Bluetooth Distortion on Earpiece. - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Having an issue where when using my BT earpeice, after about 5 mins the audio gets distorted and I can barely hear them, and they can't hear me. Now if I press the headset button on the dail screen to go back to the phones speaker and the press again to go back to the earpeice, it works fine again, for another 5 mins.
I'm all stock on the latest update. This happens on my att and verizon s3. Using a blue ant q3 earpeice which I've replaced already think it was the issue.
Any suggestions?

System sound when having headphones plugged in.

Hi,
I noticed that when you have your headphones plugged in, some system and notification sounds still come from the speaker. Is there any way to change this except muting the phone or outting it on vibrate?

Not that I could find, Never noticed this on previous phones. I use a wired headset on my motorcycle and control the phone music or radio volume with the headset button. I can hear the time by clicking 4X and adjust volumes etc. but the phone still rings on the device when I get a call. Makes no sense. Headphone should mute the phone speaker period. If I mute the device I cannot hear the TTS Time announcements but can hear who is calling......
+1 to this
Neak kernel has an option to fix this in advanced audio settings.

Is it my phone or car?

Long story short: When I have my phone paired to my cars bt,it takes about 5 seconds for the phones audio(the caller) to b heard from the car. So pretty much, I pick up the call pressing my cars button on the wheel , I can then hear the caller on my phone and I tell the caller to wait a few seconds bc I can't hear them (car speakers are still ringing as if tough I never answered)
I am starting to believe it's a problem with the phone because I tried CM and the stock rom, and still having this very annoying issue.

Microphone issues

I've been having microphone issues ever since I got my samsung gs3 a few weeks ago. People tell me that my phone sounds like it's on mute or that suddenly I'm faded away because people will say "hello? Are you still there?" Meanwhile I can still hear them fine. It happens on almost every phone call. However, when I use the speaker or my bluetooth headset then it works fine without problems. My phone is not on mute and I have turned of noise reduction and the option to mute phone when turning phone upside down.
Is this a known or common issue or does my phone need to be replaced through samsung warranty? I searched this forum and several other sites, but it doesn't seem like there is a fix.
Thanks.

Janky call volume

When in a call, especially with some background noise, irregular call volume. Sometimes very low or absent, then suddenly very loud. Volume keys don't smoothly regulate. One click can make call volume. very loud. No, hearing aid setting is off. Anyone else notice this?

I do...but was gonna blame it on my Bose Bluetooth.

I have noticed that on every phone I've ever used. Landline, cell phone, it didn't matter. At work, our office phones are hit and miss with every call we take, even from the same people using the same phone. It's a connection issue, not a phone issue.
Fixed by increasing volume while on call to max, then min. Phone reset. Now, perfect. This was very likely software problem with noise canceling microphone.

Bluetooth issues

So in my line of work, I use bluetooth all day long for 10 hours. I have had the issue of Android not responding when I press the Call button on my LG Tone. It takes more than its fair share of pressing before the phone responds. So I went ahead and applied the Google Now service through the Bluetooth Launch app because I hate S Voice. Still I have the problem. I need a phone that will respond every time I press the Call Button. I end up frustrated because I have the same problem on every phone I use other than an iPhone. I don't want to make the switch unless I have to.
I have noticed that if I turn off the Bluetooth set and turn it back on, it recognizes the first two presses and then its a dice roll all over again. So is there any way of making sure it constantly works when I press the Call Button on the headset or not?
Sucks on the L9, Galaxy Nexus, S3 and S4. I am using the LG Tone headset.

LG Tone sucks on all those phones? Hmmm...sounds like you need to try a different headset.

I agree. I've had cheap headsets and expensive ones. There really is a difference (sometimes) so I would definitely try another headset.
