Att s3 running tmo s3 rom

I have an att s3 and was wondering if I can flash the tmo s3 stock ROM on it and everything work ok.. I need the wifi calling feature fire where I moved.. Thought flagging might be easier than dealing with craigslist trying to find a trade

Click to collapse
You don't. Use CWM or TWRP to flash the rom.
Ok thank you

how to install rom when rooted the phone already
which kernel do you use if your on tmo? tmo or att?

Kernels are interchangeable.
To install rom on rooted phone, you first need a recovery. Easiest way is to download goo.im app to get twrp. Once thats done, download rom and install it in recovery

[Q] My Sprint Note 2 won't flash roms?

I have tried 2 roms that were meant for my Sprint Note 2 and both of them have gotten stuck at the boot animation.
Restoring my backup always works fine
I'm flashing using CWM 6 if that matters, and I rooted my phone with the Galaxy Note 2 Toolkit 3
I've flashed roms on it successfully before, and haven't changed anything since then
Your in wrong section, this is for n7100& n7105 model, so are you flashing roms from here? That might be why its not booting up

Flash Phoenix v16 n7105 (Noob question)

Will I be able to install phoenix v16 on my rooted n7105 LTE(4g)?
I have 4.1.2. CWM Recovery.
I'm pretty sure Pheonix is only a n7100 rom. If you flash a n7100 rom on n7105 you will lose your baseband and have no signal. So basically a n7100 rom will turn your n7105 rom into a wifi tablet. There's not too many n7105 roms, if you want a twizz one i'm using DN3 and highly recommended it

Okay! Thanks! I just did a factory reset (super wipe) and now it seems like I can't connect my SIM-card? It doesn't show up when booting, also wifi is avooding to connect because bad signal.. if I reset to my backup it works like normal
Any help please?

Not 100 % sure what your trying to do but there is an issue with upgrading to 4.3 where you lose your baseband ( no signal ) but it's an easy fix. The best advice I can give you is to read one of Dr ketan's guides on the subject. He is the guru on all things note 2
If you are selecting wipe to install new rom in recovery and then not installing anything that's probably the problem

No, I just did a clean wipe to remove all apps and data and it works except that my sim and wifi doesn't work

One of the ROMs with TW based and on android 4.3 is DN3. You could try it instead of phoenix rom

Thanks!

I didn't flash anything, I just wiped it all.. I use stock

Rooting ?

Just picked up my N7 had one 4 months ago but sold it. Anyway I'm still on 4.3 and have used wugs to root and installed CleanRom in the past my ? is should I root before I update or after or does it make any difference? Then install cleanrom or another ROM. Haven't been keeping up on the N7 stuff.

Some Roms come pre'rooted, but flash supersu binary after you flash the ROM.

If you are flashing a custom ROM it is already rooted, if you are going to flash a stock ROM then you will need to flash su after flashing the ROM.
And stay away from toolkits

TWRP Error

Hello.
I have an galaxy s6 edge with an unlocked bootloader. I flashed TWRP about 6 month ago and made a backup then. I also rooted. Recently I tried recovering from the backup but it keeps telling me: cannot recover system--mounted read instead. Please help

Not possible, especially if you have taken any updates.
This is not your dad's Samsung, this is something special that Samsung has cooked up to keep xda at bay.

Try updating your recovery, there may be a newer version out. Look in the twrp thread.
