[Q] About the OTG

İm using Sabsa Prime v16 with pacha 3.0.16 kernel. My question is i cant enable OTG support ( on kernel tuner ). when i click otg ON and go back. OTG automatically return OFF. İs there any solution this problem or i do sometihg wrong. Can i enable OTG support without kernel tuner. İf i do something wrong can anybody say how i enable OTG on step by step

You need to read the instructions carefully

1) İ patch PachaRX VS4 2.3 kernel,
2) i bought OTG cable
3) İ download USB OTG Helper as said
but still having problem r there another instructions?

I have this problem for a long time but i found some new things about this problem that want to share it with everyone , so i decide to create a new thread , so you can share your ideas to fix it also i found a way to use it Temporarily
my device info:
lt18i , android 4.0.4 , build number 4.1.B.1.13
rooted , bootloader unlocked
installed UHDv4 ROM and UHDv4.8 MOD with LuPuSv16
who have this problem ?????
my problem is :
i want to use (wifi/usb/bluetooth) tethering , everything is good just after removing wifi modules from lupus menu ( just for a minute )
after a while i can't use wifi tethering when data is enabled
*****The only thing that I did not notice, it was option 3 , you will read it in the following*****
so i decide to use another kernel : so i should to flash a wifi module from CWM but after boot up i don't have any wifi but (usb/bluetooth) tethering works good
i also tried to remove lupus wifi modules before flashing new kernel
So I went back to LuPuS
***** i found a new feature i should do the following to make wifi hotspot works when data is enabled ******
i have 3 options:
1 = first enable data then enable wifi hotspot ***in other words*** enable wifi hotspot when data is enabled = works
2 = first enable wifi hotspot then enable data ***in other words*** enable data when wifi hotspot is enabled = this will make the problem
i should just do option 1 to make it work , if i do option 2 , the problem starts and i can't make it work with option 1
after that the problem starts :d i can't use it again to solv the problem , for example
but i found a new option for make it work
3 = enable data then reboot ***in other words*** reboot when data is enabled , without removing wifi modules
if i do option 3 , i can use option 1 again without problem
uuuhhhhhh so strange problem
i think my phone have problem with set the internet ip address for tethering

what about option 1 & 3 , can they help you ? do you think it is from "set the ip address ?

When I use option 1 & 3 then is all working fine. I dont really now what this mean "set the ip address". Im not a developer!

you can't solv it by changing a rom or kernel , you should flash a FTF with flashtool to solv it
here is what i did :
i flashed LT18i_4.1.B.1.13_Vodafone DE.ftf with flashtool and it works now
after that i flashed LuPuS kernel and UHD ROM and UHD MOD
it is still works very good , now i can turn on wifi hotspot when data is enabled whithout any problem , everything is good now
i suggest you flash LT18i_4.1.B.1.13_Vodafone DE.ftf For increasing system and data memory for Arc user and latest BB

Hi I think I find how to fix it
You can flash a ftf via flashtool to fix it but this way will wipe all your data
we can flash a ftf but without flashing system, kernel, baseband and without wipe data
You can choose which one you want to flash
So select what you don't want and leave unselected which you want in flashtool

OTG USB Support required

Hi all, I'm running CM 11 at the moment. I need to have On The Go USB support. CM 11 doesn't seem to have it. Do I have to enable something or flash CM 12 maybe?
I'm trying to run this:

CM doesn't support USB OTG on our device. But you can flash Sense based SVHD v2.1.0 by mygamers. It has built in support for USB OTG.
And there are few other Sense based ROM which supports USB OTG functionality but i'm afraid it won't work with CM11/12.

Righto, in a bit of a bother.
Running the latest version of Team Win recovery.
Installed SVHD and the Aroma buttons didn't work.
Changed recovery to the latest on the Desire Project site.
Installed okay but WiFi didn't work
Installed Team Venom ROM but the Aroma says it's installed but it's not.
Bootloader installed Team Win recovery again however when I try to install any ROM it just fails. I've not flashed it so many times that it's worn out.
The phone when I put it back into recovery flashes the recovery for a second then continues to boot to the now ROM less phone.
How can I make my phone back to rooted original state? This is the most problems I've ever had with the phone.

I have had same problem installing Aroma and touch doesn't respond for-Next installation. I've found solution installing CWM v 5.8.1.5 touch working for Aroma. Go on google play store and download Rashr -flash utility and install cwm v5.8.1.5 from xda or internet. I have installed ViperDHD 3.0.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1960734 with OTG support. To use OGT you need to install Kernel Tuner from google store and enable OTG . I can tell you honestly- ViperDHD 3.0.1 is the best rom I've ever test it and run like Formula F1 on my device. Together with greenify my stand-by power consumption is 4 mW. Other rom with OTG SUPORT is this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797660 .
Give me like if helped to solve your problem.

I had rooted with majestic and I try the majestic module of (wifi extender) but it is not working for note 5 pro
I had try with another too of ( wifi replier ) project but it is also not working

Try to downgrade your OS to MIUI v9.5.19 or v9.5.22-China.
Those version supports enabling Wi-Fi and Personal Hotspot at same time.
Because of ARB, downgrade using fastboot is recommended.
