Almost 4hours screen on time, 12 hours 45minutes of phone usage with wifi on 9hours .
So how was it? Good? Or just normal stock battery performance?

Recommand!
I'm started to using Sun Global 3000 mAh battery since my ori battery get pregnant last month,
It can last a bit longer than samsung ori battery. I got up to 5hour screen on time with 3G on, some browsing and Most of the time with high graphic Gaming! Samsung ori battery only able to give me around 3 hour and half only.
Sorry to say it, but comparison based on daily usage is not reliable, because no two days are identical in terms of usage and phone signal.
IMO, the only way to compare batteries without special equipment, is to measure the run time in comparable conditions, e.g continuous video playback of the same movie with all possible phone features switched off (no sync, no gps, plane mode etc.), preferably with minimal backlight (longer measurement time provides cleaner results)
ampere rating
Shouldn't we check the ampere rating? Some high capacity batteries are known for bad current.
Hi Guys,
Just bought a Sun Global 3000mAh battery yesterday. So far it seems to be holding superior than the original.
FYI, I am using Nova Battery Tester and currently running the test. I will update the results once it's completed.
For the time being you can refer to the attached picture, it shows that after 8 hours of usage, I still have 56% battery left.
Finished the test, here's the result.
Apparently the mAh claimed by Sun Global is not the actual mAh. What I got from this test is only 2541 mAh... which is slightly better than the original.
Hope this helps.

Hi
I would be very interested to know of any third-party extended batteries for the S4 mini and people's experiences of the same. I am looking to upgrade from my S2, but am waiting until there are bigger batteries available for the S4 Mini. As yet I have not seen any such batteries on ebay or the web in general.
Regards
Midgeslayer
Have a look at this. I'm sure you'll find what you need: http://www.batteryupgrade.gr/shopBrowser.php?shopGroupId=16167761#/shopGroupId/19772600
Looks like the first replacement batteries are showing up for our S4 mini. 2500mAh does not sound bad.
But does anybody know how the battery is important for NFC to work properly? There must be a reason for Samsung to write "Near Field Communication" on the original battery.
Edit:
Hm, seems like the antenna for NFC is located inside the battery. So no NFC with 3rd party replacements that do not integrate an NFC antenna.
Yes indeed. The battery holds the antenna for the NFC.
Well, there are 3rd party batts with NFC for S4 mini. I've never tested such equipment though and don't know if the NFC works at all.
In my experience, third batteries are false advertising.
I will get back with a site that measures all batteries how mah they claim and how mah they really offer.
I've ordered a 2800mAh (for use with oem battery cover) from eBay. I'll post specs and finding once I've got it...

I don't really think that you will get anything from this battery... Looking at it logically - how a battery with the same dimensions as orignal 1900mAh one can have 900mAh more? If it was possible then I thing that Samsung would do it in first place.
Just look at Galaxy S III, Samsung made a bigger battery, but it's bigger in dimensions also.
I agree, chances it it won't make any difference but for the lousy €5 I might as well try....

Depends on the quality of build... You probably heard of those cheap chinese wall chargers for iPhone, one of them even killed a person!
I other cases there is no risk, it would be just a battery with a bigger capacity.

Is that a lot or not. I mean what was your usage. If you played battery hungry games it is nice. My I9195 is on battery for 2 days and 3 hours normal use ( nothing too draining ) and I still hace 34 %.

not bad! how about time with screen on? tell us more details!
I hadn't used it very intensively. Just browsing, email, facebook and such. Just after I posted though percentage dropped to 34 within an hour. Also experienced a lot of lags and freezes yesterday. Not sure whether its the battery but that's the only thing I changed. I'm back to the OEM battery now to see if the lags are gone now. Usually I end up with 20 to 25% after a full days normal use, which isn't that bad so if the new battery doesn't turn out to be a success, no harm done really.

Can you post a link? I cannot find it for S4 mini.
Does anyone have any real experience with the slim extended battery for OGP ? So far, I searched and found a 3850 mAh made by AcerSoft, and some 4000mAh for F240 model. Do they have real capacity as claimed and use interchangeably ? TIA
With my experience with slim extended ....has not been any better on any device I've owned. You gotta think if a 3rd party company claims they can make higher capacity slim batteries then why wouldn't the manufacturer of our device just go ahead and make one same size ? ...IMO grab a zerolemon or just stick with OEM battery. Once again only my opinion.

Agreed. I had a slim "extended" battery for my old Atrix 4G and it ended up giving me LESS battery life.

Guys, i just bought a LG G Pro, so still getting used to it. How many battery hours do you usually get in a full charge??
And also, how many hours of screen on??
Enviado de meu LG-E989 usando Tapatalk
I'd usually get around 3.5hours of screen on over 18 hours of use on the stock ROM. With MIUI, I'd get around 6 hours of screen on over about 27 hours.

It depends on how you run the device. I can get over 8 hours of on screen time. however, that's at 0% brightness — inside isn't that bright this time of year
Standby mode with everything off should show very little decrease in battery, if you see a lot of drain at that point then something is eating on the battery. Most ROMs and stock do very similar when in full use (the screen eats most) from what I've seen however, standby can be very dramatic.
Thank you. Normal use (wifi, 3g, browsing, facebook, whatdapp), no gaming or music.
So far so good, i think. At least better than Lg optimus g. I am getting 5h 30min of screen.
I agree with Neroga and Shayne. I also got an "extended" battery for my old Note 1 and it sucked. I got less battery life off that than I did on my stock battery. They are not worth it. If you really need/want that much battery life then just buy two batteries and have one charged while using the other.
The zero lemon battery works great. Makes the phone bulky and heavy but you will adjust and it will soon be comfortable.

+1 to this but no bigger than having a big, protective case. Got my 9300mAh ZL battery with a modified Abacus flip case and couldn't be happier. Can't beat going 3 days with 12+ hours of screen on time.

How'd you get MIUI on your E980? I've looked seemingly everywhere and couldn't find it. I only found the F240L version. I want to improve from the somewhat bloaty stock to something faster with better battery life.

It's over in the general section starting with WS0008 Developer Edition or something like that. The thread is old but the ROM is maintained.
The performance is comparable to stock, maybe slightly better, but the battery life is awesome. ColorOS will give you the same thing with some extra features, but autocorrect on any keyboard will cause whatever app you're typing on to crash.

My zero lemon battery worked great for 7 months until it spontaneously combusted in my phone in my pocket. I must have dropped the phone the day before, and a short caused it to smolder through the battery cover and melted the plastic in the internal body of my phone. Unfortunately, this battery only comes with an 180 day warranty (6 months), and it burned up at 7 months, but I will see if they can refund it. After having a spontaneous combustion incident, I am not sure I want to have another one in my phone.
It also weighs almost 6 ounces ( a half pound is 8 ounces.) I thought it must be a lead acid battery when I first received it because the battery was 3-4 times heavier than my phone with the original battery in it. It lasts 2 days of heavy use and a week if I don't use 4g or the wifi. I think 4500 mAh would be a perfect amount of capacity for one day, so 9300 mAh is overkill.

Can you still use your phone or did the battery ruin it?
I can still use the phone, but it's really easy to drop something that weighs a half a pound and is bigger than your hand. Other people will probably drop their phones and have the same problem. The good news is that the TPU case is very protective of the phone, and the battery broke instead of the phone when I dropped it. The bad news is that I only have a 6 month warranty and it broke at 7 months so I'm out of luck.

I'm gonna buy it as soon as it is available, having the same battery that powers a QHD screen, even if it's only 200mAh more, that could give my 7a an incredible battery life, we'll see.
I'll buy 2, if a spare battery charger is available, and definitely the F7 carbon battery cover also!
This is great news.
It does make me wonder, though, just how much Oppo saved dropping 200mah off our batteries. Maybe it was just a little something to justify the extra cost of the 7 over the 7a, but sheesh, I wish they just made the batteries the same for both!

I don't think it saved them much at all to be honest. It would have had nothing to do with cost. It is purely for marketing purposes. As soon as people see the QHD version with a larger battery it would push some of the sceptical people over the line for using a more power hungry screen; not that many of them will be swayed, it would definitely appeal to a wider audience if that was not the case.
If they included a 3300+ mAh battery in the QHD model it would certainly have swayed a lot more, but I doubt that was the focus at all. It's just an extra feather in the cap for the users that want "the best"

I actually HAVE a second one, but I dont like to change the battery every time for multiple reasons:
1. You have to shut down the device.
2. You have to open the back and replace the battery and in my oppinion, this kind of "tears" the back..
3. You have to carry around the second battery somewhere.
4. Step 1 and 2 took time (yeah okay, maybe just a minute, but its still more than having a bigger battery with no need to change and so no changing time^^)
Dont get me wrong, it is a viable option for some people, but unfortunately not for me.. ):

Rather not, it's bigger and most likely they used that space to fit a bigger in size battery. Most likely not fit in ours. I've also thought about this intervention
