I Just installed and rooted my Tab 3 7.0, then I known my phone will listed as Custom, do you know how to reset flash counter since 3angle away didn't support our device?

Damn !!!
No solution
Just deal w/ it until Chainfire update the app and add the device to supported devices.
Btw, I read here on another thread that updating/upgrading the device using KIES may help a bit.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S Duos (S7562) and I rooted it but none of the custom ROMS available suited my phone so I want to unroot it now and set the flash counter to 0. I've identified the first step, i.e to download the original firmware of the phone for my country. I've downloaded the firmware successfully from www.samsung-updates.com
What should I do next? I'm using the latest version of Superuser.
Ok I managed to successfully unroot and reset the flash counter.

hi looking to unroot before selling and im unsure what is latest firmware if anyone can help,im on orange(ee)uk,thanks:good:
Hi tonybhoy, I don't know what the newest version is but you can update to the newest stock firmware using Kies. It will completely wipe and unroot your phone. However, keep in mind that it will not reset the flash count in Odin mode.

I dont know if orange has released 4.3 but you can also install 4.1.2 but prior to flashing new firmware just reset binary counter and system status using triangle away app.

Also note that you must have root acess to run this app.
While trying to update my tab 3 8.0 (rooted) an error appears saying my device has been modified.
Is there anyway to fix this? Thank you

try unrooting and run the update again
You cannot update any device if you have modified it like rooting it or putting custom roms/kernels. The makers don't want you to modify the device. If you want to update remove any modifications to your device. So yea.

To be a little more specific in case anyone comes looking....You need to odin/kies back to complete stock and/or most importantly return stock RECOVERY and boot image, best to just completely wipe and odin. Same with any Samsung
If you have installed supersu, there is an option in settings says "unroot" tab on it

Recently our 4.3 update just rolled out for our region. My question is would i still be able to root and restore all my apps using my TitaniumBackup?

Just rooted my phone using Kingo
Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100
Build XXUEMK4 (India)
Knox Bootloader
WITHOUT tripping the Knox Counter!!!
Though Device status shows "Custom"
Can be taken care of by Using Xpose Framework & Wanam
Thanks.
Major.
Search the forum for further instructions.
Forgot to mention that i have Galaxy note 2 GT-N7105.
Would it be possible to flash 4.3 via odin then just root again. This is coming from a stock rooted firmware.Would the new bootloader cause any problem in rooting. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it does.
So there will be no trace and it will say my device is official in settings

From what I read yes. But there are certain internal alterations that techs can see if they looked deep enough. That guide should set you straight if you're simply attempting a warranty exchange. (Depending on where you purchased device)
Thanks I also asked square trade and rooting does not void a warranty
