Battery pack vs extra battery - LG Optimus G Pro

Which one do you think is better?
http://www.amazon.com/warranty-Zero...2&sr=8-3&keywords=zero+lemon+lg+optimus+g+pro
http://www.amazon.com/12000mAh-Exte...&ie=UTF8&qid=1392813840&sr=1-2&keywords=anker

Pure from the mhA-specs I'd say the second one. But the first is way cheaper than the other.
I think you'd rather need to decide on your own. What you need? To me the second one is very attractive, because I don't like to have another accu-pack carry around with me.

I have both the 9300mAh ZL battery and an external 10000mAh EasyAcc battery. Not a fan of swapping out batteries lol. The 9300mAh battery runs around the same price as the battery pack you posted while the EasyAcc 10000mAh pack is under $30.

3500/3600mah battery worth it?

Hey guys, I'm getting horrendous battery life with the stock battery because my mom (who had the phone before me) misused it a lot. So I'm looking to buy an extended battery, and one that is cheap too. So thanks in advance!
Btw: I'm running Sense 4.0 senswich Rom on my g2

a battery that size will probably change your phone, bigger isnt always better but if you dont mind go for it. there are plenty of cheap oem batts and aftermarket ones that work great. also you can use htc batteries from different phones. there are i beleive two that work in ours that bump it up to 1450 or 1500 mah
personally im fine with the oem batteries, moderate user, overclocked to 1ghz, all the standard batt saving techniques, about 20hrs per charge on a new stock battery

Thanks for your opinion, do you think a 2500mah or in that range, be more suitable?

personally as long as it is the same size as the original and cheap i would go for it. i cant imagine this phone with the large extended battery, probably ugly and cumbersome. just make sure the size is the same

1520 mah is the one you're talking about, There is no 1500 oem battery for our device.

Mostly likely a 2500 mah battery is a aftermarket one, That gives less battery life then there claiming it to be and they die out faster then oem batteries, Not only that you'll need a bigger battery cover (not sure how you feel about that)
I recommend the HTC EVO 4G Design battery at 1520mah for anyone looking for a extended battery, It fits perfect w/o any need to trim or modify. If interested send me a pm I have a coupon code for 10% off
Stock G2 1300mah battery on the left 1520mah on the right

On moderate use I can go the whole day without a charge, On heavy use I charge once in the morning and once by the end of the night.
Anker is a aftermarket battery, One of the ones I was talking about in my last post you're not getting the reported mah level you paid for.
Go to http://batteryboss.org to see battery tests
I second the Evo battery; I was having to recharge early in the evening, now I can usually make it a full day with moderate use (ie. no hour of streaming videos or games) but, even with some streaming, etc. I usually just have to plug it in at the tail end of the day for a little bit, like during dinner.

Extended batteries?

Are any of the cheap extended batteries for the Note worth buying? I see a lot of 5200mAh ones on ebay for ~£10, while I'm sure they aren't really that capacity; at that price they may be worth buying. The Mugen 5400mAh doesn't seem worth buying because I could carry numerous original batteries for that price without adding bulk to the phone.
I've bought 2 cheap battery's on eBay and both worked but lost capacity after a week or 2 and gave me screen flickering below 20% so I stopped using them. I only buy well known battery's now, worth the extra money. Even if they are a double or triple the price, you get what you pay for. (Most the time ^.^)
Edit: Mugen have good reviews, there's a review by a member on XDA somewhere.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I've just ended up buying the £20 standard battery from Samsung in the end.
I bought two Hyperion batteries and a dock charger that charges the phone and the extra battery at the same time.
What I do is keep the extra battery in my pocket with me. When the main battery finishes, I swap. Then when I get home at night Ill charge them both.
This tremendously helped me out over the past weekend as I wasn't home for 14 hours.
Got myself a 5000 mAh one with a bulky back cover and wouldn't want to go without it anymore,
is good for going 3-4 days without recharging now, a bit like the old days when phones were not
smart but durable...

Going from the standard to an extended (i have the mugen 5400) battery was for me like going from the S2 to the Note.
Size matters, and its hard to go back.
(oh, and no more juice defenders, battery program thingies etc, sigh, pfiew)

2430mah internal battery replacement

Anyone want to give this a try? I highly doubt its that rating and with the possibility of it exploding due to it being a chinese generic I'm not tempted. But what do you guys say?

It's a 1800mAh original battery with a sticker on it.
Don't buy it !
I replaced my HOX battery with the HOX+ battery so I now have the 1080mAh battery and I like it very much.
the one x + battery is 2100 mAH

Extended battery with factory footprint?

Anyone know of a reputable extended battery that fits with the standard battery door? I don't need much more...maybe 4000mah or so would get it to go all day with how I use it. 6400 and 9000ish are way more than I need and I'm not interested in doubling (at least) the thickness of the phone. Saw one on some chinese website at 3500mah, but pretty sure I don't trust it. I have the zerolemon replacements and I swap out as I go, but I don't like carrying them with me. I like to travel light. Thanks.
Im curious to know this too.
Ive had bad experiences with buying extended, but similar to stock size batteries. They tend to actually be lower capacity than stock... cheap pieces of crap with false labels. (Ex: my old phone's battery was 1650mAh. I bought three different 2000mAh batteries over the phone's lifetime. One was actually 800mAh, one was 1000mAh, and one was something around 900mAh.)

3 ways.
First, there was the fact that my phone went from 8hrs of typical usage to only 4hrs with same usage patterns and ROM.
EDIT: I had a Hyperion battery and it actually only gave me 3hrs!!!!! I also had a Bluegate Kobe and it only gave me 4. The third battery was an EVO and it gave me about 6, but it wasn't as good as stock.
A second way was that I used an app to measure my mAh (don't have the app name right now. Not installed now and can't find it, but it's a popular one).
EDIT: The app was Battery Monitor Widget. I used the stock battery first to get a base mAh based on my actual usage over a week. Then used the 3rd party batteries and did the same. The 3rd party batteries came out to be FAR less mAh than stock.
The third way only applies to one of the batteries (EDIT: The Hyperion I had). I removed the label and printed on the actual battery under the label was the true mAh, which was half of what the label said. (The sticker said 2200mAh, but the battery said 1100mAh)
Plus all the labels were cheap stickers. The batteries looked more legit online than they dI'd in person. In person, they look homemade and felt lighter than the stock battery. (MUCH lighter).
EDIT: To be clear, all of this was with my old phone, a Galaxy S2.
Also, that Battery Monitor Widget app didn't seem to work with the OGP, which is why I don't have it installed still.

The standard one isn't an extended battery though. It has the same mAh as stock.
EDIT: and the other Zero Lemon (9300mAh) requires a special back cover and makes the phone too thick. Like PS Vita thick!
This forum was made by the OP because they were looking for an extended battery that can use the stock back cover. ;]

Manufacturer's website:
http://www.ontrion.com/category_s/3020.htm
Only thing is that they claim it'll last longer than stock (3140mAh), but it's only 2100mAh.
It makes me suspicious because if my past experiences and because my understanding of batteries is that higher mAh = more power.

" they claim it'll last longer than stock (3140mAh), but it's only 2100mAh."
That's one tip-off that there's something wrong here.
The other biggie is that they say the battery is FCC Approved. Which sounds real important, except, the FCC doesn't "approve" batteries in any way I've ever heard of.
The battery business is infamous for outright fakes, counterfeits, and junk. It isn't easy to get real prime-quality products at good prices. And the stuff from unknown vendors? Really, how many reports of battery fires and explosions does it take to make anyone worry about leaving a no-name battery or a no-name-source battery charging while you sleep?
I'd rather carry a hot-shot (USB battery) charger around "just in case".

has anyone seen a bigger capacity battery for p6. bigger than standard 2050mAh ? The standard size is just to weak for me. I cant get trough a day with heavy use.

buy p7 coming April. 2460mAh battery.
Nope, there are no better batteries for the P6. There are, however, battery covers.

I don't like those at all, though. Might buy one for those days I really need that extra juice.
just had HAM for more than 24 hours. Same as p6, but bigger and battery life is like 3x..
Maybe the p7 battery would be compatiable change for the p6's...

Wouldn't count on it, though. And even if it will be, opening the P6 permanently damages the back of the device :/
Sent from my P6-U00 using Tapatalk
We will see... And unless it is in a solid aluminium block, there would be hardly any permanent damage.
Ps: a new back cover costs like 6 dollars or so.
Ps2: my thougjts and hopes are baaed on the possibility of the p7's same size as the p6.
