don't worry ur xm can resist small drops bit should buy a good protective case and care ur xm
"Fragile"? I wouldn't say so...
But as stated and above, you can always buy a case.
Have a Gel case and a screen protector on XPERIA C1905.
Mother uses it and a 1 metre drop onto a concrete door step and nothing happen.
[Update]
Lately I've gone big on TPU and Gel covers as I've found hard covers (old style plastic ones I've had for other phones) have a poor fit.
Hard covers will still protect the phone, but may not absorb impacts in the same way.

Thanks for ur valuable commnts. I already bought a hard back cover, would it be enough?
I wonder why sony did not mention anything about its glass apart from being scratch resistance. Xperia L's got a schott glass which is pretty awesome and I thought M have similar glass. Too bad I was wrong.:silly:
Really "L" got awesome glass i don't think so, cause a 20cm fall can break it check brin post and you'll know it.

I agree but I saw a video where the user was trying to break/scratch the glass of xperia L with a screwdriver, but was unable to do so. Tht's why I thought it was awesome.
Anyway thanks.

Overall. Quality of this product is superb and installation was so easy.
Did it all in about 15 mins + finishing it off with a hair dryer on low heat and 6" away from phone while off to cure the phantom skinz.

They are kinda small. Gotta stretch it a bit when you put it on, and then use hair dryer to make it even better. There is a video instruction on the website. Just followed every step and turned out great.
This is pure sex in my eyes!!!!

The camera I took the pic with is kind of crappy as it isn't as detailed. Pictures don't do the justice. Looks way better in person.
It is also texturized. Not just an image print.
That looks very sweet! May have to look into getting something like this for my cappy! Nice work on the install
if you are in the carbon fiber mood, there is a site that specializes in the 3M film (now in 7 colors!)
http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/blog/3m-carbon-fiber-di-noc-now-available-in-7-different-colors/
I had this same skin for a while.
It actually adds some grip to the otherwise slippery Captivate.
Also gives a small amount of protection.
Initially it is a lint magnet until the adhesive at the edges wears out. But then it looks really good.
For me it only had two downsides:
1. Eventually, it started to lift at a couple of spots.
2. Can't be transferred to another device (like a case can) if you need to replace your phone for some reason.
i was amazed to find this made it an instant buy so i just wanted to share this

it's a thin film you put on the back of the phone to give it a brushed metal look unfortunatly it is not what i thought when i saw it i thought it was a very thin piece of metal you attach at the back
but it seems to be vinyl i hope that won't make it feel cheap
but the looks?
well judge for yourself (in my opinion what the xperia z1 was meant to look like from the beginning)

I had that exact "sticker" for the xperia z. That saler also has it in carbon. I really liked it and didn't feel cheap. It had a texture to it and those were perfectly cut out. One small problem it did had was that if you put your phone in water, the sticker leaves a residu and it kinda moved a bit. Now i have the white z1, and i really like it naked as it is. Maybe i will buy these later in black!

If only it was a case...
I think it looks really good. How does it feel? And how about scratch resistance? Still, I do love the Z1 design.
Hey everyone
I was just wondering whether these Vinyl skins are reliable enough....
I mean can we trust them? :silly:
They look all awesome and pretty but does that have its own backdrops?
I got a few advices saying it's not worth it....
For Nexus 5 "the adhesive sticks to the back and ruins the rubberized matte back"
"it causes the Nexus Logo embellishments to come off when you later remove the skin"
Are these true?
I wanted suggestions from people who've used such skins/have had experience with them?
Thanks in advance

I have heard of both issues before as well. And I'm pretty sure both can be solved by just heating the skin (with hair dryer or something) before removing.

Im using a dbrand skin on my Red Nexus so cant really comment on the rubber peeling off, but there are cutouts for the nexus logo on the back so there's no way that the skin will peel away along eith the nexus logo inlays. All you need to do to peel it off is to heat up the skin with a hair drier or a heat gun and that mkaes it easier to remove it.
I have used 2 Nexus 5 s till date and I keep changing my SW vinyl, ICarbon, Printvenue etc to alter my Phones look almost every 7 days.
I peel off the back without the use of a Heat Gun till date but neither my Nexus 5 Black or White has ever shown problems like u said.
(May be that I got Lucky everytime for the last 30Odd times or the NEXUS 5 quality is just super awesome ).

Here are my 2 Sexy Girlfriends .....
Don't know if this is the case for many of you who is using the new smartwatch 3. My black band seems to attract fabric particles and dusts like crazy. The band itself looks really dirty and I had just cleaned it in the morning. The pictures below are taken after wearing the watch for 3 hours. And I am just wearing normal dress shirt. Actually, it doesn't matter what I weared as it was the same yeaterday.
See attached images...

Nice try, <fill in your own blank>... I was out and about over this weekend.
Back to topic, compared to my Gear Fit, I can wear it for 3- 4 days without taking it off and the band never does this. Hopefully, we got our metal band soon.

May be... it is getting cold here in Central PA, USA. About 40°F.
Same problème. My black band is grey.
I will own one soon. It might be a stupid question but if you pour water over it does the dust come out ?
It's quite easy to wipe off with your thumb, but it's there when you use some fibre sweaters...

Yes, the dust and particle are very easily wash off with water. Still rocking mine.
Yep
At least it a color changing band...It's a major dust magnet. I usually run my through the faucet everyday.
Can't really complain. Its winter it's often underneath sweaters/jackets and it's almost pristine. Actually I love how it feels, it's very ergonomic.
First, I'm not a current owner of a Z3C but I'm planning to buy it in 3 months because of it's awesome camera, battery and Hi-res audio support
I just started this thread because, since the poor Sony costumer service , and my paranoia about the "hidrofobic coating" getting messed up with salty/chlorine water of the Z3C. I found this:
I'm new so i can't post links but just go to seashell.hk and look in the products tab for the iPhone 5 case housing

Ok ok i Know it's for iPhone 5/5S/5C BUT! when you check what comes in the package, you found this beauty: IMG (2)
So, as you can see comes with a cushions set, so you can customize the position of the phone into the case, and as this image indicates:
It's a huge difference in the camera position, a plus for this case it's that you can download the camera app to properly use the Seashell Case, based on the theory of align the Z3C on the case, I guess the physical buttons will not fit the Seashell´s camera app buttons
Sounds funny why I started the thread, but I´ve seen a lot of users complaining about how their phones died after two or three submersions on sea water, or in the other hand people who it's happy because never have failed after shooting underwater, and of course I don't want to be the unlucky one...
Finally I found this case:
[/ATTACH]
Seems practical since it's a standard case almost look as a daily use case, but I found a problem, and it's that the case have a blurry section of the plastic, and as it's not a firmly shaped plastic that covers the cameraa as the first case I presented you I guess you can't take nice shoots underwater
Just wash it with freshwater once you get out of the pool/sea.
Nothing to worry about, and most of all, nothing worth spending money in.
AFAIK the Z series does not use hydrophobic coating for water proofing, but instead uses a plain old waterproof cabinet where the water never gets to the sensitive parts in te first place. Where have you seen that it used hydrophobic coatings?

They might use them for the speaker, mic, headphone jack and other "holes" that are necessary in the case.
