It has ls970 in the file name, so probably gproj based. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk

That's right gproj but it flashes fine on with it's own Baked in kernel only need to flash another kernel if you just want another kernel... Lol... sorry am running it right now and didn't have to flash another kernel to boot so figured I'd share my findings.. Real smooth so far Bud great job

I'm working again on geespr(mako) right now. I started building originally with geespr, but each time it came out severly borked. xbox gave me a potential fix, we'll see how this build turns out. With any luck, we'll have a geespr build by tomorrow morning to play with as well.

You are,,,, the man. Great job!

Still working on geespr. Had several build errors I need to take care of. Slowly but surely...
I'll have an updated ls970 build up later this evening though. They made a couple changes, added a few features. They added Slim Pie back in today

Geespr is being built with xb kernel. There are some git commits xboxfanj told me to edit though, see if that gets things working. With unedited source, the builds have all come out borked.
Once I get a good build completed for geespr, I'll hit you up. PM me your hangout info and I'll add you.

Hey guys! I love me some Carbon! I did notice though that wifi tether does not work. Id love to share a logcat but dont know how. Tether turns on and shows a signal but there is no transfer of data. I went back to mahdi and Ive got a connection again. One other thing I had to do with Carbon was update the apns for better service. Aside from that its got to be the smoothest KK build ive run to date.

Hmmm. In regards to apn's, I'm wondering what happened. It had the wrong ones to begin with, swapped in the right ones I thought. I'll check it out. As for tether, I'll have to look into it, see if we can get anything done. I haven't tested it myself, but never use the built in tether feature anyways. I'm hoping to have my geespr build up this evening(no promises though), maybe that'll have working tether for you.

New build up in the OP. Has some neat features added in, should have the right Sprint apn's. Let me know if you guys catch any bugs.

Lte works amazing on this built of cm 10.2 I am currently in the NYC area haven't done a speedtest but browsing and using Pandora have been snappy. Only issue I have is the WiFi and rapid battery drain with the android system running high I took my phone off the charger at 650 and till now its at 75% alrdy....... most of it standby time
Thought I'd try to flash this rom. Unfortunately I have the same result as 10.1 stable.
Stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SIII splash screen
I have a brand new S3, literally less than a week old...

I flashed this to my Virgin Mobile phone to get root and be on MD4, http://rwilco12.com/downloads.php?d...H-L710)/Stock ROMs/JB/MD4/Full Restore/Rooted
I wasn't able to use a custom recovery until this was released yesterday, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391616
The other recoveries would flash just fine (I could install them but they couldn't read any storage) but they wouldn't mount anything. This recovery works perfectly.
I tried all the stable versions up until 10.1.0, some other guy with my same issue tried 10.0 and no dice.

only noobnl's build from december 2012 with the boot screen disabled "presumably" has allowed us to boot.

Not much to be honest. I'd say now that CM is starting to port their CM10.2 features over, CM would be a better choice if features are your thing. The biggest reason I'm not using CM is because there's no way for me to turn off the key backlights, I really can't stand them lol. On these builds I included the good old device settings which let's you turn them off. Not to mention, PA feels a bit more snappier to me and has a smaller rom.zip file

2 best working roms

I'm hoping some of you fine folks can help me find a 4.4.2 KitKat Rom for Hercules with working video camcorder and GPS.
Have been using SlimKat for the last month. It's a great super smooth Rom, but lacks working video and GPS.
Thanks.

roms for sgh-t989 a.k.a. hercules .. is 1) illusion 4.2.2 and 2) hellkat 4.4.2 2014/02/23, the only thing with hellkat is you will need to download a cam and delete the system one .. i downloaded "a better camera" from piratebay.. best i've ever used
also the extra options on hellkat like build prop and int tweaks dont seem to stay checked so i assume they dont work .. but for kitkat 4.4.2 for sgh t989 this runs smooth .. i havent found any other kitkat rom that runs smooth .. most of them when you turn the screen on it lags for 30 seconds

1080p camera/video works out of the box .Tested with a stock "Camera" and "Quick ShotMX" (or smth like that).
You can always use a 3rd party camera. Google camera is alright

CM finally fixed this issue, but be advised to use an updated kernel.

is it just me or is the paranoid the only milestone 4.4.2 rom?

[Q] Is there an archive for Cyanogenmod's builds downloads?

I'm trying to find Release Candidate 1 or 2 of Cyanogenmod 9 for the Lg Nitro HD (cm-9.0.0-RC1-p930.zip or cm-9.0.0-RC2-p930.zip). They are last versions of Cyanogenmod 9 that work with bluetooth keyboards, and this device drains battery quickly so the newer versions of Cyanogenmod aren't for me yet. Does anyone have or know where to get these files?

CM9 RC1 was the best for me out of all I've tried. I think about reverting back to it, but want to keep trying the new stuff that guys are working hard on.

Do you still have the ZIP of RC1 or RC2? It would help me out if you uploaded it to Google Docs or someplace so I could get it. I don't need any of the newer stuff in Jelly Bean, and I used RC1 for close to a whole year before my previous device got damaged, it is actually quite stable.
Goo.im just has Cyanogenmod 10 Release Candidates.

They do have the last two or three nightlies which were based on the final release just some minor bug fixes. Look here: http://www.goo.im/devs/cm/p930/nightly
Go with the 09042012 nightly, it includes the bug fixes since cm9.1 and rc2 and amounts to the final release of cm9. This IS the most reliable and stable Cyanogen rom period.

I guess I should try building the "ics-release" branch(?) of Cyanogenmod from Github and see if that works.

AICP [5.0.1][unofficial]

Well I have had this out on my other forum for a bit now and figured it was time to share here on XDA. This is an unofficial build of AICP so if you have any issues please post here and no where else. If you like what AICP has done then go to their G+ page and thank them because they did all the hard work not me.

This rom has all the normal note 2 lollipop issues
Known Issues:
Screen off reboot -- To prevent this just turn on wifi once and after that you can run wifi off/on and wont have any issue
Keyboard no showing -- Open settings go to languages and input.. current keyboard.. and enable hardware keyboard option
GPS -- The gps sensor does not work.. You can flash the gps fix in the 3rd post to gain gps

Not sure what your issue is. That version has been out for awhile on the other forum and does work. Did you try using the shift kernel?

sweet!! hope you like it. i will start doing nightlies of this and evervolv next year. since lp (lollipop) is new you will find new features on each nightly. the posted build is from the 22nd and new things have already been added such as circle bar and gesture anywhere. it will take some time for these roms to have all the cool features of kk but those features will show up.

Evervolv does not have network traffic. Actually Evervolv has almost no extra options and will not have much added to it. It is designed to be extremely close to stock aosp.
I have tried netflix on every lp rom and it does not work. This is a note 2 issue. Netflix does work on there devices.

AICP 10 / 5.1.1 build?
Is there a stable AICP 10 (lollipop 5.1.1) build for the Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900? I recently installed the stable version on my daughter's Galaxy S3, and I really like it. I'd like to put the Ice Cold Project on my Note II, but I can't find it anywhere. Any pointers? I'm really not in the mood to deal with all the sudden problems that pop up in nightly builds.

Jlmancuso got banned, so I'm not sure we will ever see more development on the roms he was working on. The note 2 is getting less and less development as it ages, just the natural life cycle of phones.
I see Jlmancuso got banned? He seemed such a great help here! Hopefully someone can shed some light on that one!
But I also just installed the ROM and do like it. But seem to have 1 weird issue in that my camera will not work. At first it only showed the front facing camera, and not the back. And then after trying to switch to video, it also can't find the camera.
I'm going to try and load a the camera.apk from the Alliance Rom (my former rom) if that is possible. But everything else seems to be working good on it.
