signing in the your LG account? Also, just curious what the camera problem was on your other device?

Three LG software updates - July 25th

I had auto updates on so my phone only told me that three updates were done in the Update Center. No log of what they were.
Anyone know?

Those are not system updates, they are the LG apps that got updated like lg keyboard and other stuff from LG. Not sure why they can't put in the play store like HTC, Motorola instead of having one more useless app store like Samsung.
No one said they are system updates.
Software updates from the LG Update app. I already did the Keyboard update days before, so it wasn't that.
3 other packages were updated.

It's not an app store like Samsung, it's just an internal update system. The two are really different.
I don't care for the keyboard update. It messes up a lot of the auto correct.

I find the update did better for autocorrect than it did before plus I love seeing the word I am swiping go through the transition.

Try typing the word "you'd". Does it recognize it? Also, try ending a sentence with the word "at" and then type a period. Does it switch it to e.g.?

Why would we want a keyboard to decide what you should be saying?
I have an English degree and I frequently use intentionally bad grammar for various reasons. This is a huge reason I can't use Swiftkey either. Both of them are hell-bent on turning your typing into a single style with a concrete set of rules and patterns. Let ME decide what I want to say.
