I have a Samsung Glaxy Note II (N7100), my wife has Galaxy Note (N7000) and my daughter Galaxy tab 7.7 (P6800).
Whenever I connect any of these phones to my PC using USB cable & run Keis it always tells me that current firmware is up to date & no upgrade available.
Funny thing is my Note II is running JB 4.1.1 & an upgrade is available, same with the Galaxy note which is running ICS 4.0 & my daughters tab 7.7 running HC 3.2.
As you can see all phones have upgrades but Keis not showing any.
A friend of mine has Galaxy S III & Y Duos & updated both via Keis many times, His S III is now running JB 4.1.2
Any clues ???
Thanks
It depends on your mobile carrier! Kies is not the problem. Most GS3 owner's have 4.1.2 updates. Note1 still need to wait for an update, just like the G-Tab 7.7 be patient, soon it will come. Just enjoy your Note2 peace-out

I saw all over internet that every note 8.0 is updated to 4.2. But I have connected to kies and no update. I am in Korea and was wondering is it my note or here in Korea there they aren't still updating to jelly bean 4.2.....does any one have any information to this. I am really annoyed with the Samsung slow update. The whole world got 4.2 and I am still stuck with this old 4.1!
Is any one else having this update problem?
Thanks in advance.

Type in gt-n5110 in the search box and you can see if there is an update for your region. If not you can just flash other versions through Odin.

One Question: Did MHL use to work on Jelly Bean ?
And yes, you can (easily) downgrade to Jelly Bean using ODIN.
