Just install CM 11 based on 4.4.2 Version M2 and I installed latest release i.e. on 2014-03-02.
I got 3 issues
1. Wifi continuously scanning ( I selected region code to USA and it start showing wifi networks but after connected to my wifi after reboot wifi was not connected but it shows all available networks. To fix this I flashed 3 files that can be found here and it fixed all wifi issues.
2. There is No external sd card found and still having this problem. I tried to fix it by flashing CM10.1-AOSP_fuse-mountsd_6.4_HMkX2 , after flashed I rebooted phone and run this command fuse-mountsd.sh via terminal but it doesn't fix and I got error in terminal i.e. following
you have a mmcblk0 devices with internal + external storage but mmcblk1 isnt' here did you plug in a card
Any fix for external card ?
3. Phone keep on restarting when I call to any number via dialing or select saved contact.

Hello everyone.
Big mess since this afternoon because of my dear desire.
I was surprised by connecting my phone to my pc to charge it to see my phone restart itself.
After an unbearable moment, my "precious", with a custom rom (OpenDesire 3.5), starts mode android naked.
Let me explain, here is what does not work anymore
- Any GSM network detected (neither mine or any other)
- No access to the contents of the SD card
- No recognition of the USB device
Here's what I did to test:
For sd:
- Formatting the SD card under Windows and Linux> still not recognized
- change card> still not recognized
- Copy of a file on sd> is not seen with Astro File Manager (File sdcard empty)
For USB:
- No icon in the notification area
- Enable / disable debug mode (windows wonder the driver cdma)
For the operator:
- Test my simcard in another phone> phone ok
And here for the manipulations that I get different results:
- Parameters / SD card and Memory> "sd card up" grayed
- Under Rom manager> SD Card not mounted
- Under Astro File Manager> sd card empty
- fastboot> recovery> ok on the phone, is activated, but does not detect device with pushfile (idem windows/linux)
- install rom official "RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.3"> does not detect the phone
I'm beginning to dry.
Is it possible to flash the phone from the sdk without using the SD card?
I also think it would be possible to do a lot of things with Rom manager (installed on the phone) without the requirement to have an SD card mounted
Thank you 4 your h3lP.
Hello everyone!
I have rooted HTC Wildfire with cyanogenmod 7.1.
When I plug it in PC via USB everything seems to be ok.
Then I copy some files >5MB to the sd card.
At the begining transfer looks good, however after 10s transfer stoped.
USB connection is lost and the problem appears every time I try to copy files on my SD Card.
If I try to do it by Remote Deskotp via Wi-Fi everything is ok even with large files.
If I try to do it in Recovery mode the speed is very low (about 1,5MB/s) however it works.
I also checked today CN 7.0 and last NIGHTLY - the same issue.
The second issue appears rarely. After lost usb connection my phone gets freeze and I have to pull my battery out and reset it
I have searched all the Internet and nobody has problem with lost connection on Wildfire. Everyone has problem with extremly low transfer speed via USB...
But I cannot copy files on my SD card through USB
Please help me
I also have the same problem with CM 7.1 Stable. Connect a USB, computer detects it and after that I disconnected. In my case, does not block my phone.
Is there a solution for this problem?

OK, I have KERNEL: 2.6.35.14-nFinity.
Can you tell me which kernel helped you with the problem?
The same as yours...the usb connectivity for me works... have you tried to flash another rom?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I have checked CN 7.0, CN 7.1 and NIGHTLY full-239 - the same issue.
Now I'm using nightly full-239.
There must be problem with writing on SD card. Few houres ago I took 2 pictures and I got a message: SD disconnected.
Ofcourse capture pictures had not been saved and I had not have access to SD card.
After that I rebooted my phone and took more then 10 pictures and everything was OK...
SD is brand-new and on Android 2.2 with sense everything worked.
When I reading anything from SD card there is no errors. They appears during writing.
Backup your SD data somewhere, perform a full format (Not a quick format), and try again. Also, are you using any A2SD scripts/apps?
Do you mean full format of SD card? I think I have tried to do sth like that...
I have only quick office on SD card however before I have done it the issue has also performed.
Then I guess you have to for elimination of options. There can be only two cases - Bad SDCard or ROM issues. While I personally don't think it is a ROM issue (I use CM7 myself, and transfer stuff to my phone over USB on almost a daily basis), you can try going back to the stock ROM to check if the issue persists. Alternately, try borrowing an SDcard from somewhere else(If you don't have a spare), and check again (Preferably, after reflashing the ROM)
I have taken some trials and here are the results. If you don't have time read my summary please.
I change my max mhz (from 691) to 576 and then:
1) pull out my "bad" 8GB SD and insert my old 4GB SD
(reboot caused by taking out/in SD)
-I copied more then 800MB on it with no problems....
2) Insert again "bad" 8GB SD (no reboot)
- copied more then 500MB with no problems...
So I have changed my max mhz to 691
3) the same sd
- copied 800MB and everything seemed to be OK, however my phone got freeze. Reboot necessary by pulling the battery out.
-copied once again 800MB music - THE SAME EFFECT
As previously, the home button was able to back to home screen
and after disconnect usb cable there was information about it in upper bar.
So it wasn't full freeze however reboot necessary by pulling the battery out.
4) Back to 576 Mhz with no reboot
-Unfortunately point 3) and battery reboot
5) Correct reboot
-as above then reboot caused by taking out/in SD.... (?)
6) Thanks to reboot caused by taking out/in SD file transfer at 576Mhz was completed and phone did not get freeze...
7) Changed to 691Mhz, in/out SD - without 'auto' reboot...
file transfer completed without getting freeze !
SUMMARY:
SD card is good - Brand-new, micro sd Sandisk 8GB SDHC
When I take out/in my SD card it may cause reboot.
Thanks to taking out/in both at 576MHz and 691Mhz file transfer via USB works correctly and phone don't get freeze.
Transfer speed is ~2,5MB/s in all causes.
There was also no problem on the stock ROM (android 2.2.3 with Sense)
I really do not understand it. Can anybody explain me what the matter is?
To my mind it is not normal way to complete transfer with a good result...
I can add that my min frequency is all the time 352MHz..
Hi. I have a Samsung galaxy S i9000 running a Jellybean 4.1 custom ROM. androidadvices. com/ update-galaxy-gt-i9000-stable-jellybean-411-firmware/#.UDJOV91mT9d
Everything's working fine until today when my laptop (Win7 OS) froze up while I was formatting the internal sd card of my phone.I restarted the laptop and phone and the internal sd card cannot be detected by either device anymore.
I tried to format the sd card multiple times to no avail. I tried to flash stock GB ROM. ODIN can detect the phone but cannot complete the process. It fails on "Setting Up Connection".
Up to the above process I was able to use my phone (it turns itself on, just can't use internal sd card). However, I made a stupid mistake of doing factory reset, cache wipe, and dalvik cache to reflash the JB ROM in hopes that it will fix it. Now, my phone is stuck on the Welcome screen (one with Choose Language and Start to setup) but the touchscreen isn't working so I can't select Start. The buttons on either side of the center button works, though. Only the touchscreen function is not working.
Now obviously, USB Debugging is not set up on my phone so I can't do a lot. My first question is: Is there a way to setup USB Debugging using ADB or from Recovery?
Additional info:
Recovery and Download mode are both working, although like I mentioned above, I cant reflash stock ROM because of no usb debugging and it fails in Odin. File Manager can be accessed from Recovery but it has no internal sd card directory. External sd card is ok, though, as well as the system files. But cannot install from internal sd card (obviously), cannot format sdcard, or do anything that has something to do with sdcard. It gives an error "E:\ can't mount sdcard"
When I connect the phone to the computer via USB, the phone "knows" that it is connected because the notification beep sounds and on Computer, it shows a new drive name (F but it says "Please Insert a disk into Removable Disk F.", which I believe, means it can detect it but cannot mount the storage.
I can also use adb.
So my questions are:
-How do I get the touchscreen functionality back?
-How can I enable my internal sd card to be mounted on the phone again?
-(same as above) How do I enable USB Debugging from adb or recovery?
I know I have a lot of issues on my phone but I would really appreciate it if you can help me. Thank you.
Did you find a solution?

Modded my first phone, no I am quite inexperienced:
I installed Cyanogenmod successfully. Unfortunately the camera terminates right after I start it. My guess is, it has something to do with the SD-card. A different Camera app from the PlayStore shows an image at least but prompts me to insert an external storage (sd card) before it can take a picture.
Actually there is a new sd-card with 16 GB inserted. I can access and browse it in the file manager and in Settings -> Storage the sd-cards size is recognized an I can mount/unmount and erase it.
Changing from Android 4.1.2 I did this way:
rootet like this, installed this custom recovery and then installed Cyanogenmod by Macclaw following this tutorial + GAppsMicro.
Due to my problems I wiped everything again and installed Cyanogenmod 11 by TeamCanjica. But same problems there.
Hello,
I have exactly the same issue.
I went to newest version of [ROM][4.4.4][TeamCanjica] CyanogenMod 11.0 (cm-11-20140807-UNOFFICIAL-codina.zip) + Micro package of GAPPs due to free Space on internal storage.
However after installation of the new system I realized the issue with Camera / Gallery what seems to be caused by a not correctly recognized external SD card: Error message: "No external storage available"
I red some Threads about this issue and have already tried following without any success:
Permission fix at platform.xml http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2743840
IntSD-MountFix from AIO-Toolkit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2338577
Format SD card with boardtools of CM11 system
Format SD card at PC with FAT32
Does anybody have a different idea to fix this issue?
Any idea is more than welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Bastian
Now I tried CyanogenMod 10.2 by TeamCanjica. Camera asked for sdcard again... although inserted. But some moments later it suddenly worked... :/

Hi folks,
Lineage 16 (latest version) is now installed on my S5, however when I connect the USB, the phone just shows as 'SM-G900F' on my W10 PC and cannot be expanded, basically no Phone and Card folders.
I can see them in the phone no problem, but once I connect it, I am not prompted with the usual message on what I want to do, like file transfer etc. and on the left menu appears only the model of the phone.
I had no issues when I flashed the original firmware, so it must be related to Lineage.
I also installed the Android USB drivers, but no go.
Changing the USB Preferences, to PTP or File Transfer only allows me to see the phone folder but no SD.
I also tried a new SD, no success.
Any thoughts?
Thank you,
Alex

I have re-flashed everything and started from the beginning.
lineage-16.0-20190918-nightly-klte-signed + open_gapps-arm-9.0-mini-20190921
SanDisk SD Card 32GB, either way I try to format it does the following:
Phone Storage: attempt to invoke virtual method 'java.lang.String android.os.storage.VolumeInfo.getId()' on a null object reference.
SanDisk SD Card unsupported
Portable Storage: When I hit format, it says: Your Card is ready to use - I click Done but still the cart shows in the Storage area as portable Storage SanDisk SD Card Unsupported
The card is OK, also because if I flash the original ROM the same card works perfectly and shows up in my PC too.
This is very annoying, I am stuck on this for days and even trying other cards I get the same.
I hope you can help me to resolve this matter.
Thank you!
Alex
