I'm looking for a dev team to port firefox OS to loads of devices, you need to have know git yes I'm posting it on my teams git-hub page. I'm keeping this short coz I can't think of anything. Apart from this
Important: Only devices running at least Android 4 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich) are supported. If your device is listed above but running an older version of Android, please update it before doing anything.

Before you start your team needs a device to begin porting with. I recommend The Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 its a very good device and I could test the rom/OS
Hey guys,
I'm also trying to port firefoxos to the androidarmv6 project device galaxy5(gt-i5500)
I may learn many things from you guys.
Hi guys,
I'm currently working on Galaxy Wonder (aka ancora aka GT-I8150) and i use CM10.1 but still dont have any result because of my free time.

Firefox OS for the Galaxy Gio hasn't been released yet because the people making it couldn't get it to work on the Gio yet. Hopefully they will be able to get it working because I want a taste of Firefox OS!
Me and MMB team (Im not in the team) Are working hard to get it working please respect that we are doing this!

As you all are aware of the bugs in Cyanogenmod available for our device So I thought to gather a team to fix bugs for the good of our device I would like to first start from CM7 major bugs like color swapped when screen rotated, wifi, bluetooth and many more So I would like people who are interested in fixing bugs and form a team are requested to reply below saying "I'm in!" And PM me if any query This initiative by me is for the good of our device! I know some of the bugs listed can't be solved until broadcom releases drivers but we can still fix some of the major one's!
The HTC Sensation XL as well as the Explorer have the same BCM4330 chip as in our SGY! Already hell_lock has a CM Debugging thread in the dev section but that thread didn't show progress thats why I opened this thread!

So youre going to debug without making a rom from source?

Cm7 is aosp rom i.e. Android open source project. That means they are open source.Any one can make rom from there with thier devices drivers . We have to compile that rom from that sources .For us Broadcom released a precompiled EGL libs which is no use for sources .Sir whitexp compile every cm from his sources which can be found on git .He had fixed his source to de bug cm . Hope you got some knowledge from me.

age does not matter actually,
remember mentality and maturity is an abstract concept of thought,
we have lots of people in xda who are 12 year old's but have made a big impact,
we should not underestimate their capabilities,
we live in a world where we exercise our right as a free people of the free world,
anyways,
we need the littlest contributions we can in our community,
i say,
good luck to whatever these people are doing

I mean we (I) suggest many but do very little, that's the problem...
Before porting Sailfish, better idea to devs is start compiling 4.3. Or wait for KitKat.

@wulsic and @corsicanu, you who have more experience with ROMs could answer me one thing? Lately'm interested by the Firefox OS, and found a tutorial to port Firefox OS for new devices, do if I follow himself being a beginner I would still be able to perform the port?
Link to the tutorial: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developing_Firefox_OS/Porting
Note: If you are in the wrong place some moderator could move the topic? Thanks
@John Blueh
I have never ported Firefox os before but I think that you could try to do it and then use our sourcecode . When you are creating those new files then I would say that you must take My cm11 Testing branch cause thats a good repository.
github.com/wulsic/android_device_samsung_nevispcm11
You must maybe remove some crappy lines, but you could watch to the example mentioned by the Firefox os people and compare it.

Not sure about that, as at this moment, there's only 2 Dev is working on our phone, so, I won't give hope so much???. Its even hard for us to get one dev for our device. There is one newly born Dev on the way, working on cm13. See if he can help you. His name @osas I believed.
I could did cm13 for this device but;
first) in next weeks.
seconds) I need volunteers to test the rom
third) consider in a small donation after the hard work if want to keep update this phone.
-----------------------
I port ubuntu touch successfully on i9105p and got worked boot image and [email protected] , I'll work on kernel to fix LXC to get worked UI, so once finish I could did on i9082 too which are same phone.

Does i9105p have same spec with i9082? I've been looking the most similar device for a while now, for porting slimpop or Blisspop. Makes porting job easier, right?

That happens when you use grand kernel...Use s2 plus kernel and modify d ram disk(use grand kernel as d reference point for making changes)
The only problem I'm facing while porting rom from s2 plus to grand is outgoing and incoming calls reboot issues(miui v7, RR 6.0 etc)
