I use the pc install of cm 11 and it worked although it was a bit wierd my snappea kept coming up but in the end it worked. I noticed another update so i dl'ed and started to install but not I can not not make it past the cm logo. I can not make it to twrp. Any suggestions?
Pull battery out..
Go into recovery by holding down volume up + home + power..
When you're in CW recovery, run the CM installer..
You'll be back to normal again.. Don't update again..

hi all, my wife has been running cm6.1 and lately it has had a few issues, so i go to download through rom manager, it fails downloading several times, download on a computer and transfer it over, boot into recovery through rom manager(i feel retarded for this one... no back up, didnt wipe) and install, well, it goes to the cm boot animation, sits for a long time, then i remember i didnt wipe so i attempt to get back into recovery and wipe, well, some how, the phone managed to go back to the stock recovery... needless to say i became very very confused...
does anyone have any insight?
thanks in advance
If you havent s-off, then you probably will see stock recovery and need to flash the update.zip to get to clockworkmod. I think i remember that right.

i finally did get cm 7 up and running, and in rom manager it says that i have the latest availible clockwork recovery, but i can only get to it if i rebot to recovery through rom manager, if i go through the boot loader, it takes me to the black screen with the ! in the triangle, then after several button pushes takes me to stock recovery
This happens because ROM Manager reads the altered 'update.zip' from your SD card and it is recommended you use that program (app) to do all your loading and ROM stuff. Though if your phone is powered off you can hold Volume Down and power then after getting to the Triangle "!" screen pressing volume up and power gets you to altered 'update' screen.
Hello all, as the title states. my Note 2 is stuck in a bootloop. Originally I had the Liquid smooth ROM flashed, I have been running this ROM for several months with no issue. Yesterday I tried to flash the Blissstalk ROM using the usual method: TWRP 2.8.5 > Full wipe > Flash Blissstalk > Wipe dalvik/cache again > Reboot system. Phone loaded up fine went through setup and installing apps fine. I put my phone on charge last night and woke up this morning to it stuck on the Bliss bootscreen. I pulled the battery and tried to boot to recovery (Vol up + home + power) instead of loading recovery my phone went straight to the bootscreen. Tried 3 more times and then 3 times to get it to boot to Odin. Nothing happens other than it goes straight to the bootscreen and gets stuck. Not sure what to do now and looking for a way to, if nothing else, return it to stock so I can start fresh.
Did you try the 3 button combo with no battery and then install the battery with the 3 buttons still pushed? It may sound crazy, and it's tricky too, but I'm hoping that you haven't tried that as to it may be the fix you're looking for.
Make sure you press the vol up+power+home key and keep it pressed until you see the Samsung logo appear. Your switch might be a but loose

Okay, so I flashed Xposed from this thread.
Unfortunately, it put me in such a bootloop, I went straight to recovery after the Tab 3 logo. That's when I knew, I goofed up. So I flashed @nels83's CM12 zip, and my tablet randomly turned off, and the flash failed.
I then went over to m' charger, plugged in, reflashed and booted to the system. It went good, except that all my Google Apps are crashing and all the AOSP apps were there. I then went over to CM's reboot menu and rebooted to recovery. Except, it didn't go to recovery. My tablet turned off.
Right. I then held my Vol+ and my Power button, and went to the OS. Not recovery. Crap. I turned it off again, and I tried to reboot to Download mode, because I thought my recovery partition was corrupt. Vol- and Power. Still boots to OS. Crap.
I goofed up, can you help me fix it :/
Os version? I never flashed xposed I just downloaded the installer within stock kitkat and it installed itself and done. Go back to stock kitkat and wipe before hand. Use odin pit file that thing and start fresh on stock kitkat
Hey guys,
I just installed CM 13 and everything went smooth , but now I am stuck at this blue CM logo with the white eyes. Here is how it happened :
I completely wiped my phone with TWRP ,
I installed the newst CM 13 Nightly with TWRP , ( and did not reboot )
I installed GAPPS , then reboot
Everything was working well, until I tried to install SuperSU ( I did not know CM 13 gives root access )
I then Installed SuperSU 2.52 with TWRP , and reboot
Now I am stuck like I said above.
My phone wont turn off or go in recovery mode , no matter what buttons I press for minutes. I literally cant do **** and LG PC Suite does not find my phone.
I cant open the case of the phone easily because it is covered with a skin. I have to remove the whole skin , which was very expensive, to open the phone. Its really the last thing I want to do.
Please help me

I don't know how else you would turn off your phone, but with a battery removal. (maybe there's other way)
When u manage to do that, run it into recovery mode (TWRP) wipe everything like you did for installing CM 13 and GAPPS, just DON'T install SuperSU.
(I read it somewhere that you don't need SuperSU on CM 13, because it has built-in root access, which you can enable in developer options)
+ I couldn't get SuperSU to work on my CM 13 too, tried about 5-10times with different versions of SuperSU, always ended in bootloop(blue CM logo with the white eyes).

Your mistake was flashing SuperSu it is already built into Cm13 you just need to enable it. Has for opening the phone you will need to pull the battery I'm afraid one of the downsides of flashing roms is every now and then you may need to do a battery pull and if something goes wrong so you will need access to it.
the other option is to wait for the battery to die and then enter the recovery menu when it's charging. Good luck with that
if you stuck at boot, just flash the same nightly (probably in the cmupdater folder) and it wil work again.
Wait the battery die and press volume up button then connect to phone to PC. You can reach the downloading mode i think Then install TWRP...
Advanced wipe ( Cache, dalvic cache, data) Factory reset. Install Rom then Gapps.
Dont install supersu its already coming with the cm13...
So 3 days ago I updated my stock kitkat rom to CM 13, but I realised that marshmallow cant write on my sd so i tried a couple of fixes flashed on my device, namely the latest sd fix (2.9b) and so far so good except it didnt solved my problem, so I tried flashing the 1.9b version of the fix through recovery mode, after I finished flashing the TWRP apk asked me if I wanted to install the su apk, I didnt, so I clicked the reboot option instead except it didnt rebooted my phone so I held the power button until it turned off, next thing i know I tried turning my phone on and It gets stuck on the blue mascot booting animation for as long as I let it sit.
I already tried flashing a new CM (14) and factory resetting all to no avail, basically Im blind as to what i must do now. ANY help is welcome.
