[Q] Question to ARHD Users

I am currently using ARHD 6.1.2 but also had this problem with 6.1.1
When I install google+ (the new leaked version)
(I haven't tried the old/current version)
Its causes some Force closes,
mainly with my people process (contacts)
So i can not access my contact, not even when im composing an sms or via any other way!
Has anyone else experienced this problem and has anyone got a solution?

Yes, there's been quite a bit of discussion about this in the main thread. I haven't tried it myself, but the new G+ app is causing FC for a lot of (all?) users. It may well be a problem with the underlying HTC base software. Only "solution" I've seen is to uninstall it, sorry.

I'd suggest we all wait for Google to release v2.0 officially, that way we would avoid a lot of issues

I get Force Close on superuser, anywhere from 2-10 times a day...whether the phone is judt on main screen with no apps open, but use any rooted apps like system app remover, rom manager etc etc....force close all the time.
pull out battery, go into recovery, fix permissions...sorts it for an hour or so, then starts all over again....aRGHHH!!!

Do you have the Market version of Superuser installed? If you do, check to see if it has updated to 3.0.5, and if so uninstall the upgrade. There's more about this in the main ARHD thread.

Cannot download anything from play store.

I cannot download anything from the play store after flashing the rom again.it was all good before.but after flashing it again due to some probs i cannot download or update anything.tried clear data from setting,cleared cache,dalvik cache,fixed permission.flashed the gapps again but still does not work.it pops an error message. 'Upload of xxx could not be completed due to an error.error retrieving info from server'. Any clue wat can cause this problem?

After flashing xenon hd rom v8 again.tried clearing google services framework.now i cant even enter play store.it says server error

I could fix. I installed market enabler. Nw everything is working fine.thanks anyway

How exactly did you get market enabler to work/fix the issue? I installed, and it says that it works, but I can't get past the server issue at all. I've tried setting it to TMobile and VZW US, tried Canadian settings, and a few others ...
I'm on a VZW GNex, running a nightly of AOKP. The issue started literally out of nowhere in the afternoon yesterday. hadn't changed any settings or flashed a new rom. Just got out of work, and couldn't connect to the market all of a sudden. This did coincide with a Rom Manager gallery screw up though - fixed that luckily. Decided to re-flash my current ROM, but that hasn't helped either.
Almost wonder whether it's worth relocking, going back to stock, and exchanging the phone =/

Try clearing market data and google services framework data.then try again.i changed it to T-mobile.that worked for me.

ISSUES:

Been running for about 8 hours, no major problems. Responsive and fluid, UI is beautiful.

If you do run into some issues, would you mind compiling a list of what's not working and posting? Also, does tethering work for you in this build?

DOnt go PMing HIM or ME for help with things or asking for ETA's he was kind enough to let us see it in its infancy, Its not even Cyanogen official yet, so DONT go asking them either..

Yes, tethering worked. I had a reboot after exiting out of ES, and restoring my backup for Rom Toolbox hangs every time in Titanium, but the rest of my 50 or so apps restored and seem to work fine. I've seen reports of Youtube and various other media apps not working but also others claiming they were working find, so YMMV.

Why? Hosting isn't cheap, and mega is one of the faster free hosts that I've downloaded ROMs from. Its been great for me.

can we use rom from International Note3 directly without changing any lib or other ?

ROM itself works very well, WiFi seemed okay, wasn't able to test calling, BT, or GPS unfortunately.
Anyone else get a crash followed by a bootloop after enabling Google Now (happens a few seconds after switching on in google settings, repeatable)? Happened to me twice, both on clean flashes. Had to go back to my previous ROM because I needed my phone.
If no one else can reproduce the problem, I'll try to get last_kmsg.

Just flash it and gaps and then flash supersu.zip

I have enabled google now without issues. Cant donanything with yiur logcat though, im kot a developer. Just reposting the tmobile version where we all can see it

It will give error .002 or something.
Dont worry about that, it flashed. Then flash gapps and then supersu.zip and reboot

Error

Great work but mega still is a pita. Won't open the email confirmation link to setup an account.

I was running this for a bit last night, the following gave me reboots:
Google Plus - instant reboot when opening
Google Play Music - Instant reboot when opening
Pandora - Instant reboot when opening
Netflix - Instant reboot when opening
Entering settings and attempting to reconfigure wifi - Reboot
All in all, it was AWESOME to see lollipop on my tmo note 3, but had to switch back to temasek's CM11 rom because I stream LOTS to my chromecast using the above programs....and without those, I can't use it as a daily.

[Q] Netflix on Cm12 based Roms???

I have tried several AOSP roms and have not gotten Netflix to work on any of them. I have tried liquidsmooth and PacRom but I keep getting Error (-9). Does anyone know of a fix for this? Please help..Thanks.

Using SELinuxModeChanger app, you can set to permissive and give it a go, it sometimes work.
Another method is to delete a lib file within
/system/vendor/lib
Liboemcrypto.so, you can rename or simply delete, then reboot the device.

I personally didn't have luck with the permissive change and couldn't find the liboemcrypto.so file you spoke of. Is that specific to the Galaxy Note 4?

No sir, most ROMs don't have the lib, and what ROM are you using ?

Using liquid smooth on a moto xt926. I've noticed this problem on various cm12 ROMs I've tried. They had Netflix running for a while then it kind of stopped for recently then I think the last one I tried that I worked on was bliss pop 3.2. Jump over to liquid smooth because. Was pretty laggy and causing me a little pain. Back to a loading screen. Never comes up. I will say I thought it was a host file or ad block problem because I could get it going on WiFi. Just not on cellular data.

Think pulling and using the apk from a nexus device would change anything?

Beats me, I think that it probably is not an issue with the apk itself.
My best guess is that it is ROM related. Didn't cm ROMs have some DRM related issues a year or so ago? Wouldn't surprise me if it's something along those lines.
BTW, forgot to mention that you can't even get to netflix.com and browser. just more thoughts as to why I don't think it's actual program related it something in the ROM.

It is ROM/Kernel related for the Note 4 before I think @Mod57 fixed it but all it was is to change a build.prop line. Try and see if this works for you as well.

If the value is already there and it says True, change it to false.

Did this on a previous build (cm12 5-8-2015 I believe), seems to work although more testing is needed to determine consistency. Failed first time worked second.

Has anyone had better luck finding a solution for this? I came from DU's latest and now on CM12.1 6/25 nightly, everything is working great except for Netflix. I was never able to get it to work in DU so I won't be terribly heartbroken if I can't get it fixed, but I do not have Lyboemcrypto.so file or that specific persist line in my build.prop. Any other suggestions? I was getting a -504 error when attempting to install a couple apps, turning flight mode on/off took care of that, so I tried that as well as wifi on and off both for Netflix but cannot get it to initialize, all I get is the constant red spinning circle of the first screen. Thanks

Workaround
Install the module xposed cm10.1 Netflix workaround under xposed framework. Works perfectly on t0lte.

5.1.1 Tether?

Currently Running Blisspop and unable to get tethering to work. Either from within the rom itself or with apps off the play store. It always tells me that there's no internet connection. I'm also unable to switch from ip6 to ip4. Doing so causes me to lose data completely. Is this a LP issue or a rom issue?

ROM issue or phone issue. Tether certainly works for thousands of folks on many different roms. I suggest you ask in the Blisspop Q&A thread. Good luck!
