You can fix it by giving relevant information to the people who will potentially be helping you.
Which roms did you flash?
Has your total or available dropped to 3GB??
Can you provide screens of storage details???

yes i am sorry. You are right. So,I have flashed a series of omega ROMS : Omega V18, Omega V19 up to Omega V23, As you see the available space is now 3.8 gb after i uninstalled some apps.

You can solve this by using a program called diskusage.

deleting those 0 folders wont affect anything it just hold your old data that was used by previous rom if u explore you will find your previous data and u can simply delete with any file explorer even with my files

I'm gonna take a shot at the dark here too... maybe you also still have a bunch of Custom ROM zip files on your phone (the files you used to flash in recovery). ^^

What I did

[Q] How to get my apps/games back from my second partition after factory reset?

I have been using Link2sd for a while now and just wanted to know is there a way to get all my apps/games back after flashing a new rom or after factory resetting my phone.
There should be coz all the apps and there data, .dex files and lib files etc, are already there on the second partition. Isn't there anything I can do. I just dont want to reinstall everything again.
if you didn't wipe/format the 2nd partition, all the files will still be there, just select "relink library files"

I did tried "Relink lib files" option but still nothing.
Wipe your partition and reinstall.
I think link2sd just move app, lib, and dalvik-cache if i'm not wrong so data still in internal and will gone after flashing.

Well I guess I can't. Can it be done using other apps like a2sd, data-2d etc.

Yup you can. But for a2sd must move data app to sd-card, usually use titaniumbackup.

error insufficient storage available

hello, i have a problem with samsung galaxy note 2:
I got root permission (by Chainfire) and I did the reset of the counter with triangle away ( I have also checked in download mode and it says that it's fine).
Anyway every time I try to install any application from google play it says error insufficient storage available and that's false! I have 10gb of free space on internal sd.
I tried to install many apps (especially busybox, the one I was trying to install when the error appeared first) but I couldn't install anything from google play.
The only 2 apps I could install were a root file manager and link2sd , but to do that i had to place the .apk file on the esternal microsd with my computer, browse for that and launch the installation.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Go in you applications setting chose play store and delete cache

I tried this method but it does not help
Had the same issue yesterday - over night the system took over 4gb extra space . Factory reset solved the issue.
I used to get this on my Desire HD, even with loads of space left available. Clearing Play Store cache would fix it for a few weeks and then it would happen again. I've yet to encounter the problem on my GN2 though.
I'm having the same problem on my Galaxy Note 2 n7100 and it's really annoying me now. I've tried EVERY solution possible but nothing works...
Delete Play Store cache
Un install Play Store updates
Search for and delete Odex files
Run Lucky Patcher
Run MarketFix
Boot into CWM recovery, delete cache, delvik, fix permissions
I've even done 2 complete factory resets, downloaded the apps again and then used Titanium Backup just to restore the app data... Nothing works. Once the apps are reinstalled it won't let me download and new apps or update apps (well, SOME apps will update, others won't).
I've got 8gb of internal memory, over 30gb of SD card memory and over 800mb of memory on the internal partition.
Can anyone offer me a solution that will fix this issue??
install root explorer,go to the carpet data, app and search the app wich you have problem to install and erase it,and with that yo should be able to install it, it works for me
this is an example with the app that was causing me problems com.maxmpz.audioplayer-1.odex all id this was delete it

Hi
What are the luckypatcher and the Ext2SD hack?
Thanks for your answers.
This issue is cause by people using app2sd apps. Sammy phones can't use app2sd as the system sees extsd as the path which is not accepted by the system.
If you have app2sd installed remove it and reboot.
If you using Rom Toolbox change the app2sd feature to automatic.
I had this issue a few months ago and this solution worked for me.
via XDA Premium HD - GT-N7100 - Omega Rom - Neak Kernel - TWRP Recovery
Solution to your problem!
Found the solution to this!!
For everyone that is getting this error you probably have Link2SD installed, simply go in the settings of the app and go to where it says "install location" then simply change it from external to automatic!
Let me know if it works for you guys!

how to erase securely the phone memory

Please any help on this...
I install several diferents roms, but I noted when I explore my storage, I find I have this folders:
-Sdcard0
-extSdCard ( this its my external sd card 32 gb )
everything its ok, but in my last installed rom ( MSG& Chubbs ) I noted this, in my Device memory ( Phone Memory ) named "Sdcard0" I have differents files... ok, but inside this folder I have ANOTHER folder called "0" and inside this "0" folder I have another files and a lot of them its the same names files ( alarms, android, aokp, application, autodesk, bell cache. dcim, download, etc etc etc ) ..
I try to reinstall any rom and before install the rom, I wipe cache- Dalvik Cache - Factory reset - and wipe System too...but when my phone start and I begin to work on this I see The Device memory its the same.. I have the Sdcard0 folder and inside I have the same "0" folder with a lot of same folders...
please How to clean this memory to only have one root folder? because I don't know if I erase the "0" folder or move the others folders inside the "0" folder or viceverse... maybe I brick my phone?
please any help?

If I remember correctly isn't the 0/emulated folder just a symlink and not actually taking up more space? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what I read a while back. If you wipe data just make sure to back your stuff up.

You're not going to brick your phone.
Just backup everything you need to your computer or sdcard. Just wipe everything, but don't wipe system or external storage and you should be fine. The worst case senario if something goes wrong afterwards is to reflash your Rom and gapps, which should be on your sdcard as well before you begin and your phone will be ok.

Where did my files go after flashing?

Hey all,
Was bored and needed to update my phone with a new rom so I did some scouting about and found Beanstalk. Now this rom is awesome but previously I was on CleanRom which is also an awesome rom.
When changing from Clean to Bean I used TWRP and wiped Cache, Dalvik and Factory reset. I never wiped system (I know I should have).
Now after doing so, I lost all data files (images, videos, music, etc). I would like to retrieve those. Upon looking through the root directory, I could not find them.
So, any ideas? I'm stumped but I am not giving up. Storage details says I have 10gb, available 2.5gb+. Now where did the 7gb+ go? Also my 6gb for my system as it is a 16gb N7105.
If more info is needed just ask. List all you need to know. I am gunna do some other things that does not involve wiping the device.
If you open up explorer and check the internal sd. You should be able to see a file labelled "0" check in that folder.

Factory reset doesn't wipes internal memory.
Maybe twrp setting was set to /media(not sure which folder it is) directory for internal memory so it wiped the internal memory too
〽 ???✌ ?? ????Ⓜ?
There's plenty of apps on playstore that can do a full search for internal memory and show the largest files. I think a good one would be Memory Maid.

Hello all
Thanks for the feedback.
So what I have done is flashed a new kernel and recovery which is called Devil. I got this for the dual boot feature and within flashing a rom as I noticed a folder called legacy. This folder contains my previous content. All music folders etc.
So I rebooted went onto a few root explorers and could not find it!
I've enabled root and show hidden files and folders. Went to the root of the phone and checked each folder and all folders within and still cant find it.
Recovery shows: /sdcard/0/legacy - Old
Root explorer: /sdcard - New
Root also has another folder storage, with 4 folders; emulated, sdcard0, sdcard1, usbdisk0.
Emulated has 2 folders; 0 and legacy. Both display the new files.
Sdcard0 shows new files.
Sdcard1 shows microSD(Need more disk space for roms)
Usbdisk0 has no files.
This is a mind game. I think the rom created a new system within the old system files and it can't access out but the recovery can.
I have tried mounting the phone to the Pc via recovery but it won't pick up.

Hello all,
Thanks again for the support!
I resolved the issue. The issue was, AOKP based roms create a new file system for the System. It created it within /sdcard/0/legacy.
When I flashed a Sammy based rom and checked the file manager I was able to see all.
So for all who are coming from Sammy to AOKP, please be careful and back up all SDCard contents, regardless if advised it will not affect Internal storage. This is the first time this has happened since G1 days.

I think so becuase I've recently installed the CM on my device, did a factory reset with the CWM recovery but both the internal and external memory (SD) wheren't touched at all, all the files and folders remains where they was.
So it's normal, right?
Yes mate.. when doing the 3 wipes it doesn't touch internal storage. Its only when you wipe either internal storage or /sdcard.
I had to format my sdcard and wipe all data after I transfered it to the PC. This fixed the file system issue but changing from aokp to sammy will do it again and again. Bit annoying. But hey, its always good doing a clean up.
All i had on my phone were a load of pics and vids by camera and 3 albums. All of this would take no more than 2gb.
Camera was 600mb. So where did 5gb go to? So there is a lot of crap from rom changing, ALOT.

what option deletes my android folder in TWRP recovery?

hey guys its been kinda long since i last flashed but i was changing my rom to magio and as a usual procedure i selected dalvik cache,cache,system,android_secure,and data to wipe...after the wipe installed rom and fired up my phone...then was restoring a game..after i restored,to my horror i saw that my "Android" folder(which keeps obb and data) was completely wiped
i have no idea how that happened as i never selected sd_card wipe
so does the data wipe option also delete the Android folder?
i remember clearly that in the old days i did select data wipe/factory reset in recovery but it didn't remove my Android folder
Using latest TWRP 2.6.3.0 btw
