LS970 has the same hardware as E975 so kernel should be the same, the only difference is that LS970 is CMDA, causing wifi issues on E975.
Viper ZVC is a stock based kernel with some very useful modifications: UC, OC, voltages control, faux gamma / audio and dynamic FSYNC.
Download from HERE
IMPORTANT: I will also upload a flashable recovery archieve with necessary modules to get wifi working, and modules_stock in case you restore LG stock boot.img
Known issues
max / min CPU freqs random reset (usually after reboot you have to set them back in trickster mod)
Strange LED behaviour (fixed using LightFlow with direct mode and root mode switched on)

Back up with CWM. In case there is anything wrong, you can do advanced restore and restore the boot.img. For now, we don't have stock kernel. I tried it and it is working. So far no issues.
I read somewhere that cpu frequency is 1.8 for default and even if reduced keeps jumpin to the highest value. The same for the gpu. Can someone check this?

True, this problem can be solved turning off mpdecision and activating freq lock. But 1.8ghz is really stable never had any issues and it hardly touch 1.8 with mpdecision on. (35h, only 9 minutes on 1.8)
Thankyou.
Downloading kernel,will try later.
Is this kernel undervotaged by default? Or we need some app?

Can't install apps from playstore after flashing this kernel and modules fix. I'm getting error 403 or error 923 after reboot. Done factory reset...same errors occur. Tried on Savvy rom v5.1 and E97510b-CIS-XX 4.1.2 - MODv1.51
how to fix this?

Definetely the kernel has nothing to do with play store, so no ideea what causes your problem.
Good kernel in Stock rom.
it just available for stock rom?
Wifi is not working for me. I'm on savvyrom 5.1...
I flashed kernel and then modules. Am I missing something?

You shud've taken the backup of /system/lib/modules folder before flashing the kernel.
OP pls add this in your main section.
After i flashed the Stock kernel(by restoring the boot.img) my wifi didn't work. All i did is, I replaced the files in /system/lib/modules/prima with the one i did backup before.
Hope this one solves wifi problem with kernel.

Can I install any Kernel with any ROM? For example DoomKernel With Stock ROM or another custom ROM?
Why?
I have my xperia arc s rooted (as checked by root checker) and with busybox and superuser and even CWM and everything... but when flashing the kernel it tells me FAILED (remote: The Device must be rooted first)... what is wrong?!
Enable USB debugging and then try re-flashing
---------- Post added at 01:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 PM ----------
It depends some custom ROMS require a specific kernel for it... for e.g. CM9 requires it own FXP kernel because CM9 cant run with the stock kernel or with any over
always check what kernel you need when installing a custom ROM or if installing a custom kernel on a stock ROM check if it works

You have to unlock your Bootloader 1st in order to Flash a Custom Kernal....
Search the General or DEV section for Bootloader unlocking information .....
depends what the rom has
Lemme put my question here: is there any other way to flash kernel other than using fastboot? On my Desire I just flashed them through recovery or with Kernel Manager.

5This is my first rom for the Note 2!!! This is the Nordic released firmware for the N7105. This is completely stock other removing knox and adding xposed framework along with wanam xposed module. It is rooted, has busybox, and deodexed. This is a WIP if there are any mods anyone would like me to add just let me know. Im not sure what all I should do to it maybe t-mobilize it? Note 3-ize it? keep it slim? Slim it some more? I am up for any ideas and suggestions. I am not an expert at modding so either make the mod your self and pass it to me or show me a link to a guide (or just tell me).

That would be great? if you can't just be yourself....and do whatever you like, I wouldn't mind flashing it....sometime too much get to have too much errors and effect the battery life.
Updating: I flashed the dual Kernal thing, and now my phone wouldn't even boot up! it goes to blank, did I finally break my phone?

No men....just pull battery out then put it back again, go to recovery, make a factory/data reset and flash the rom again, then the su and reboot it again...once boot to os look for the kernel but the one who is the 1.5.0 version....
Does the data still drop with the newest version of the devil2 kernel when the screen is off? I'm wondering if this can be used as a daily driver.
The data drop is not really a kernel problem. We need a 4.3 modem to get rid of the drops. It's fairly easy fix though. I have a tasker profile to turn data off when screen is off and back on with screen. I get a signal instantly

Could not make a call. I changed APN settings and nothing. I am about to try a different modem and also, if I have it, the english version of the custom settings...
After numerous attempts to make a call, I have decided to go back to a dif build. I've done all I can (all I know) and nothing works for me. If someone knows a fix, I'll give this ROM another try. I will note that the camera/video recording does indeed work. Unfortunately, I did not take much time to test the audio from videos because I need to have service available, as I am in management and can't afford to miss calls.

UKM
install the Synapse app from the playstore,
and remove or disable Trickstermod, Faux control, or any in-ROM kernel control apps and settings.
there are some great AK and HD profiles on synapse for mako, which run well on gee too. check it here and here.
To import Synapse profiles

time to sleep now in china, i'll do it tomorrow.
please keep updated the aosp one too, the cm one is not working on carbon and slimkat
Trying out these kernels out on the latest AxxionKat had some... interesting results. Trying the latest Matr1x and MiRaGe both got me a black screen when I booted my phone though oddly enough I could still access my phone's data by plugging it in normally. With AK though I at least got an image though it was a massively distorted version of what the first time welcome screen should normally be. All clean flashes. Factory resetting didn't help either. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here. Any help?
You'll need a mod version of these kernels with axxionkat rom

When you get funky display errors on a rom, it means you need to use a different kind of kernel. You'll need the AOSP versions to run my roms, carbon, and slimkat

Thanks. I had assumed that since I saw some CM cherry picks in your ROM that it was CM-based but I guess not. I guess having a few CM apps doesn't really mean anything. Thanks for clarifying that. AxxionKat is excellent by the way. Probably one of the best ROM experiences I've had on this phone.

Thanks! That means a lot!
My Rom is actually cm based, but with my luck, all of my roms require AOSP kernels. Even though I've wiped my hard drive numerous times.
somethings new:
Matr1x-gee-130814-aosp;
AK.345.GEE; (aosp)
AK.345.GEE.CM.+.

Hi
For those who are encountering post boot freezes, please make sure that you aren't using trickstermod to apply dt2w on boot.

Then what's application I should use to apply dt2w or s2w. And when should I apply that?
Manually after boot?

So, you think there is connection between post boot freeze and dt2w that set by trickster mod?

Actually, any app that set dt2w on boot while screen is off will lead to digitizer failure.
I uploaded a new release (still beta) that should fix any post boot crash due to cpu bad voltages, dt2w and s2w are still unstable imho but some people like to use them so they will remain.

It seem we dont need to modify anything in init.d folder to change max/min cpufreq, right ? i use tricstermod and everything work well without init.d modyfing
Anw, how to change the DEFAULT max freq? I want to change to 1512 from 1728
