[help] zl bootloop - Sony Xperia ZL

Friends, help.
My phone is having reboots on 4.3 rom be it any nationality.
Initially I thought it was due to the use of Xposed, but these bootloops have become an endless routine in my life.
Only in 4.2.2 i had no such problems, I am currently with stock rom 101 of Singapore and have been through this problem once.
What to do to stop this problem? I have unlocked BL.
Thanks

I just got mine in the mail today and received the OTA. No issues. Probably helped that my phone is pretty clean. Have you tried a factory reset yet?

Funny people think custom Rom is the solution of everything.
A factory reset will fix the issue, providing we are talking about stock Rom and ota update.

scambled static sound on calls

I have an ion and sometimes when i get a phone call there is a weird sound and you cant hear the call at all. it sounds like a scrambled signal. the only way to resolve it is to reboot. i think ive seen atleast one other person on this board mention a similiar problem but i dont know if there is any real solution...
Very well documented on here. I am assuming you have a AT&T LT28at. You need to use the rogers .211 as a base for your LTE base band and some 28h based roms will not play nice with the device. I am on Aoba Black and have had zero problems and I have also run ExistenZ and can say it now has no issue.
Yes it is the att lt28at.. Is this a baseband or ROM issue with these phones? I'm using slimbean which I enjoy with the exception of this issue

Yea I tried to install that rom but never could get it to boot. It could very well be the rom as I know some have found a way to incorporate all the needed files to keep this from accruing. Best bet is to try using the .211 Rogers ftf get root and cwm then try flashing slim again or one of Optimo's roms.
They had to deletesome lines in the meta inf section for it to work. They posted a working version for this variant in that thread. I flashed Rogers baseband and so far so good

Never mind... I still have the issue though I went for days without it.. I had an issue where my sdcard slipped out of place I wonder if this may have something to do with it

I am currently running Existenz on mine and no issue so far. I would highly suggest you flash Rogers 211 clean and then flash your rom. This should fix the issue.

i can try again, i tried it once but for some reason had no data.. not sure why
There was a issue at one point. Flash the base then the 1.4.0 update then the 205 update. Runs quite well and has a ton of stuff in it.
As long as you use the Rogers211 ftf you should stop having the issue with network.
Ah. I was flashing the base then the 2.05.... Got it going now will see how it works

[Q] Downgrading 4.3 to 4.1.2 on GTN7105

I only really used to lurk the forums, but I've seen a lot of conflicting threads with regards to rooting/downgrading methods for this particular model which is why I'm asking here today:
My understanding is that KNOX itself will trip when rooting occurs and voids the warranty, and that it also blocks bootloading(?)
I made the mistake of updating to 4.3 a while back and I've regretted it ever since, and now that there's an OFW update to 4.4.2 (I'd rather not update it) I'm stuck between updating to 4.4.2 (Which might lock me out of downgrading) or staying with 4.3 until a solution appears.
Here are my device details:
SAMSUNG NOTE 2 LTE
GT-N7105
Android Ver: 4.3
Baseband ver: N7105XXUEMJ9
Build: JSS15J.N7105XXUEML3
I'm already past warranty so tripping knox isn't a problem, I just want to bring it back down to 4.1.2.
Can anyone give me advice or a step-by-step on how I should proceed? I've been looking for a solution over the last few months without any real progress...:crying:

Once Knox is triggered or updating to official 4.3 and higher one cannot downgrade to 4.1.2. So you are stuck with 4.3 and higher ROMs. Bye bye 4.1.2

[Q] Sound distortion.

I have been on 4.4.4 with the new modem for the last month or so. The problem I have is that when I flash any ROM for 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 the sound from a caller is distorted. It is often high pitched and semi-robotic. I have tried several ROMS but the only one that works without this problem is Golden Eye Version 24. Anything above that I get the distortion. I am on the T-Mobile Galaxy S4.
Does this also happen with stock firmware?

Neither do I but all of a sudden, 3 people so far are having that issue lol.
BTW, to the OP: Is your bootloader NH7?
Yes and no. I have not tried pure stock from T-Mobile but I have tried the Stock-Base 4.4.4 ROM and the Insane Kit Kat v4 and both have had the same effect. I've also tried all version of Golden Eye and every version after 24 gives me the same effect as well. I'm trying Gold Finger and have been having no issues so far.
