Hey guys. Really need some help. I couldn't start my SXS after completely draining it. It starts, shows kernel logo, then XPERIA then the system startup animation. Then after that, the screen freezes and restarts again. What should I do? I tried using TWRP USB mounting so I could flash my custom ROM (existenz black v2) but I saved it in my laptop so I used the usb mounting. But when I did, my internal storage wouldn't show up. I can still flash the kernel I am using because I saved it in my internal storage. Please help. Thanks.

Hi
I'm looking for help. I totally messed up my Xperia Play. Phone has been rooted and flashed. What I have done was using CWM i have formatted system data and sd card. Now phone not even want to boot, just black screen with Sony Ericsson in the middle. PC not recognised USB connection. Is there any way to bring it to life ?
Thanks in advance.
Flashed any roms?
Look after some tutorials about fast boot flashing if you don't know how. If you do then just find any kernel and flash it. If you can enter Cwm then simply flash the ROM which suits your kernel.

hello guys, when i did this method (flashing the rom) and worked fine but when i turned on my phone and get it into recovery mode (purple led) , Its not on CWM but in TeamWinrecovery, (i know that i have CWM installed and tried cwm recovery before any flashing) Sooo, i wipe data/ dalvik etc then installed CM10 and GAPPS, and reboot, now im stuck on the cyanogen logo, i kept on rebooting it and doing the same procedure (wipe data/dalvik, install cm10 gapps) same results. Stuck on cyanogenmod logo but the circle thing is still moving, I havent tried waiting for one hour or two on that cyanogenmod boot logo. Should i really flash any roms using CWM? how do i install CWM without the phone turning on? pls help
Update: Left it on cyanogenmod logo last night and i think my phone is now on low battery status, What should i do?
Have you tried formatting the system as well in mounts and storage?

So i got my ass to this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835285
and fallowed everything to the letter!
But when i try to start the device it goes to the htc logo screen with the red writing beneath it restarts and again to the screen but this time it stays there!
I flashed the kernel that came with the .zip and my first thought was to remove it from the zip.But remove it or not i tried every possible way,its always the same thing: htc bootscreen with red writing!
Please help.
If no solutions work than please direct me to a Jelly Bean rom thats somewhat light!
try cm10 hellboy kernel
Flash Hellboy Kernel for CM10 using fastboot command

Hi all,
I messed up my phone & need some help please to get it back. Like an idiot, I didn't have a backup saved on my memory card.
I did a reset & think I wiped out my ROM. When I try to boot my phone, it won't go past the loading screen. I can boot into ClockworkMod Recovery however. I have the USB cable hooked up and installed the drivers to my computer, but I can't get my computer to see it so I can load a new ROM on my memory card.
Any ideas on how I can put a new ROM on my memory card from ClockworkMod Recovery?

An easy way is to follow the steps in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116490
It will basically take your phone back to stock. You'll need to root again, and re-apply the custom recovery once done
When I boot into ODIN mode, the phone displays "Downloading....do not turn off target!!"
The SPH-l900 LJC Root Restore is all blank. (I ran as admin)

Get a memory sdcard and load a rom in it. Then boot into clockwork and install the rom from your external sdcard.
btw this belongs in Q/A section

Thanks, I will have to try that when I have a memory card reader. Sorry for posting in the wrong section, I was afraid I would do that. I picked Sprint Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Thanks for the help. I was able to load JellyBomb on my SDcard and I am back in business!

Whenever I reboot my device after the samsung logo animation my screen always displays" ANDROID IS UPGRADING-starting apps "!
which is quite a bit irritating.Pls someone help.I dont want that thing.
If you're on CM based rom then you see this message after boot & its normal thing.
when you add some mods / clear catch / did something with your CWM / any recovery then this message popup after boot,
this means its rechecking all updated apps & preparing your device for use.

The tweaks that you might have flashed through recovery might be causing this.
Some tweak scripts zipalign on every boot and others edit and apply values into your system on each boot. This would make your phone say "Android is upgrading" on each boot
I think you needa delete dalvik cache

i found out that a setting in Link2SD can reproduce that problem, it's Relink dex files at boot. If it is checked it will show android is upgrading every boot but if unchecked it does not show. i hope this helps
clr cache n dalvic cache
i could work

I was scouring xda for a fix to my problem for days.... I had recently deodexed my stock ROM on Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, and my link2sd had that checked ... so I had that frustrating problem. Thanks a ton
