I'm using Root Call Blocker and it works great when not on Wifi Calling. As soon as I connect to Wifi Calling, it no longer blocks calls. Anyone have an app that works with Wifi Calling?

Probably not. The call blocking apps intercept the call by reading the caller ID number from the cell connection before it gets sent to the phone.apk. But the WifiCalling app bypasses that step.
Your entire call is contained in teh Wificalling APK. Since that apk is not open source it's unlikely that there is an add on app that can intercept calls within it.

You might want to check in the stock phone app, it has a block feature and it should also block when you're on wireless....
get into phone app, menu, call rejection, auto reject list.
Yeah I just tested the in phone call blocking and it works. Just with I could stop the missed call notifications. At least my phone doesnt ring every 10 minutes now lol.

I thought I read somewhere that this GSII would have wifi calling support. Anyone know anything about this?
I know T-Mobile support wifi calling, Airave for Sprint.
There is an app on the phone called Kies Air. That's what you use. Haven't tried it yet, so you'll probably have to Google the manual for the phone or the app.

Airave is a femtocell, its not wifi calling.
If your phone does not have native wifi calling you can use the app GrooVeIP to place calls over wifi (or mobile data) via your Google Voice account.
Kies air lets you sync your phone with your pc over wifi , once synced it brings up a bunch of boxes on your pc screen with your pics, messages etc.. not wifi calling from what ive seen..
if u go to any contact and try editing it, there is an option that says "internet call"... i tried putting a phone num there, but it doesn't do anything (you cant call the phone num)... and airave and kies are not the answer, they don't have anything to do with wifi calling
so there's no wifi calling feature on this phone even though they said it would support it?
of course there is, you just have to download software that does it; grooveip, or get a SIP account, and there are tons of programs that work with SIP...
Is it possible to temporarily disable all incoming calls without disabling wifi and 3g connection? I would like to use my phone as youtube player without unexpected interruptions of incoming calls... thank you...

It is possible. Put the phone in airplane mode then turn on Wi-Fi. All radios will be off except for Wi-Fi and you can't receive phone calls with it.
Thank you... this helped... is there a way to use a 3g with incoming calls disabled?

Not sure about a gsm phone but on my CDMA Verizon phone. Dial *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer. Then select lte only from networks and you can use lte with no phone calls. On Verizon it's not possible to do data only on 3g because 3g supports calls texts and data. LTE or 4g is data only.
I'm not sure if this is ROM specific (I'm using Cyanogenmod 10.1.3), but there's a Blacklist option if you go to settings in the dialer:
Dialer (Phone) > Settings > Blacklist
Once you do it'll bring up the menu in the attached screenshot. If you set yours up like in the screenshot (enabling wildcards and adding * to the blocklist), it will block all incoming calls. It will not affect any other communications besides incoming calls, so you can use 3G. If you leave the option checked, it will also let you know in the notifications that you received a call. I tested and confirmed all this.
Hope this helps.
How does this work and how do you know your using wifi for calls??? Also does the wifi enabled calling message always in the notification pull down when activated??
It works great.....i use it at work and home and it helps cut battery drain. You will know you are useing wifi cause it will say in the call menu and there will be an icon in the status bar when you are connected to a wifi and wifi calling is working. I think it does.
So the icon on the left will always be there

There will be a icon during the call that shows that you are using wifi calling, should be the same icon as the one on the toggles. Depending on how fast the wifi network, it can work great, or suck. For instance I have slow Internet at the house with less than 500kbps, it won't work too well on there, whereas maybe 1+MBps will work fine. I use it at the wifi at my work, saves me from roaming even though it is included in the plan I have.

From what i can tell yes.
Yes... The icon will always be up to when wifi calling service is on.
Basically just turn it on and then it'll make you set your current location for 911 purposes. Then just save and you should be good to go. Every time you connect to that wifi it will automatically revert to wifi calling... as long as wifi calling is turned on.
It's fantastic. A must have for me in my apartment with my crappy Sprint signal
Any way to activate the wifi calling feature for the Sprint S6?
rooted and xposed installed
I've tried on every build so far on my GS6 and haven't been able to get it to turn on, but it sounds like a few people have gotten it to work. I've spoken with Sprint multiple times about it and the only remaining test they want to try is to factory reset the phone...which is funny since the first day I also couldn't enable WiFi calling. They recommended I take it into a Sprint store so someone else can look at it, and probably factory reset it. I just don't want to spend the next 6 hours customizing everything on my phone again. I've also heard that the battery life isn't very good with WiFi calling (maybe incorrectly), so that's been another reason for me to not take the plunge and factory reset.
Sprint did mention, during all those phone calls and chats that WiFi Calling must be enabled on your account/line for it to work, which they say they enabled for me, but it still doesn't work. Maybe that's your hang-up....
Works for me on stock OH1. Took awhile for the red line to disappear from the icon but when it did I made and received several calls using wifi calling.

I am able to use wifi calling fine. I was just in Bosnia, Croatia, and Serbia where I used wifi calling constantly to call and text people in the US. I am on stock OH1. When you enable wifi calling go to the wifi calling options and make sure the wifi access point you are connected to us enabled in the wifi calling. To the point above, yes it does often take 30 seconds to a minute to enable wifi calling on any access point. If it starts to take longer I toggle wifi calling off then on again.

How do you tell the phone that a particular wifi network is able to use wifi calling? Whenever I try to enable wifi calling it sends me straight to "Self Service".

Wanam Xposed module (note module not framework) breaks the ability to access WIFI calling feature. I reported it here in module thread.
I might recommend doing an RTN reset...I know you said you don't want to set everything up all over again. But I had issues when I first got the device. This completely reprovisions everything and in my case fixed WiFi calling not even being an option. I would make sure it shows in your account and then do the RTN reset.
I picked up this phone a few days ago and I just noticed that VOLTE wasn't working like it should. The settings menu shows that I have the option on, but everytime I make a call or receive a call it instantly switches from 4g to 1x, and therefore I don't have simultaneous voice and data. Anyone have this issue too?
I checked my Verizon account to see if that feature is enabled for my line. Advanced calling shows that VOLTE is on for calls and video chat. Turning it on and off doesn't change anything, turning wifi calling on and off doesn't affect it. I've tried rebooting, and no luck. Seems like a software issue?
I noticed this on a call today as well. Subscribing...
Perhaps the person on the other end needs it as well? I've found calls between my girlfriend and I would switch from HD to non-HD and it seemed like it was due to service on her end. Just a thought. Its actually only happened a couple of times to me.

No luck with that one either. I've tried calling other lines on my plans and I got the same results. My S5 did a pretty good job maintaining HD Voice every time I made a call to those lines where LTE coverage was available.
I called CS and they didn't say it was a common problem, but they put in a report pretty immediately for me and should have someone contacting me the next 24-48 hours.
Just a quick update. I didn't do anything, I used my phone as is and it just started switching to HD voice and maintaining LTE while calling. So either they did something on their side, or the phone is just a little buggy.
I have never had that VoLTE icon pop up on my phone but if I look in my recent calls list I do see a Wifi icon on some of the calls.. I assume this is VoLTE??

That's WiFi calling.
I have used WiFi calling and it seems to work alright. Is this the same as VoLTE? If it is not how do you enable VoLTE?
I just found it in settings, it is enabled however I have never seen any kind of an icon that it is working. How do I know if it is or isnt?
Where is the setting for VoLTE in Settings? I am not seeing it anywhere.
EDIT: A google search showed me it should be in call settings, but it is not there. Any help much appreciated.
