my phone never came with any stock recovery. had 'factory mode' not recovery when holding those bottons. In factory mode, no option for flashing anything. Now phone only restarts on bootscreen and then on-off. initially tried flashing TWRP just befor bricking phone but adb gave error like this 'partition not support flash and i had already flash a boot.img for b125
b608 version of my phone was a brick was b118 installed, there is a solution?
sorry my poor english, I'm from Turkey, please help, please..
Both of you should try to flash the stock recovery! You can download it here www).androidfilehost.(com)/?fid=23252070760973625 (just remove the brackets) .
Then follow these steps:
1. Put your device in fastboot mode ( > adb reboot bootloader )
2. Flash recovery via fastboot ( fastboot flash recovery recovery.img )
3. Reboot via fastboot ( fastboot reboot )
Afterwards try to reboot to your stock recovery . Then you can simply install over the update.app a fresh Huawei Firmware

Have you tried using the 3 buttons combo to flash stock firmware?
Download any UPDATE.APP put inside your sdcard inside a folder named dload so it should look like:
sdcard/dload/UPDATE.APP
Then just keep pressing Power+Volume UP+Volume Down buttons at the same time. this will force your phone to to into recovery (either TWRP or Stock). If this does not work try the following.
While Pressing both Power+Volume Down buttons connect your phone to the PC, it will look like the phone is again "stucked" in Huawei Ascend Logo, then usging a cmd inside the fastboot and adb folder type
fastboot devices
If you get any reply from cmd just flash twrp recovery again (manually this time)
How can he try update.app solution if he has custom recovery, he does not have a stock recovery, so your solution is pointless.

Pointless?
Have actually read what I wrote? He said, the program he used told him it succeed and now his phone is stuck. So it migth have worked or not, meaning that TWRP might or not be succesfully installed in his phone. And I also wrote that if that doesn't work (Meaning he can't boot to recovery by the combo) he can try to reboot the phone to fastboot and flash again either TWRP or Stock Recovery back to the phone...
So your reply was the pointless one here, not mine...

That's fine! That means your phone is booting into fastboot.
So now you should try to manually install TWRP to the phone just download TWRP recovery from this Thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2534420
make sure to download latest version, and then rename it to twrp-recovery.img
After that put the file inside the folder where you have fastboot and adb.
type again fastboot devices and make sure you get the same output from CMD (a lot of ? signs)
and then type:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-recovery.img
after that
fastboot reboot
the phone will try to boot into system, if it fails try the three button combo and the you should be able to boot into TWRP Recovery.
Good Luck!

Hello,
my problem is after trying to revert back to the stock rom I messed things up and I can't get back to fastboot mode.
But I will describe what I did. First thing I did many weeks ago was the installation of cyanogenmod 11 KitKat on the P6.
All worked fine except for the high power consumption. Because of that I decided to switch back to the stock rom.
To do that I have made the following steps.
1. I downloaded the Jelly Bean firmware from the official huawei website. (I can't post the link since I'm a new user)
2. I used the download extractor to extract boot.img and recovery.img
3. I flashed them via fastboot
4. I prepared a SD card with the update.app in the dload folder
5. booted the phone with volume buttons pressed. Update process started but failed. There was no error message only a huge FAIL message.
6. After that I switched back to TWRP recovery what worked fine
7. I build a flashable zip file with the update extractor of boot.img, recovery.img, system.img, cust.img, userdata.img and flashed it via TWRP
8. Than I realised that I mistakenly included the recovery.img which overwrote the TWRP recovery
Now the phone always starts to the huawei logo also when starting with volume buttons pressed. I can't access the fastboot mode anymore.
When shutting it down it reboots instantly.
My questions are the following.
* Can a corrupted recovery block the access of the fastboot mode or any mode to access the phone via USB to flash a new recovery?
* Are there other ways to reset the phone?
* Was it a problem to take a Jelly Bean stock rom after a KitKat installation?
* If the phone is bricked, do you have any suggestion what to do with it? Is it worthless now? Sell on ebay? Hope this is not necessary.
Thank you so much!

When you say its bricked does that mean that it gets stuck on huawei ascend logo? If thats the case than you should be ablr to enter fastbboot since thats the sign you are in bootloader mode.

Well that is what I thought too, but I can't get a connection via adb or fastboot.
"adb devices" lists nothing. When connecting the phone via usb to the computer there is no log entry generated on the computer like it's the case with other usb devices.
I tried different usb cables. I'm unsure how to be really sure whether I'm in fastboot mode or not.
Before flashing the zip everything worked fine so it's very unlikely to be a driver issue or something related to the computer I think.
i have the same problem and i cant communicate with the device in any way but what happen to me that i download a wrong recovery img.
if someone can help please
i fix my phone and get it back to the stock recovery ::victory:
Can you please share how you make it? I have the same problem...
I fixed it by replacing the motherboard using a very detailed tutorial on ifixit.
The P6 is not build to be repaired by the customer but with the right tools it was ok.

I turn the phone in the debug mode and flash the stock recovery back you enter the debug mode by press and hold on the volume down then after it the power for 10 sec. after you plug the phone to the computer via usb then download this file: 4shared.com/rar/9HO06Lpjba/p6_stock_recovery.html
and then unzip the file then open by order
1- adb-windows if you have windows
2- fastboot-windows
3- install-recovery-windows
and restart the phone and you have the stock recovery back
I have the Zenfone 2 and it is stuck in bootloop.
My brother boot it to CWM and flashed Paranoid Android without unlocking the bootloader and flashing TWRP. Now the phone stuck in bootloop, i tried flashing system.img the stock one but it is telling me that system.img cannot be loaded. What should i do? It is now bootlooping. I dont know what to do.

Go to Original Android developement. It's in the pre-rooted thread, these are the ONLY img files for roms available unless you push the zip file using ADB...
Flash the system zip file rather than trying to flash simply the .img. The zip files are in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/development/asus-zenfone-2-rom-t3054956) and might help because you're also flashing default recovery... could be CWM.
Also try flashing using fastboot.

1. download the latest recovery from here https://dl.twrp.me/Z00A/ and firmware from here http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE551ML/UL-Z00A-WW-2.20.40.97-user.zip

3.the adb driver should have installed in your pc OS drive [ which is C: ] put the downloaded recovery and firmware in that folder [where adb is installed] then in that folder, open command window by pressing shift and right click and a dialogue box will appear then open the command window from there and enter this command fastboot flash recovery {name of the recovery twrp something}.img then connect your phone to your pc and enter bootloader in your phone and press enter in command window.
4.after that put the downloaded firmware in any sdcard and put it in your phone then open recovery mode in your phone and go to reboot>recovery [yeah you have to reboot the recovery] then when recovery open again then go to wipe>advanced wipe> and select system, data, cache, dalvik and internal storage [internal storage is optional but if you choose it then it will wipe all your data in your phone] then wipe it and go to install section then choose the extsdcard [it should be written internal storage click on that then you can choose your external storage] then in the extstorage choose the firmware you downloaded and just swipe to flash.
5.patience ..because it would take time and maybe get stuck at 52% or 59% ..so just let it take time for installation [btw connect your phone to thr charger in this process]
6.after it done then reboot your phone and ALL DONE. [the first boot will take some mins to boot up]

Hi everyone !
Yesterday, I wanted to wipe cache for some reasons, and I stupidly restarted the phone while formatting cache.
Result :
-A bootloop at the firt restart, then a "Error !"
-Can't acces Recovery mode, "Error !". I tried power button+volum up, don't work.
-ADB don't work anymore, I can't see the phone via adb devices
The only thing I can do is execute fastboot commands in Windows. I successfully made a tethered TWRP recovery, but I seriously don't know what to do from here. I tried flahsing a ROM, but it didn't worked (still have Error !).
I tried install permanent TWRP (unofficial), but I can't acces it. Probably because my bootloader is locked.
So... what should I do ?
Fastboot format cache should do the trick.

You can always sideload stock roms from there.

You need to follow the steps in this thread to install drivers and adb package first. Fast boot firmat cache is the command that you should type in on your PC.
Just a thought but instead of trying to install anything through adb why not instal a pre-rooted rom img through fastboot too. You can always wipe out root with the next OTA...
I have already wipe cache and now boots up properly but the problem is that touch screen doesn't seem to work...
