I have a HOX with Android HD Revolution 31.1 which I want to revert to stock to get the wifi issue fixed under warranty.
Recovery: TWRP
version-main: 3.20.401.1
CID:HTC_E11
hboot 1.39.0000
The nandroid-backups on http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1975140 suitable for me are CWM and I'm on TWRP, The RUU i can find is OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.20.401.1-3.14.401.31_R_release_314818virsindn3qwws1r2.zip 35.7MB 2013-06-18 08:13:29 but only 37.5MB? For a ROM/RUU?
One-X-master replied (i was in a dev thread, so I think it's better to ask here):Just download the nandroid put in the right direction on sdcard and make a full wipe and restore the backup...then flash in fastboot stock boot.img and stock recovery and you can update your phone
I still have few questions though:
1. TWRP-backups and CWmbackups are totally different, so I'm not sure what One-X-master means with 'right direction'
2. Can i use this: Nandroid Backup / Mirror 3.18.401.1 CID HTC__E11 thanks to Mr. Hofs (Restore using TWRP), even though the version number is different?
If anyone can point me at a correct RUU, then I think the easiest way is to relock te bootloader and execute a RUU.
Any advise?
Thx! (and feeling like a totaal N00b...)
Yes you can use that nand. Restore it completely and after that you flash this recovery :

Then update via official ota....

Screwed up rooting my phone and I've been trying to get it back to stock but I haven't been able to find the right RUU. I've gone through http://androidfiles.org/ruu/?dir=Endeavor and tons of other forums but I haven't had any luck. Here's the info for my phone:
cid: HTC_622

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah that one is still missing in action ! You can go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
And download the matching nandroid backup. Flash the boot.img from it, make a full wipe in the recovery and restore the nandroid
thanks for all your help but I'm unable to transfer stuff to my phone. It won't boot into mass storage mode even from recovery
EDIT: HBOOT link isn't working

just checked my link works fine....why doesn't mass storage work, do you get an error ?
flash this one if you havent got this version
https://www.dropbox.com/s/guvfqd7tp8acxg6/recovery 5.8.4.0.img
then navigate to mounts & storage - mounst as usb device (last option in the list)
sorry for the big time noob question but where do you find the boot.img how do you flash the boot.img

so mass storage works ?
you have to unpack the nandroid backup to the right folder on the sdcard (its in the OP of the link i sent you) then unfold the folders and check in the files of the nandroid backup. the boot.img is in there
Yeah i just put on TWRP instead of CWM. What are the commands to flash boot.img?
Well it depends on the nandroid backup if you need twrp or cwm !
Of the nandroid backup contains a boot.img file you need cwm, if it has a boot.emmc.won file you need twrp recovery !
Fasboot flash boot boot.img
or
Fastboot flash boot boot.emmc.win
Thanks for all of your help I ended up just throwing on Android Revolution HD and sticking with TWRP recovery. I guess CWM doesn't like my phone for some reason.
Ow oke !

HTC One cant access the phone after flashing custom rom
I tried to flash the Android Revolution HD 71.1 Rom on my HTC One M7 ul. after completing installation my phone was not starting up. It stuck on the HTC logo and kept rebooting automatically. I also tried to install the Google edition but same result it keeps rebooting.

RADIO- 4A.23.3263.28
Main OD Version was: 4.20.708.10 (Before flashing custom rom, NOW NO version number)

I cant turn on the phone so that i can try other custom rom. Its Rooted, Unlocked and I have CWM installed. Now all i can do is go to fastboot option.

Hi guys.
Finally today I receive the OTA upgrade to JB. First an smal upgrade was succesfully downloaded and installed, and then the firmware to upgrade the phone to JB (I had 4.03 custom rom).
After the phone install the JB upgrade the phone stuck on the HTC ONE white screen
I had a backup on the SD that let me recover the phone, I try to install the upgrade again, with the same luck. I read a post that said that erasing the SD will resolve the issue, and I have no better idea than do it!!! (yeah... really!!)
I read several post all day on XDA, I try to flash again the boot and ROM with the upgrade that I save on my PC, and with a Backup via
fastboot. But nothing work (I dont know if I did it right). I cant see the SD on fastboot, already try a factory reset, when I go to the recovery option on fastboot the phone just rebooted with no options.
My CID is BSTAR301

Sorry, I mean I had the ORIGINAL ROM (4.03), the only change that I made was root the phone.
My CID is BSTAR301, I only have the backup files that I copy to my pc and the OTA upgrade that the phone download. I attach the images of the files that I have.
Could you please tell me how to restore it to complete stock with the commands? which files should I use?
Thanks for you help.

I assume that you first installed CWM or TWRP recovery to root your HOX, and if you make backup of your recovery this is CWM or TWRP recovery.img, not stock recovery.img that is came with phone because you reflashed original one with TWRP or CWM and official ROM need official recovery.img. I hope that you make nandroid backup before root with TWRP or CWM because is it "must to do" in every installation guide. If so, when you wanted to update via OTA for official JB you needed to:
1. reverse to stock software (for you, you needed only to unroot or use nandroid backup if you have yours, if not try to find one in xda one x forum matching your current CID and main-version)
2. reverse to stock recovery.img that is matching your CID (exact matching) (you need to find it on xda one x forum section) - i see that you have firmware folder but dont know is it from your backup or from OTA, if it is from OTA than you can use recovery.img from that folder to flash stock recovery.img via fastboot commands (only recovery.img)
3. then you can do official JB update via OTA
And then if you have need to custom ROM you need flash again CWM or TWRP recovery.img
Also you can get full stock with RUU but RUU must fully match your CID and main version, but RUU isn't available for every phone version, and after RUU you can do officall OTA JB update (for RUU you need to lock bootloader)
Information that can help us is yours phone current main version (fastboot getvar version-main)

Thanks for your help! I got the an RUU, after that I sent my backup to SD and now I have 4.0.4.
Now my phone show me a message to install the OTA to 4.1.1, but when I select install the phone make a reboot and show me CWM recovery with the message:
Finding update package...
E:unknown volume for path [INTERNALSDCARDownload/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_S_BSTR_ESN_3.14.515.36-2.17.515.1....
E:Can't mount INTERNALSDCARD...
Installation aborted.
Why the phone can't mount the SD?
You need a stock recovery. Do :
Fastboot getvar version-main
And post the outcome !
Edit :
4.0.4 software....you need this recovery and then install the ota again

Feel free to send me PM in Finnish

Probably continued by PM but you have to restore a 3.20 nandroid backup and flash back a stock 3.14 stock recovery. Then you can update official ota's.
TT will explain it all when you send him a PM !

current status:
S-ON
RELOCKED

you don't to be locked to receive ota, you need stock rom, stock boot.img and stock recovery and also to be unrooted as you already know. so unlock bootloader again and flash the 3.14 stock recovery then make sure there are no su files left in your system/bin or system/xbin folders

No need RUU.I think your in stock rom, if so just flash this stock recovery via fastboot (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) then check update OTA & install it.
https://db.tt/pO3jumMa
And you don't need to unroot either. It will be lost in process. Reroot after updates
Thank you for the input.
I did all the above and now the installation starts, Gets to about 30% and displays a red triangle with exclamation mark. The phone status is: UNLOCKED. Do i need to relock it to get updates.
Please help!!!
Thanks
