Are there any pure stock restore methods for our tab yet sorry been lurking the forum for about 2 hours and haven't stumbled upon it yet. I have not done anything to my device yet but want to have my escape route planned first.
I have been only using Nexus devices for the passed while and Wug really spoils you with his tools.

Hi guys, so out of nowhere, my phone is only getting Edge data. I was getting normal H+ and then only I'm getting Edge. My mom has an S3 as well, only not rooted, and has perfectly good signal. I'm using Shawn's AOKP ROM, I've reflashed it, I've flashed Paranoid Android (these are the ROMs I use the most) and I still get Edge.
Edit: all right so after a slight scare, I've managed to generate an imei and restore it, however, I still got Edge afterwards, further reading yielded that I need to inject imei, back it up, and then restore it again. Currently in the process of backing it up will report back!

Hopefully by now you have fixed the problem. I know there are threads still floating around here in XDA regarding imei. Do a search here in XDA or Google how to restore lost imei. I know there are several. Good luck & Godspeed!

Hello, I was looking into purchasing a G2 or vibrant since I was selling my Nexus 4. Anyway the one I want has a broken USB, and is stock. Now the guides I've read require USB at some point, but I was hoping another route is available.

No i don't think that is possible because you need to push files on to your phone.

My screen isn't working and I had rooted via framaroot however I recently unroofed with framaroot. I would flash stock however my phone is unusable as the screen doesn't work although I will be sending it In for warranty. I recall my download mode status as official with no flash counters. Will Samsung find that my phone was rooted even though I had unrooted and that my download status was all official?

Can anyone tell me how to root with heimdall? I could never figure it out with any of my phones, always borrow a pic but I don't have one accessible to root my note p600

As far as I know Heimdall for Linux isn't compatible with this tablet so I'd be surprised if it works on Mac either.

Not having a PC is the only thing standing between me and the true AWESOMENESS of this tablet... just a few more weeks!
I have a Verizon note 2 i605 running VRUEMJ9 I would like to unlock the bootloader to flash roms or install a 2nd bootloader. I am rooted. I'm curious how I would do this I've searched around and have found nothing. Also I was wondering since 4.4 kitkat is coming out how would I upgrade if my phone is not activated. Thanks in advance

This subject is posted all over the place, you can not unlock the bootloader right now, it is just not possible. We are all hoping for it, but we don't have any choice but to wait. Safestrap is not compatible with the phone either right now. I'm not sure about the non-activated update, but I don't see why it wouldn't work like normal.
