When i enter download mode i have the Knox status of 0x0. So my question is can i downgrade to 4.1.2 using stock firmware? I ask because i heard only MK3 and above cannot downgrade back, so since mine is MK1 i can downgrade?
And will the knox indicator remain there? Or i'll get the old status without the knox indicator in download mode?
Since I'm not rooted, I don't have EFS backup.
Basically if i go Flash 4.1.2 firmware will I lost IMEI?
Thanks, i'll appreciated any help!
Didn't try to go back to stock 4.1.2, however I used miui (4.1.2) after I was using stock 4.3.
I think it should work using Odin.
And You won't have knox on 4.1.2.
(just don't forget to wipe data).

Hello guys,
i'm selling my note 7105 cause i bought OPPO find 7..
here i've a 4.4.2 slimkat rom and i'd like to give it to a friend but with stock rom ( he doesn't play with roms..)
now.. i've read here and there and it's not possible to go back on 4.3 ? is there anyt STABLE (real stable ) custom rom then?
i've read that 4.4.2 official is going to be out soon so this might " save " me !
is there any way to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3?
is this Ditto DN3 v4 RC2 worth to try ?
should i install some earlier bootlader if i decide to get back on stock rom?
thanks for all info
What bootloader do you have? If you went from 4.1.2 to slimkat then you should be able to flash any stock rom. The problem is going back to 4.1.2 with the 4.3 bootloader. If you install dn3 you will either have to flash stock 4.3 first or use agni/devil kernel to get wifi.

lol.. don't laugh...
i thought that being on 4.4.2 implies i've that bootloader
i tried to find the version on recovery and system info but,...??
where can i find the info abou tmy booloader? i know it sounds noob ... have patience
thanks
Something like this should tell you

AFAIK you can't flash bootloader through recovery so if you were on 4.1.2 when you flashed slimkat you will still be on that bootloader. You should be able to flash any stock through odin if you are on 4.1.2 but if you were on
4.3 you might not be able to flash 4.1.2. If you do flash 4.3 with odin you will get knox

i installed that app and at OPERATING SYSTEM info i get:
OS NAME Kit Kat
Os Version 4.4.2
Boot Loader Version N7105XXDMC3
.... ???
I'm pretty sure dmc3 is 4.1.2 so you should be able to flash anything. I'd flash the stock 4.1.2 for your country with odin run triangle away then unroot and everything will be stock

If you currently have the ll7 bootloader then simple.full wipe and flash 412 will be fine. You need triangle away to reset binary counter.
Hi first of all I want to ask that I had stock 4.1.2 when I bought the phone, rooted it, flashed mj5 bootloader and successfully flashed the xperia z-ized rom based on 4.3 on my N7100. Then I wished to switch to dn3 rom but I still did not like it so I reverted back to stock 4.1.2 and updated to stock 4.4.2 via OTA updates. My question is, while updating via OTA to stock 4.4.2, can it be possible that I lost my mj5 bootloader and it was replaced by samsung's proprietary bootloader?
After using stock 4.4.2 I thought to check out the LS rom so I rooted, flashed philz recovery but the ROM does not boot at all and while trying to revert back to stock 4.1.2, ODIN displays the fail message. What did I do wrong and what should I do to overcome this? Thanks.
You've locked your bootloader because you upgraded to latest official which also comes with Knoxx.
i have stock 4.4.2 NF2 bootloader , what i need to do for change it to 4.3 ?
and is there any way to unlock hidden languages in 4.4.2 ?
Any attempt to downgrade the bootloader will cause a brick. You can, however, flash a 4.3 rom via custom recovery it will run on your current bootloader. Wifi may not work without using ktoonsez kernel though.

Sorry if this is yet another return to stock question.
I'm currently running a custom 4.4.2 ROM but am having some data issues. I'm wanting to return to stock to get OTA to 4.4.4 so I can get the updated LTE radio. Here's my question: If I flash the stock firmware, is it going to prevent OTA updates since I still have the MDL bootloader? My phone's out of warranty so I could care less about knox. Should I flash stock 4.4.2 or go all the way back to 4.3 (if that's possible/won't brick my phone)?
Current setup:
ROM: 4.4.2 - Insane KitKat V11 (Really like this ROM btw)
Kernel: 3.4.0 talexop
Baseband: NB4
Bootloader: MDL
Thanks
Nandroid, flash 4.4.4 NH7 firmware, flash recovery, then restore nandroid
