This is the list of problems i faced when tried cm-based/stock-based roms
all CM-based, CM itself (10.2+):
1. ear-speaker: you won't hear in skype, viber csipsimple etc.
2. ear-speaker: you won't hear a caller (regular gsm line) if headphones are plugged in.
3. Battery life: each hour consumed about 6%-8% doing only background sync with display turned off. That's very-very bad.
stock-based (V5)
1. Knock-on feature. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. You can't rely on it at 100%.
2. GSM signal issue: phone may lose gsm conection during normal usage (crossmark appears near gsm-signal level) My device loses it for about 30sec, several times a day.

I haven't had any of the problems you described lol. In fact, just about all 4.4 ROMs I've tried have almost as good of battery life as stock with MIUI (4.2.2) having even better battery life than stock. :3

Lol exactly I don't know what the OP is on.....its probably because he is only using CM 10.2 and not CM11.........I don't know why he would even post since many are not even using CM10 anymore.......CM11 is so much nicer

I've absolutely had every problem the OP posted including poor GPS tracking as well. Performance on the 4.4 ROMS is greatly improved compared to stock, but I certainly get horrid screen on battery drain and lack of signal quality. I also struggle with obscure wakelocks with 4.4 ROMS, and that includes CM11, Commitio, Vanir, Candy Kat and Beanstalk. I've tried several. Not trying to dispute what you're saying, just confirming that the OP's statements are legit.
Hence the reason I personally keep going back to rooted, de-bloated, stock and using ROM Manager to set my governor. That has given me the best battery life, stability and relatively decent performance.

Give Carbon a shot. It's my daily driver now that Oblikas updated it. As for the bad battery, give the OC'd kernel that uppon2 posted here in the general section a shot. Besides OC, the kernel has definitely improved overall performance and battery life on my device since I started using it.
To fix the GPS tracking, flash the EFS backup you should've made on stock when you used freegee. My GPS locks on instantly.
As for the "low signal," stock ROMs display higher signal than what you're actually getting. When you use an AOSP ROM, it shows what you're actually getting. If you pull up the hidden menu and check the dBm, that's your actual signal strength. I get the same dBm on AOSP and stock, yet stock shows full bars and AOSP shows 3 and my speeds are exactly the same.

I've seen some threads on QuickRemote on the apps forum, but have you guys successfully ported QuickRemote onto non-stock ROMs without issues?
The only issue I've had on custom roms is that my mp3s skip and stutter while playing them. I've tried about 4 different roms and they all do it. The only way for me to listen to my music was to go back to stock.

Do yourself a favor OP and get a zero lemon battery and then try the CPU quiet kernel in the general section.....I'm getting 3-4 days on it with medium use......I use titanium backup widgets to freeze apps that have annoying wakelocks and greenify as well.....I'm currently running the Beanstalk 4.4 ROM and it is better than any ROM I have ever used

To be honest, I recently tried vanir again. Was not disappointed by the speed at first. Then I was, and disappointed by battery drain, connection issues, NFC would stay on, and a lot of other stuff. And yeah, I've gotten quick remote to work flawlessly on vanir. All you have to do is flash it

most of this issues you have discribe were a result of dirty flashing. people not clearing all data before flashing because they didnt want to reinstall app. battery life on all 4.4.2 rom is almost as good as stock and i have had no issue with hearing people while talking, dont use skype so not sure their. call waiting ringer is only calling issue i had but turning on call waiting vibrate would let me know i had a second call and worked for me.

It seems like there are many things changed and/or fixed in FD24 build [rom/kernel/modem]
FD24 ICS OTA is now availabe and you can download it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619474
Big thanks to kc_exactly for his post and ACS team for providing the download link.
Update: I just updated another phone from Stock Rooted EL29 to Stock rooted FD24.
I tried to update one of my stock rooted EL29 phone following the QBKing's guide but no success for rooted phone (downloaded OTA version). So, used sfhub's no data FD24 one-click odin method. No wipe at all and just flashed over EL29.
Before: EL29 modem/EL29 Rom/Rogue EL29 recovery Kernel/rooted.
After: FD24 modem/FD24 Rom/Stock Kernel/rooted.
There was nothing special and just used sfhub's one-click odin. Everything worked like a charm.
Please post your findings in here.
First Noticeable change made - notification bug fixed (sfhub reported).
Menu -> Settings - items rearranged. System updates separated from About phone
'Activate this device' menu added to settings (with improved options. You can update the profile and prl from here also)
For me, I'm getting one or two more voice signal bar after flashing it. I need some people confirms that - if this is true, the battery life would be great in this rom!
*3G*
So far, battery life is not bad at all. - 1 hour 50 minutes - 4% used (mine only and based on my usage)
update:
3 hours - 6% drop with 3G.
3 and half - 7%. About 1% drop in every 30 minutes so far.
9 hours - 20% with 3G. This is real big improvement and my test was focus on the battery savings during the idle time (only with my tweaks and not using any battery saving apps). Now I'm planing to test about battery consumption only using wifi.
*Wifi*
With same condition, I've tested wifi battery consumption and it was not good when it's compared with 3g battery consumption.
6 hours - 20% used with wifi turned on all the time.
*4G*
*Turn Off everything - Voice Signal Only*
Update: To extend your battery life even more, check this thread out - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610741
Collections of changes - FD24
Reserved for collections of changes.
Some update related screenshots added.
*What's working or not *
.flac format music not supported (jerrypp)
wifi icon changed. It used to have the up and down arrows showing the traffic - moved back to previous version - weboide
Chrome is fixed? (satur9ine) - Nope. Bad scroll stutter, some locking up (kingdazy)
bluetooth devices wouldn't autoreconnect/autoconnect - fixed (Compusmurf)
bluetooth "bug" that's still there (Compusmurf, Dchibro)
JabraClip still isn't able to pair with my device (beast4romtheeast)
when screen is off bluetooth voice activation does not function at all (grncherry)
getting force closes of the email app in combined view only (Kamrondroid, sqb33, jamesey) - replace the emial app with previous version (workaround)
Battery timing is much improved then previous leaks but wifi reception has suffered ([email protected])
* still big discussion is going on in everywhere about the scrolling, camera and bluetooth devices. Many users reported that scrolling is not smooth but more people reported that it's better than previous build.
*battery life*
Battery life is really great for me. I tested the battery life during the phone is in sleep or idle mode. So far, this one is the best rom I've ever been used. Battery life could be different based on the signal strength and phone usage. So this result is only based on my usage and limited in my location. But generally speaking, this would be the same trend in your situation also.

I can not play .flac format music

Nope. Screenshots were taken after my tweaks. I'm using flip font as default.
The wifi icon changed. It used to have the up and down arrows showing the traffic.
The scroll seems faster.
It also seems like the fading (when it goes to sleep or wakes up) is slower, more noticeable than FD19.
Signal seems weaker at first glance, but haven't really looked into it yet.

Very very nice to hear from you steady in here. Does this mean you are doing something, right? Was waiting for your rom long long time.
Wonder if the Wi-Fi may be related to a change in other Wi-Fi settings... I don't get my E4GT back full-time for another 12 days but I'll definitely have to test my particular issue once I can get it to the office. I'm optimistic this meant they stuck with what worked on GB and just recompiled the driver for ICS.
8 days without a fix hopefully means they squashed a lot of bugs. May also (hopefully!) mean we're getting another step closer to OTA.
If anyone has a peek at the official changelog can you please see a PM? Have a few ??s to see if maybe it will hint if the issues were addressed or not.
A bluetooth "bug" that's still there:
On headsets that had BT audio AND phone, you used to be able to unselect the BT audio profile and it would stick. This no longer works. On reconnect, the "disabled" profile will start back up each time.
Ah well, not a big issue, I can force it off in my headset. LOL

Not bad so far after I plugged out. 1 and half hour - 5% used (Actually measuring started from 98, was not fully charged).
Actually this is great for me based on in my reception area and my experience with other roms.
So far, there's no one else talking about the battery life yet. It's too early to say something.

Mine was already doing this on previous builds. It's annoying because having media audio connected to my Sony car stereo causes my phone to randomly reboot. Then again, that's a symptom of bigger problems with Bluetooth ... for me anyways.
I just rooted my phone and installed CM10a couple days ago. I love jelly bean and having my phone debloated.
My question is.... are there any roms or settings on the roms that can help me get get better battery life? The battery life on my gs3 is good but not great... I selected the powersave feature on the CPU governor, turned down my brightness, turned off gps and bluetooth. I have been thinking about installing juice defender but I have had it previously and got tired of turning it off when I streamed pandora.
I am a pretty heavy user... about 1-3 hours of screen time per charge. I have seen some pretty rediculous stats out there and would like to be able to achieve a full 24 hours. :fingers-crossed:
I had my gs2 rooted and it seemed to get better battery life than the gs3 (rooted vs rooted). There was no comparison when it came to stock vs. stock.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Could you please elaborate how I should go about switching to that setup from kernal version 3.0.42 and the nightly CM10?
I have also had problems figuring out how to properly backup with nandroid or titanium. I can never get the backups to load
I am ready to try pretty much anything to try and get some premium battery life and performance.
I really appreciate your help and input. THANKS! :good:
Basically ya download the up to date versions of the aokp ROM and the KT kernel for aosp jb. Then ya open to recovery and first go to backup/restore and make your nandroid. You can decide whether or not you want it on internal SD or external. Once that's done ya wipe your system & caches like ya did for cm10. Then flash the ROM. After the ROM then flash gapps & fix permissions and reboot. Let the ROM settle and then boot to recovery, clear cache again and flash kernel then reboot. My instructions are a broad guideline though. I'd make sure to fully read both the aokp & kernel OP'S to get a warm and fuzzy on what your doing

seems like you are new at this so let me add a new thing, the S3 has amazing battery currently 9 hours up time and 1.5h screen on time and still 50% left and that is very light usage. Usually I listen to music play games watch movies and after 12 hours i still have about 10% left.
For starters cycle the battery a few time. Charge 100% and let it die 0% not charging in between, take out the battery and put it back in. Let it charge to 100% and and do this a another 2 times during a week. This will will use all the cells in the battery and should give you a boost. I have herd following above but charging while off may help, but cant confirm.
The next thing to do is remove bloatware or app you will never use, some of these apps will just load up in memory and use up your battery. Most apps can be disabled in Settings > Application Manager > All. Things like Allshare Play can be disabled, some apps like video hub may have gotten an update that needs to be removed before it can be disabled, this is the same as freezing in Titanium Backup. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DISABLE BECAUSE THERE MAYBE NEGATIVE EFFECTS.
This is what I have done and my battery has been amazing and never use power saving mode, actually i took it a step further and downloaded system tuner and disabled non essential apps like Vplayer from even booting at start-up.
Flashing different kernals and ROM can greatly improve battery life but you loose OTA and forced to wipe which i got tried of doing so i stick with stock. Waiting for CM10 to go stable then i will switch. The S3 stock is still snappy and never lags and for me battery life is very good.
thank you both very much. I just installed the AOKP rom and I will try the power cycles next time my battery dies. One question on the AOKP... One other question. My network constantly switches from 4g to HSPA to 3g. When my phone was stock it would stay on 4g (lte) 99.9 %.. is this normal? I would prefer it to stay on 4g. I also think it might hurt battery life since its constantly switching even though lte is a battery hog.

What rom are you on? I'd love mine to switch to 3g the majority of the time, LTE is such a hog, there's no way that switching it down is going to use more battery than staying on LTE full-time.

That's completely unnecessary. My Nitro hasn't been wiped since CM9, and generally CM does NOT need wipes when upgrading itself. If you're coming from other software or third-party ("UNOFFICIAL") builds of CM, do wipe.

What's your recommended way to update GApps?
I originally updated through CMUpdater, then flashed GApps (perceived I had some issues, but not sure now). So I reverted to backup and flashed the CM10.1 Zip and GApps Zip in CWM Recovery at the same time.
@aremcee
Did absolutely not know that. Thanks dude. Updating OP.
can anyone running latest nightly check if MHL is working?
Just checking in on this new thread. Installed the first CM10.1 nightly the other day, and it was flawless. No reboots or anything yet. Everything is smooth as can be, even on conservative governor. Somehow significantly better than CM10 stable . Also, the 4G toggle sticks now. Have updated to the latest nightly, and it's just as good.
Only complaint I have is of the new homescreen widget format. They now leave a lot of blank space, making the widgets themselves smaller while taking more space. I'm not sure why they did that.
Edit: Never mind the 4G toggle still malfunctions randomly. But I have finally found a workaround! Just turn off mobile data, change it to LTE/GSM/WCDMA, and then turn data back on. The thing is smooth as anything though.

So what's the idea on battery life? I know it's relative to each individual's use, but CM10 w/ light to moderate use had a 7-8% drain/hr and when using the phone you could watch the battery life just drop.. Is it still the same w/ 4.2.1 (CM10.1)? TIA
Has anyone had a problem syncing their exchange calendar using the 02-10 build (perhaps others too) after a fresh wipe? My Google calendar syncs properly, but no work events.
Also, I noticed if I use more than 5 rows of home screen icons, that I lose the text/titles below them.
Any tips appreciated!

In case anyone runs into the same issue: I found a solution: if you turn on automatic syncing in email for the account, the calendar app will update itself. Seems to be working fine now.

Not so for me, see battery dropping 1-2% per minute even only being used moderately, it seems that Quattrimus with Wind kernel gives EXCELLENT battery life but it's LTE doesn't work for Canada and GPS doesn't work. Now I'm suspecting LTE might be an issue for battery problem in Canada, even when I'm connecting only at 2G and 3G, need to do more test.

Bundled kernel. I hardly use the device but i can push about 3 - 4 hours screen on time. Standby is good to... About 5 days on standby with an hour of screen on.

I switched the governor to smartassv2 and clock speed to 192/1404. I'll run it like this for a few days and see how it does, I'll post results. I run GreenPower Premium (similar to Juice Defender).
Installed on a P936, but cannot connect to LTE network. Only HSPA is connected. Returned to CM10 and LTE is ok.
Anyone having the same issue?
Edits: just found out I forgot to set APN. Now it is ok.
Noticed steady battery drain even when idle... BetteryBatteryStats showed "AudioOut_2" causing partial wakelock. I disabled every app that I thought could be causing it and it was still there. Finally I unchecked 'Settings > Sounds > Touch Sounds' and the pw disappeared. So far so good- battery drain seems to have slowed. I'll continue to test.
What kernels are you guys using to get governors?
K....I apologize if I missed it, but didn't see a stock jb thread....aside from the one from months ago that has a billion posts. I think a new one is not unreasonable.
Anyway... just curious about what others think.
After debloating it heavily....all T-Mobile and Samsung junk gone and a lot more....and stopping apps from auto starting with autostarts...I'm pretty happy!
GPS took about a minute to lock first time ...but now its quick. And accurate.
It is super smooth after a day of settling.
Going on 14 hours on battery with light to moderate use and at 59 percent left. Seems on par with most stuff I've ran.
I do miss some of the customization ...which will lead me to start flashing soon I'm sure. LOL
But overall....I'm impressed.
Anyone wanna share, ask questions or debate?

Doesn't really matter now though because I can't flash anything based off this official tmob update because every ROM I've tried with it either bootloops or FC`s constantly. A real shame, I looked forward to this for so long, I assume it doesn't work because I have the koodo t989. Waiting on the Telus version to be released.

I have a T989D also and I've been able to get it to run perfectly fine for over 24 hours.
I have version 1 of Infamous S2 and I had to flash it, wipe cache and dalvik, reboot let settle for ten mins then flash the newest radio or it would keep dropping my koodo radio.
I think the key is wiping cache and dalvik after you flash it, I did also do a full internal wipe and installed from an sd card though.
I didn't see a huge increase in speed. Although it does feel a little smoother.
The increase in battery life has been huge for me though. On ICS I had a terrible average of about 6-8 hours depending on light to moderate use. On Jelly Bean I'm averaging 10-11 hours on more than moderate use.
Do you have a list of what you removed?
I also can't flash any recoveries except the old cwm so that's probably part of my problem.

That's pretty decent battery life and what I used to get when on the stock 4.0.4, but my battery life with this one has been worse. It drops below 50% after 4 hours off the charger with the same amount of use as before. I noticed in a developer thread a screenshot of someone getting great battery life as well. Did you root and debloat?
It seems like the OP was able to do that with some success. I really like the performance otherwise, much better improvement over 4.0.4. OP, are you rooted? Also, I searched the Play Store for autostarts and saw a few different options...would you mind sharing which developer's autostarts app you're using? I saw one that's paid and a couple that were free. Thanks!
EDIT: The other thing that's frustrating is when a new text comes through, it just says "New Message Arrived." I used to be able to change that in 4.0.4 to where the text would display in the notification area, but I can't find that on this version. Wondering if TouchWiz did away with it or it's because of my corporate password policy.

The 10-11 hours is even more amazing to me because I've been using my phone way more than usual (Simpsons Tapped Out is addicting)
I did do a full recharge/drain a couple times after upgrading, so maybe that may help you.
These are my steps in case you want to give it a try.
(On a full charge 100%)
I used odin to flash back to ICS stock unrooted
I then used kies to upgrade to JB
After the upgrade, I went into recovery and did a wipe/factory reset for good measure.
Unplugged phone and started setup (Disabled some tmobile bloat)
Used the phone until it ran out of charge.
Charged the phone completely .
Unplugged and drained it completely again.
K....not gonna quote a bunch of stuff....but in response to a few things.
This was my experience, but trying to use the tlle4 Telus radio left me frozen at bootup mostly....I got in a couple times, but it wouldn't let me save my apn settings and I had no signal. Flashed the new jb radio and manually had to enter apn settings, which saved this time...and I was good. Tlle4 has better signal where I live, but the new one works OK.
What did I freeze? Well, mostly anything with T-Mobile or Samsung in its name. Now everything is working fine, so soon I will uninstall and delete them completely.
I use the app specifically called Autostarts. It is a paid app....but gold to me. I stop any app I am familiar with and don't want starting by itself at startup or other events. Especially maps!! Otherwise it seems to run all the time. I disable it in autostarts anywhere I find it. Then it only runs when I start it.
Think I got most things that were directed to me covered.
I also use advanced task killer free. I do not ever autokill apps. I use it as an easy way to kill things after I run them that don't close properly by themselves. Like maps and Canada's the weather network app.
Last night when I plugged in my charger I was at 24 hours and 3 hours screen time with 22 percent remaining. So stock seems no better or worse than most other jb roms I've used.

I'm Telus. Works good! Try flashing the new radio. Then rom. Make sure to wipe cache and davlik after you flash...then reboot.

The new message thing was bothering me too. After seeing your post I looked more closely at the settings. Open Messaging and then open the settings. Under notification settings check preview message. Now the text will display in the notification area like before.
The JB this phone got is crap. Doesn't the same phone for att Skyrocket get ripple lock screen and multi window? Also we can NOT download the voice files for offline voice recognition.
The Skyrocket port of JB for this phone can do all of that.

I'm using the Embryo rom now. I did try installing the new stock JB rom but it just can't compared to some of the custom roms. I haven't try the roms by ptmr3, Rushing, and Jamison. I'll probably wait for a few more updates before trying the tmobile JB roms. I missing using Wifi-calling sometimes but the Embryo is just a very good rom.
Hi Guys,
i have a bit of a problem with the battery in my GNex maguro.
I'm an avid Rom flasher, but when i have something that works well i usually settle with it for a while. So i flashed Cataclysm (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1995801) sometime in the last months and it was running great. Best bettery life i had so far.
Then with the release of Android 4.4 i looked for a rom to test it. I flashed XP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2539201) and i really like the 4.4 changes.
But since then my battery won't even last a day in standby mode. I thought maybe it's an issue with 4.4. still, but even after flashing back to Cataclysm (newest release) i still had the same issues. I thought it may well be, that the final version isn't what it used to be, so i flashed another rom again. This time Purity (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012706) aaaand... still the same problem. So now i'm pretty much lost. I also tried different kernels (lean kernel specifically) but to no avail.
My battery used to last 2+ days in idle mode. Now i can see my battery drop every minute. It barely holds over 10 hours. I already did a full phone wipe and flashed back to stock before installing cataclysm again but still no improvement.
I hope someone can help me here or point in the right direction.
Sorry if this topic already exists, but the search funtion doesn't seem to work right now and google didn't show something helpfull.
Thank you all in advance.
I don't know why you would still have bad battery life moving back to the original rom you used but.. on 4.4 it is most likely the new Google Now features that constantly listen for voice commands. Disable it by long pressing on an empty part of the home screen and go to settings. Slide Google Now Off and go to voice and turn off hotword detection as well.
I get great standby battery life on 4.4. I'm running the 11/29 ART build of cmetal(toro), 150ish hours of uptime without any issues so far.
Re: Bad Battery Life since KK
What kernel are you running? Are you just using whatever kernels come with each ROM?
I'll try turning off google now and the voice stuff and report back.
It still seems really weird to me, that the problem still persists after flashing back to 4.3. My guess would be, that 4.4 flashes something hidden that messes with the battery. But i don't know where or what.
Especially since it persists after a complete wipe (/data, /system and /cache).
Well, i'll see how it behaves without google now.

Well i used mostly lean Kernel with 4.3 roms but i can't find any 4.4 kerneles besides CM. I have XP installed right know which uses CM Kernel.
Re:Bad Battery
Make sure your governor is set to interactive or ondemand...it could be seeing power drain from being set to one of the performance settings.
It's also possible that your battery is just going bad...do you have a backup battery you can try?

It could just be that you need to replace your battery. They are only good for so many charges and do degrade.

Reporting back. After deactivating google now yesterday my battery is still ****. It's at 50% after 2h idle and 30 minutes screentime. Before the 4.4 flash it would be at around ~85-90% now. I suspect that 4.4 flashes something in some hidden partition that i don't have access to, that messes with the battery. Users on other boards report the same issues as i have.

Just checked. Governor is set to interactive. It's also the default setting.
I sadly don't have a backup battery.

Could be, of course. But it's kinda weird that the decline is so dramatic and it has to be a pretty big coincidence that it just happend after a 4.4 flash. Seems unlikely to me.
edit: I'll order a new battery just to eliminate the battery as the source of error.
Mine is pretty bad but it's running google play to death so maybe gapps flash was bad? dunno

Same problem here. Since I flashed Kitkat on my phone, battery life isn't enough to last a day on standby. I tried installing another kernel (ASKP) but to no avail. Please keep in mind that I'm not very experienced with custom roms and rooting my phone. Does anyone have some good tips to improve battery life?
Update: After fiddling around a bit with better battery stats, greenify and a bunch of other stuff... i still don't have a solution. I made some screenshots of my stats, but can't post them here because i don't have permission to do that...
So i reflashed swordrune's cm11 rom and it seems to be working better with 1080p kernel w/o art enabled. i'm 11 hrs in with 80% battery on the extended battery (toro btw)

are u sure greenify didnt helping??? already got rooted & exposed installer running??
can u state your screen on time??
usually gnex can handle 3-4 hour screen on depend on battery condition n phone performance... not include idle n stanby time.

that will help.
if u lightweight user, i suggest u to optimized performance. use apps such trickster mod, rom toolbox, or in addition of any light battery saving apps ( for optimization)
should be improve on screen time.

Not to hijack your thread, but I'm also experiencing battery issues after flashing the XP 4.4 rom. I did enjoy it but the battery drain was terrible. Not only that, for some reason my charger drains on a 1A charger but charges slowly on a .7A somehow. I only have 1 micro usb cable so I can't test if it's the cable and I can't find any apps to check the current speed. I tried downgrading and flashing to Slimbean but so far it's been no dice.

Ok, back again. hibernated every app and system-app that was running in background. Still wasn't getting better. I then saw the only services still running are google location services. I deactivated them now to see if these are causing it.
The biggest wakelocks i have are "wlan_rx_wake" which seem to be a known problem with KK:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2519294
I then researched again and found several threads in google groups which describe the same problems that i have. Across several devices (though mostly Nexus 4, 5 and 7).
Google seems to be aware of that issue and is working on it.

Yes, same for me. Charging is really slow since 4.4 as is the bootprocess of my phone. From the first vibrate when switching the phone on it takes ~10 seconds until the google logo pops up.
i dont know any about gapps issues bcoz not running any gapps in my phone since last year.
1. try searching for updated radio.img (baseband/ radio) if got any network issue.
2. try install trickster mod app. this app can help you for tweaking into deep sleep, also help for optimizing.

Hmm I don't know if this is going to resolve the charging problem but i will try it and also try and use a battery calibrater and come back.
