Apparently you CAN'T THEME battery icon on Android version 4.4. Sorry, I can't explain all the developmental details.
simple explanation (ill try to explain)
In 4.4.2 roms battery icon is now build in .jar (its wroted in some kind of code inside .jar file) so that means there is no more .png images for battery and theme can not change it

I want to change the notification screen to this one, is it possible? how can I do it?
Not sure I can see the identical screenshot, but there are very similar themes in JKay's theme mod thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154278
Or maybe try the uot kitchen?
http://uot.dakra.lt/
it is a screenshot from Steel Blue CM7 Theme for SGS2
how can I use this theme with my rom?
This is my baseband version: I9100TJJKF3
my kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100TJJKG1
build number: GINGERBREAD.JJKG1
Oh right - you could have said so...
Seems like you need a custom ROM first - choose one then the installation seems pretty straightforward, all you need is in that thread (Steel Blue thread)
If it's your first time for a custom ROM, read, read, read and search
If I will flash the custom rom and then re-flesh to my rom the theme will be gone? I have to use the custom rom all the time for this theme?
Sorry, I'm not concentrating or reading enough myself
There are themes for stock firmwares there - see post#2 - but not yours (KF3).
So if you want this theme on stock firmware, you'll have to choose another stock ROM (KF2 for example).
Yes, if you reflash stock over a custom ROM you'll lose the theme.
If it's only the notification bar you want and nothing else, I'd try the uot kitchen if I were you. I've not tried it myself, but it seems user-friendly, supports stock ROMs and you can customise just about everything.
I dont know how to use the uot kitchen, can you please help me?
I want to change the notification screen and bar to solid black, like on the pic I posted
Sorry - as said, I've never used it, and I'm offline for the next few hours.
Hope someone else can help.
Decompile SystemUI.apk, browse to /res/drawables-hdpi/ and find the picture you want to change, replace it, compile it and switch the drawables-hdpi folder in the apk

I'm new to android. I know how to flash roms and kernels but that's it.....
As I'm sure Bruflot is well aware of, his "advice" is something that someone new to this shouldn't touch with a bargepole.. I'm still new enough not to try...
Just tried a quick go with the uot kitchen and it will do what you want, just play with it. The "generate preview" will help enormously. If I had time I'd do it for you, but screaming kiddies await me...

Hey guys,
I really need help on changing the battery icon on my galaxy s3. I jusr hate how it looks. so I downloaded a program called ROM Toolbox Pro (im sure you've heard of it), installed it and downloaded the icon pack (Circular Colourful). I installed it and none of my battery icons changed. I restarted SystemUI.apk and nothing happened. I did a reboot and nothing happened. keep in mind that iam rooted and have custom recovery. i asked a question/ made a post on the bootloop that I encountered when changing SystemUI.apk, but I fixed it. so could someone help me solve this problem?
Thanks
Nevermind, fixed: just installed previous version.

Same Problem
Hi I was just curious what you meant by previous version. I am having the same problem. I'm rooted, running a custom ROM and I was able to change my boot animation fine with Rom Toolbox Pro, but it's not changing the Battery Icons I chose.

As an option, this a very cool statusbar icon creator you use from a PC to make a flashable zip. Some of the settings need to be tweaked to assign the proper names to the pngs. for example. the signal output has to be renamed tw_stat_sys_6_level_signal_ so it replaces the proper files on our phone. I also found success using a working, flashable zip that replaces the battery icons and just replacing the images in that file with the ones i made and rezipping. Its very easy, but seems more geared toward international S3's, so thats why it needs a couple tweaks. The options for colors and styles is pretty impressive!

Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to get the paranoid android colors feature where status and nav bar colors change based on the app you are in on AOKP rom. I know I could use a hybrid rom but that is the one feature that I want outside of AOKP. I did some searching but found nothing. Would I be able to install the paranoid preferences apk or does the feature depend on something in the rom?
i join your question
you cant do this , cause even with PAPref Apk , you need to change framework files which might take away AOKP stuff , your best bet is to use PAC , it uses ParanoidAndroid AOKP and CM , meaning all features of 3 roms is in .

Is there a way I can test what AOKP features would be compromised by editing framework files? Or would it just ruin the whole system framework?
This isn't exactly the same but may be a option to consider.

Hello friends !
i would like to know witch method do u use to change the position of statusbar elements, such as cell and wifi signal to the left (in that order would be great), and clock to the center. i mean, witch xposed framework module, on stock 10.5.A.0.230
My previous phone was a Moto RAZR HD, and when i was on CM11 there's a module that it's exactly what i'm looking for, but it's for AOSP based roms. I don't want to try it because is obvious that the code from sony's systemui.apk stock roms and systemui.apk aosp roms are very different.
(This one:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-ios7-x-flat-style-module-t2666827[any one have tried it already on sony stock?])
I notice that there's a "manual" method , decompiling (dunno if that word actually exists, but hope you can understand the concept) systemui.apk, change a few lines lines of it's code, and then compile it again. But that method it's on xda since gingerbread. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1174202)
My configuration is 4.4.2 stock, rooted, with xposed framework 2.6.1, As you can imagine, my BL is locked with simlock (waiting for my carrier's answer )
Feel free to post o ask whenever you want.
Thanks in advance, and sorry the poor english. Hope you understand.
Hi, i'm making a theme for CM12.1 and i think i'm tryed everything for change the battery icon in the statusbar but nothing seems to work, i look for some guides and none of them works, i managed to change the signal icons by my own, but the battery icons just don't seem to change, decompiling the CM12.1 SystemUI.apk and didn't see the batt images, on Framework-res.apk see some bat icons and changed it but doesn't work, if anyone knows how to do it, it would be highly apreciated
Also, for te names i have SystemUI (com.android.systemui) and Framework(android), please help, thanks in advance and sorry for the bad english
P.D: i don't want to use xposed or some modded apk, i want to change the battery icon with the CM12.1 theme
You can't on LP. It can only be achieved by using a mod (3Minit AFAIR).
