[ROM]XXUEMK5 stock deodexed-knox free-rooted international rom - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

5This is my first rom for the Note 2!!! This is the Nordic released firmware for the N7105. This is completely stock other removing knox and adding xposed framework along with wanam xposed module. It is rooted, has busybox, and deodexed. This is a WIP if there are any mods anyone would like me to add just let me know. Im not sure what all I should do to it maybe t-mobilize it? Note 3-ize it? keep it slim? Slim it some more? I am up for any ideas and suggestions. I am not an expert at modding so either make the mod your self and pass it to me or show me a link to a guide (or just tell me).

I'm not sure of dual boot kernel works. Use the one named devil2. Not sure what happens if you take update. Can't be good though lol

I'm downloading it right now....early I had downloaded : the Intrnl version of Dr Ketan but the data didn't work...can you import some of his tweaks? That would be great? if you can't just be yourself....and do whatever you like, I wouldn't mind flashing it....sometime too much get to have too much errors and effect the battery life.
Updating: I flashed the dual Kernal thing, and now my phone wouldn't even boot up! it goes to blank, did I finally break my phone?

I am going to add a note to the op. Don't flash the dual boot kernel

No men....just pull battery out then put it back again, go to recovery, make a factory/data reset and flash the rom again, then the su and reboot it again...once boot to os look for the kernel but the one who is the 1.5.0 version....

Does the data still drop with the newest version of the devil2 kernel when the screen is off? I'm wondering if this can be used as a daily driver.

The data drop is not really a kernel problem. We need a 4.3 modem to get rid of the drops. It's fairly easy fix though. I have a tasker profile to turn data off when screen is off and back on with screen. I get a signal instantly

Suggestion: Can we get an option to reboot to recovery when I hold the power button down?

[ROM] MIUI V5 + LTE Fix Guide

First let me say I am not a developer. I have been here a long time and what one would call a Flash-o-Holic/Themer. I always revert back to MIUI on every phone i've had. (Evo,S2,S3,Note,Note 2) and Now the S4 - Except noone had made MIUI for our phone. So, I dove in on the I9505 ROM and found a way to make it work... Flawlessly.
Follow the following steps:
Get ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2306650
Get Gapps: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miui...miuiandroid_gapps-4.2.2-small_signed-8012.zip
Thank Developer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=569047
Optional (if you have custom kernal locked in this helped me)
Get Kernel: http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/...IDremoved/MDL/SetUIDRestrictRemovedKernel.zip
Once you have everything place it all on your ext-sd
I used OUDhs recovery:
Wipe everything 2x
Format system, data, cache.
Install: Kernal
Reboot right back into OUDhs
Wipe everything 2x
Install ROM
Reboot
Once ROM is up and settled reboot into recovery
Wipe cache/davlik once
Install Gapps
Reboot
Go to setting, mobile networks, Network type selection and choose LTE - It will then kick on - Data, sms, and mms working see attachments
I would not expect the original dev to support us on this, but its a great build and works seamlessy with our phones - If
you have any questions or need help I'll do the best I can for you!!
System will show I9505 but M919 baseband
All ROM Credit goes to Bmarko82

Also MIUI is unlike any other ROM.. It almost might as well be classified as a different operating system.

So question, the link you are directing us to download from is in the original thread on 9505...9505 kernel works on our phone? Im confuse. Do we need to flash another kernel or something? How exactly did you make this compatible for Tmobile GS4 if we are downloading exactly the original rom? And also we are suppose to install the kernel first before installing the actual rom?
Sorry I'm a muiu virgin ^.^
P.S hows the camera?

Yes the 9505 miui kernal works on ours, I listed it as optional because ( I myself was on darthstalker, Infamous Kernal), and thru my trial and error I found by resetting the factory Kernal and rebooting recovery and writing over it with Miui rom it finally loaded..
P.s. The camera is sweet pinch to zoom etc..
Also: I never said I made it compatible, it already was.. sorta... I just figured out how to make it work on our phones without errors...
Just follow the steps exactly..
Formatting is essential.. If you get just the S4 logo.. Reboot recovery and try again you missed something..
If you get the Miui logo but no boot.. Reboot recovery and try again, you missed something...

I have been running this on my T-Mo s4 for a week now and it's been running very smooth. No random reboots, no fc's etc. Good battery life. The Play store may give you issues initially but clear data and cache of play store, reboot and you should be good.
yes MIUI is the iOS of Android, all we can hope is Hugo Barra can get MIUI to be open source
All in all a pretty good and smooth rom. you do not need any other kernel. stock kernel is pretty good.
How difficult would it be to switch back with no problems from twiz to this? I'm curious to check it out but pretty sure it wouldn't be my dd. Just remember losing me imei on my s3 and don't want to go through that nightmare again. Lol I had to buy a cheap pc to fix my phone

Anyway, OP.. you might consider uploading a flashable zip to change the build.prop to SGH-M919 jfltetmo, or even upload the ROM with it included.
Or they can change it manually, meh, lol.

no need for flashify. It is a kernel only so it wont mess with your current ROM install. Just download and flash in recovery. It is in any kernel format so you wont see a boot img in the zip. It extracts the current boot img from your current rom, unpacks it(splits it into the kernel and ramdisk) and then repacks it with my kernel and the roms ramdisk. As with anything else, make a backup before flashing.

By the way, I've tried unpacking the boot.img and editing the init.rc and setting "setenforce" to 0 but it still remains as enforcing.

I noticed some comments on the download saying after installing they fell into a boot loop, but I didn't have any problems like that. Only two issues I saw was rom mgr was gone and wifi couldn't get past "...turning on" (even after a reboot).
I went ahead and went back to my backup and will give cm11 a try every day or so - the wifi thing I suspect will work itself out.

Most likely yes, TWRP is the culprit. Try Philz Touch 6.0.0.8, it has been amazing for me. Make sure to do a complete wipe of system, Dalvik-cache, and cache, the option on Philz is called "complete wipe to install new ROM" and then make sure to flash 4.4 GApps as well.

the cameras fine. the original CM 11 had some bugs like the front facing camera freezing up a phone and causing a reboot but the newest updates based off Google's release of 4.4.1 which was to fix bugs with the camera on the Nexus 5 they have fixed all camera issues and it even takes photos/focuses faster than before.
anybody able to use ART runtime, mine just reboots but it doesn't change it. my nexus 7 with CM11 does run ART though, any luck?
everything seems to be working fine and super fast. calendar wasn't syncing but today's update thru the playstore fixed it for me. camera seems the same to me.
running 12-1013 nightlie.

I have read that if you use GAPPS, you need to flash a special ART compatible version if you want to use the ART runtime.

it was the same GAPPS i used on my Nexus 7 tho, ohh well, im gonna have to read up on it, i did try looking for info here at xda but couldnt find much, didnt have much much time to look though.
I just Installed the newest nightly and Xposed Installer+GravityBox(KK) to make up for the past CM features such as controlling the brightness witht the status bar and changing the launching application on the notification bar's Time & Date. One feature I am still missing is removing the names of the apps on the homescreen... If you like extra features and modifications to your guy's phone i highly recomment Xposed+Gravitybox. Here is the link for who ever is interested: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Im loving 4.4 even with a broken screen which i hoping to abandon soon, but it really feels like a new phone and new experience, i know there wasnt much change but still

Ok.... Thank you so much!!! I will give it another try after this one didnt work... I had given up but I will try and flash again.... I will let you know the turnout
Thanks for the ROM. I'll be testing and report back on how it works for me.
One issue I immediately see if that wifi seems to not be working for me. Every time I try and turn it on, it is either greyed out and I can't toggle it, or if I am able to toggle it, it just doesn't do anything. I rebooted, still same issue. I think I flashed it properly (I wiped data, cache, dalvik, system), but I may try flashing again.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for this?
EDIT: Did a second full wipe and flash and still no wifi. Everything else seems to work connection wise, airplane mode, bluetooth, mobile data, just not wifi.
Already fix that problem
A new update should be here soon it is being uploading to mega wifi is fix

You can look in the ROM thread for a fix...on page 4 or 5.
DPI change?
Hey, the ROM is still going smooth. No real issues so far (except my battery life isn't as good as before, but it's not terrible or anything).
I have been trying to change the DPI on this ROM, but I have not been able to make it stick. I have tried using the build prop editor app as well as directly editing the build prop via ES File Explorer. Neither has worked. Has anyone been able to change their DPI or is there something specific that I need to do to get it working?
